Measure (Material Ruler)

My single favorite app on the app-store. There are a lot of things it would be nice to have, like typing in lengths or side margins for rounded edge phones. But by golly, it just works. I use this every darn day because I can never find a proper ruler. No ads, no popups, no signups, no permissions.

This is the best one I've found. The UI looks great with Material Design. No ads. No paywalled features. No nag to donate. This is the best.

It's good but can add calibration feature to be more accurate.

Totally inaccurate on my device; no way to configure manually.

Simple and effective! Exactly what I needed.

To the point, honest, free, no ads, no permissions. What else can you possibly ask for? Actually, there IS one thing: an AMOLED theme. I would LOVE to see a fully zero-value true-black design option, where absolutely every es pitch-black, apart from text, the ruler lines, and the pointer, which would all be white. In any other app I would take out a star for that, but on this app, I have to consider the kindness of the developer in not putting any adds nor permissions in here. So an AMOLED theme would just come as a much welcomed bonus. Five stars. If I get my AMOLED theme, I'll try my hardest to make it six stars ; )

On Moto X4 with Android One I get the opening screen, can slide pointer back and forth, but no apparent way to activate camera. Play Store say's it's compatible.

I don't know what part of draw Circle they're talking about and. Of course needs a calibration mode. So that said check out the app called ruler by Xalpha lab.

Excellent, just does what you'd expect and looks good. But it would be even better if there was a cross in the top corner to close it more easily.

Amazing app, but often find myself wishing there as a way to measure from the right side as a left handed user

Very well done and super handy. Some reviews claim it's inaccurate, but in my Note 4 it matches my Stanley Powerlock tape as well as another metric tape.

On Google Pixel XL there is no easy way to close the application once finished with it.

Can't slide the ruller so it can only measure up to the length of your phone. Mine stay at 4"
