MechBox: Open the Doors Puzzle

The game isn't hard because it needs a lot of thinking. It's hard for the sake of it. Honestly I almost hate the games where you're supposed to click everything, try everything and when nothing happens, go open some walkthroughs and then you start crying because you're still unable to solve it. Besides the walkthroughs I had to use several screenshots and Photoshop to be able to solve two of the puzzles. One extra star for the good looks and the generally good performance of the game.

Google asks me to describe my experience, and all I can say is, BAD. The puzzles start off fun, but then get more and more skill based, even just plain random shiz at times. Once you get to the level that is essentially just an extreme (extremely dumb) memory game, then GTFO. The game is not fun past the first few levels, and I don't care to find out what fresh hell awaits me if I go any further. All in all, DO NOT DOWNLOAD, WASTE OF TIME

I love boxes and puzzles. To finally have a game for that specific purpose is amazing. It's fun and gets challenging. I think not was level 8 and 10 that had me totally confused and it is because those levels are a long stretch. I mean that the other levels make sense when you finish it, those levels did not but overall it was ok. Looking for the next edition

Good idea, horrible execution.. A lot of the stages had no logical explanation as to how or why. It requires a lot of random tapping and swiping just to figure out what to do. I had gotten up to the memory game level, then it asked me for the diamond button, which was a trick, then it asks me to press the key to begin, then it says failed repeatedly. So, I painstakingly restarted the level and when I got up to that bit again, it crashed. I can't tell what's going on so I uninstalled it. kthxbi

Picture doesn't fit my phone, a bit disappointing when every logic escape game I've played fits nicely. This one looks like the picture is a bit too close, cutting off a tiny bit on all sides. Puzzles are challenging, but some are off the course when it comes to logic. Who hides a piece to a puzzle in the help box? Has nothing to do with challenging the mind, but more with being sneaky and bending the rules in your favor. What's next? Turn on my friends phone and call a number to get a piece?

I understand the need for adds, but it takes me 2 min to just open the game. Additionally great idea, really bad implementation of it. Some levels have no logical reason for their resolution, while some of them are just so easy. There should be progression, what you have learned from level 1 you have to use later on, etc.

Neat idea, but terribly executed. More often than not, it seemed as though there was little to no logic involved and the solutions were asinine and convoluted. It was "challenging" in the way that it's challenging to count 1000 grains of rice or do 100 simple arithmetic problems. Even when I was able to figure out "the trick" to "solving" a level, it wasn't satisfying because it didn't follow from a line of logic and I found myself relying more on dumb luck than my wits or puzzle solving skills.

I really enjoyed this game, and find my self playing again and again. The ads are really obnoxious though, and while there aren't many they really break the flow of the gameplay. You can pay to remove them, but the game is so short it's hard to justify considering it. Overall though this game was amazing and I hope more levels are added with the mechanical box theme in the future.

Some interesting ideas but overall there's a lack of logical steps to the puzzles. Maybe it's just me but sometimes you need to click on everything because they all look the same, sometimes there's nothing to give you any idea what to do without a hint and then sometimes the hints are so vague and you start with so little that you have to look up the solution and realise that there's no logical flow at all. Nice idea but badly implemented

The puzzles are fun but for some on how you solve them makes very little sense. At least 2 of the puzzles have you pull stuff out of thin air with no indication that you can even do so. It's similar to me locking someone in a room with 4 doors and the correct door to go through is the one with a button on the opposite side of the door ....how will they know 🤷🏿‍♂️

This game used to be good, but now level 10 bugs up and I can't beat it. After the memory portion of the level, when I press the key and the timer starts, the buttons go blank after pressing the first symbol. I uninstalled and am reinstalling it to see if it gets fixed, but if not, I am deleting the game for good!

I just finished the game. I used some hints from time to time. It would've been much, much better if the puzzles were based on general logic. Unfortunately, they were not. Several of the "solutions" were too arbitrary, and made some of the levels unnecessarily difficult as a result. Especially with level 11.

Started well enough and then you got a silly level where you had to press a button to get an arrow pointing at a specific point. There were several of these and if you missed one you had to start again. Just too frustrating with too little margin for error. Annoyed me enough to uninstall

Was good until level 7. In this level logic was set aside and the solution depended on physical reaction. I'm not particularly good at that and after about 100 tries I thought, this is bogus. I uninstalled. Fact is that when you tout a game as a logic puzzle, don't turn around halfway through and put in a level that is unpassable by physically challenged players. I'm not challenged but this level is totally dependent upon reaction time. Programmers, go back to the drawing board and fix this.

Absolute trash. Avoid. This game seems like it was made by people who have no concept of what a decent and clever puzzle is. Creative solutions? HA, no. When the solution to the puzzle is a nearly invisible spec of color on the exit dialogue for the level and the rest of the game never uses the same mechanic twice, trying to get through any level is frustrating to the point of being infuriating. Nothing is intuitive or logical by any stretch of the imagination. Absolutely horrible game.

One of the more difficult puzzle games I've played! I hate to admit it: I never would have figured out the last part of level 10 without the hint. There were also 2 other times when I was completely stumped...1 of them, the hint didn't even help...I had to consult a YouTube walkthrough. Yikes! I tip my hat to the developer...this doesn't happen to me very often... ;-)

The puzzle part of the game is a little too obscure, forcing you to just tap all over the screen searching for things that move with very little in the way of feedback. Then it suddenly gets to be a pixel-perfect reflex game. That's when i quit.

Very... out of the box. Some solutions felt like complete bs, and some felt like they were just too difficult/frustrating, but overall it was fun, and when I got stuck, I could get a hint or look up the answer. Lots of exp too, that's a big plus.

Im enjoying the game but level 9 puzzle doesn't fit my screen. The clues are not visible. Using Redmi 9C screen size 6.53" Also on level 10 there is a bug once you reach the part where it asks for the diamond code. If I select double tap and select a large number of symbols then the game jumps to a screen which says press key to begin. If user presses the key it always displays failed. I thought this was part of the game and later realised it was not.

Nice puzzle game. Obviously level 7 is very annoying. And level 9 was almost impossible due to not elements being displayed (the display is zoomed in a bit, it's always cut off on the sides)

it was great until you get to the "complete the circuit" minigame where you have to rotate the obnoxious spinning dials. unlike every other puzzle in the game it requires split second timing with janky response time and after way too long getting constantly reset I cut my losses and stopped playing. Don't waste you time on this.

This app expects you to be mind reader sometimes and the clues are less than helpful sometimes requiring a PhD to understand, a person wants a clue when all other options have been exhausted, granted there are some instances where one ovelooks clues, also if the first clue wasn't at all helpful,then maybe you should try another one and not just give the exact same one over and over again, sure I'll watch a damn ad, maybe two if you just give me a better clue. Other than that it's an okay puzzle

Should have been 4 stars if only the game is optimized for my phone (Oneplus 6t) since there are part of the puzzle placed offscreen. As far as I was able to play, the game is entertaining and really is interesting, but some puzzle solutions just felt coming out of nowhere, but still solvable if you mess with things over and over

Awful, it's not a logic puzzle at all. It's a guessing puzzle. You blindly guess your way through it hoping that maybe you'll stumble upon the correct steps. The odd level has an hint, but most you simple have to hope you guess right. The worst logic game I've downloaded on my phone yet and frankly it feels like the focus was on ad revenue. Even then after a 30 second ad the best you get is a cryptic clue. Avoid if easily frustrated.

Too many ads, ruined the game experience. Also the game is based too much around luck/chance and not skill, which replaces the feeling of having accomplished something with more of a "well glad that's over". Concept is nice but should have been playtested more thoroughly.

No logic whatsoever. The memory game part 2 is ridiculous. Even after the buttons disappear, and you figure out how to reveal the buttons after they are gone (double click on the buttons) the game glitches out to the point where pressing the key to "start" the code sequence always fails and forces you to restart the game after which it will always play an ad. Ads force you to visit the play store. This is an ad grab and an underhanded one at that. Avoid this game.

It's really good game, just what I was looking for. I love playing mystery and puzzle games. I have rated 3 star because game doesn't fit on my one 6t. Some part of the game UI gets chopped off, sometimes which contains clues. Please fix that you can get 5 stars from me.
