Meat Cooking Timer
Choose from a list of: Chicken, Beef, Lamb, Pork, Gammon, Turkey, Venison, Goose and Duck. Complete with internal temperature guides.
Press the kg/lb button to quickly covert weight from kilograms and grams to pounds and ounces.
Enter weight in kg by typing ‘1.2’ or in grams type ‘1200’. Press up/down buttons to jump 50g. For lb enter ‘2.6’ this will automatically be converted to lb and oz. Then simply start the meat cooking timer.
After the timer has finished your roast should be ready to rest for 10 to 20 minutes to reach the correct temperature.
As everyone already know but a gentle reminder in case you’re in a rush to get cooking, ensure the meat has defrosted throughout and the oven has warmed up to the correct temperature before cooking.
Oven temperature can vary which will alter the time specified by the meat cooking timer slightly, use an oven thermometer to check yours.
Always use a meat thermometer to check it has cooked thoroughly to a safe minimum temperature after the timer has finished.

Impressed. Easy to use, is in both Metric and Imperial and contains good advice. Only request would be the ability to adjust weight/time settings. ie change to 500g per 30 mins instead. I know this 6 of 1 etc, but it's what I'm familiar with, so would be helpful. Thanx
Where would we be without this meat cooking timer it as saved me many times when I cook meat as it takes out the guess work of how long to cook the meat and it makes sure you don't serve under cooked meat like i use too.
Peice of $hit app... would give 0 if I could. I've ran into several problems with beef and this weekend with Turkey, for a second time... not sure if they buggered up the calculations between weights or what, but its fucted a few dinners now...
Phone updated to android 12 and lost app. Found again it still works😃😃 but says it may not. Best and simplest app I have found.
Got salmonella because I typed in the weight rather than clicking arrows. This sloppy code gave me the wrong cooking time. I've never been more disappointed in an app.
App just opens and closes now, even after uninstalling and reinstalling.
Good way to check the temperature, remember to know the ounces before you start using it.

Great app for cooking meat just right. As like another review said,it needs to be able to be minimised and upon opening the timer needs to show remaining time. I say this because upon doing this it appears to clear the timer but somehow it is still working in the background and alarm goes at required time, but makes you panic as you think you've list the timing for your meat
Good app, times match up well with my usual recipes. It would be better if the weight input used a calculator type input rather than a phone style input.
Could do with a feature for fan ovens to adjust the temp.. also you have to keep the app open for the alarm to work! Could it not be minimised into a widget (like the native phone alarm) when you close the app? - be easier to keep an eye on the time then..
App is strait forward to use. Perfect cooked roast every time ^_^

Just what I need to ensure I know how long to cook the meat for and a great bonus of knowing what internal temperature should be. Excellent! !
This meat timer is ok for a novice. I for one would prefer to be able to adjust times and temperature. The cooking times provided are not far off of actual cooking times, but unless you have a meat thermometer you WILL over cook your food. For example. Leg of lamb cooking times vary depending on whether or not you have it with or without a bone. Bone in brings up your cooking time where bone out brings it down. This is something that is unacceptable. You should be able to adjust minutes per pound.
The additional parameters should be editable. For example the instructions for my turkey say 15 to 20 minutes per pound and the app says 20 minutes per pound. I should be able to change that from 20 to 15 or anywhere inbetween.
very useful app, cook time is close to the info u interred. i feel if app was updated it wuld hav more downloads!, but for now this is a helpng hand app!!.
Perfectly cooked meat every time. It deserves 5 stars but I think the alarm needs to be louder, even when set on max it is not loud enough. Also it would be useful if you added fan oven cooking time and a widget to keep the app open.
