This is a step down from what the app was before the system was updated. It's just a mobile website now and is nowhere as fast or responsive as before. I really liked the quick balance before so I could check my balance without logging in. As it stands, there is no benefit to using this app. Save the storage space and use the mobile site as it's the exact same experience
This new app is a huge step down from the previous app. It is fairly cumbersome and confusing to read. my available balance from the main screen is different than when I open for account details. The user experience for me is scrambled and hard to read.
I didnt have very many expectations for the app. I use it mostly to make sure everything is showing up right, and the old app did that just fine. However, I have already had many problems with this new app. It keeps freezing and shutting down. It glitches quite a bit.
The app has always been clunky but functional, albeit slow, until a recent update (maybe?). Biometrics no longer work on my Google Pixel 4 XL. I've deleted and re-enrolled my device and reinstalled the app entirely. Biometrics is the only reason I use the app vs web, so back to the web I go.
Error message just started, Device unsafe. Device appears to be rooted or tampered with, certai features have been disabled. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? No option to uninstall and reinstall. I removed but now it gives me an option to eneble. This is thenfirst time i have EVER had a problem with this ap. It worked fine this afternoon.
I'm not real impressed. If you enter password in wrong twice it will lock you out. And trust me when I say customer service isnt that friendly when you have to call. And phone or app wont let me transfer money and that was a requirement. One more issue or craptastic service and I will probably go to Richland Bank.
Step down from the previous app. The only thing that works better is the remember my username checkbox, and the server infrastructure behind the app(im no longer required to change my password every 6 months). Need to remove the POS Withdrawal text, because this is pointless to anyone trying to manage there money. EVERYBODY HAS A POS. I've moved one of my accounts over because of my constant frustration with Mechanics to Directions Credit Union for a better mobile experience (w/ Mobile Deposit)
It keeps on not letting me get in can you call call customer service I put my password in like I'm post too it is Collect And it doesn't ask me The security questions before it does thisThis has happened multiple timesIt needs fixed
Just joined this bank 2 weeks ago. not happy this app will not open for 4 minutes it just stays on screen. Tried Several times same thing. Very disappointed with customer service. Waited 26 minutes before talking to someone. I think I'm going somewhere else.
The app is messed up. The logout option doesn't work now and neither does the account options. Good job.
This app looks great after the last UI update, but it lags horribly. Or is non responsive most of the time.
Super glad that Mechanics Bank is doing what they can in attempt to better their products for their customers! This new app is very user friendly and allows us to see more than we could before! I love it.
Garbage app. Rarely allows me to log on by phone. Frustrated and exhausted, I've deleted the app and just check my account from my desktop.
Will not run. I installed the app and tried to open it. All that comes up is the sash screen and then nothing. I sat here for 10 minutes waiting for it to finish liading. How long do I wait? 10 minutes? 20? 30? Im on a wheelchair and could wheel block down to the bank faster then that. I need my mobile banking back.
not worth all the trouble, no issues with old app dont know why they had to make this so complicated, ill just get an account balance at an atm when i need one
this is horrible! ever since the update I am not able to access mobile banking both through the app or desktop!
Worse app ever! Could not even log in. And if i did the number for assistance is not in your state and you cant do anything about it.
This app is simple to use and I can handle all my transfers right from my phone!
Like the old app better. Runs to slow takes me about 5 mins to get into my account.

This app is not working anymore for me
I was apprehensive with so many negative reviews. I downloaded and logged right in without any issues. I was able to see and do everything that I needed to as before. my one complaint is that I have a number transactions that say POS withdrawal- but that's generic and doesn't help me manage things because I cant remember if that was a debit purchase at a gas station, grocery, etc.
