It consistently takes a little longer than my other bank apps to desposit checks. The photos are usually too blurry and need to be retaken a few times and I have to click a few extra times to confirm the photos have everything required to get the app to accept my deposits. They always go through after a few tries. Otherwise, easy to use.
resetting password process is awful please consider other ways for verification through email like everyone else does. This call operator process is 💩💩💩 years later and it's still clunky and behind a lot of other banking apps. Where's fingerprint authentication?
Being able to check balances, execute transfers, and deposit checks remotely is pretty cool. The check deposit function has its glitches (the text and numbers on checks don't always seem to scan the first time or two) but overall it is quite handy. Thanks.
The website is very easy to navigate when I take my time to do something. I asked why I couldn't pay my personal loan on line and just as the teller said, one of the actions you can do is hit pay loan and take the money out of the account I chose. I especially love the immediate withdrawal of funds or purchase using my bank card showing on my account almost instantly. Credit items show as a hold so I know those funds are escrowed to prevent an overdraft.
Very helpful when I need to check my account from anywhere. Easy to make transfers when needed.
I hope that the app works better than the ever replacing machines. Check deposit online is nice but it has too much to write. Mecu banking system is too outdated no matter how much they try to improve plus their lines are always too long for transactions or acct info updates within the offices of the branch. Im going to Tower FCU.
Works well enough. You can view your balance, cash checks, pay loans, etc all in the app. But you need a separate app called Mecu Cards to manage your debit/credit cards tho. So if your debit card is lost and you want to freeze the card you need the other app to do so. So 4 stars.
Picture function is slow & frustrating. Asks every time to double check the clarity, it is slow to focus, and can never read the amount of the check. With effort, it will finally accept the deposit.
The perks I used have, I no longer do. Random accounts take money from my account. I can never get ahold of a teller or any real person for support or even an explanation about who or why that is happening. I had overdraft protection now I don't all of a sudden. They are closing branches left and right. At times you can't even check your accounts because the app is "under maintenance ", meanwhile they just wanna withhold your funds and hope you don't notice or speak up.

I made the check out to CASH, then got a warning that the check wasn't made out to me (the signer). So I'm confused as to whether or not this is acceptable.

App is easy to use but the auto photo feature can require multiple attempts. Dont like I have to write for Mecu deposit only. I am not local and if there is a failure I have no option for deposits.

The previous app worked fine, but now this version no longer supports my phone. I know a Galaxy S4 isn't exactly cutting edge, but how fancy does an app need to be to scan checks?
Love this app, makes managing my business so easy.
it's much easier for me to go to the app than going to the bank. Everything is at my fingertips. but if you're not careful this can be dangerous if you like shopping or taking from your savings. I had to learn the hard way.

The app is so limited. You can't freeze your account without calling the bank. It doesn't have scan capability at the window either.
This was a bad experience I really like this app better when you gad more control over how you could take your own pictures how this is something that could possibly be fixed soon.....
Frame freezes when trying to take a picture of check to deposit. I tried uninstalling the app then reinstalling. Tried to manually take picture. No luck.
Loved accessing with thumb print instead of trying to remember passwords. Access to both savings and checking accounts with ability to transfer between accounts only took seconds. No waiting in line at the drive through. Loved it!
