It works fine for me. I know sometimes for some people it doesn't connect. But they can use a different electronic or maybe new wifi? anyways I enjoy mebo so so much. I got this for Christmas in 2016!
I really like mebo but some times when I use it the screen will freeze and I can't use it
I have a mebo and it works like a charm. Those who say it isnt good just havent figured out how to connect to the robot.
i personally think these are perfect stop asking for more and more and be happy with what you get you have to think about how hard it would be to build a robot

Peace of junk, three weekends wasted figuring out the problem why wifi disconnects on mebo app, why battery low error message pop on, instead I fully charged new batteries. If I spend this time on Amazon assembled robot I might learned few thinks. Waste of money spending on mebo, which don't work with wifi signal through phone app.
Dont understand all the negative reviews. It does take a little bit computure skills to setup. Id say 90 percent of negative reviews are people with no technical skills at allll. I updated firmware. Then took right off. Left right up down.. i picked up bottles. Chased cat etc etc.. if you dont know anything about internet and how it works stick to RC cars.
Thank you kindly for bringing the app back. My son finally got a chance to enjoy his get well present. You all are the best. I would've love to do 5 stars but I am having problems connecting to the router.
Bought three of these for my kids for Christmas. Thank goodness I opened one to test it early on. I downloaded the app and was nervous about all the negative reviews. I spent close to an hour trying to get the POS to connect. I even watched YouTube videos. I'm so glad I didn't wait until Christmas morning. I'll definitely be returning these to target. Don't waste your money!
After reading the reviews I now know I wasn't the only idiot that wasted his money. The app does not recognize the connection between any device I use and the robot. Additionally, it appears that the robot is made from extremely cheap easily breakable plastic. All in all I will be getting my money back.
This app does not work on any of our devices. Not my phone, not any of our tablets. It either won't open or doesn't stay connected. Our Mebo has been collecting dust since Christmas. $130 down the drain. Skyrocket customer service was unhelpful and frankly rude. Their suggestion was to try an iPhone. Well I don't have an iPhone and I'm not about to go spend a ton of money for a new phone that I don't need just to get my kid's robot to work! Don't buy this!
Thanks for updating the app. Now, instead of getting the skyrocket logo for 1 minute when the app opens I get it for 2. And then when the app does open it soon crashes. Says low bandwith when I try to connect router mode. Not possible, state of the art router setup here as I stream all of my TV needs and I'm quite capable of configuring this stuff thank you very much. Perhaps this toy just has a high lemon percentage? Constantly loses connection no matter what mode it is in. Wish Santa would have spent that kinda cash on a good toy.
I'd like it if you made a vr version the begging I'd like this app but then it becomes vr put two of the same screen and make it were the screen's square you lean forward to move forward and you can do the rest of of it.
Later on I've learned to work my mebo and I've got to say it's actually pretty easy to connect. Some people might not know what's going on with there mebo but mine is just fine :)
It doesn't connect correctly on my tablet. So I just wasted $150, I wasted time going to the store buying it, I wasted time waiting for the app to download, I wasted time waiting for the batteries to charge, and I wasted time trying to connect it to the WiFi.
My brother just got his Mēbo, he loves this app, it is such a great way to interact with toys and we bond over how and what to make the Mēbo do. It is also very addictive.
My only complaint is that there is a limit of feet you can go.
Worked well using a old tablet the current app does seem to intermittently have issues putting in the wifi password, for those who are missing the manual to reset the wifi use the pinhole on bottom use a paperclip and hold for 5 seconds. Then try reconnecting to the mebo-xx-xx-network.
