Med Term Flip - Word Parts

Select a topic category, and the app presents word parts
- prefixes, roots, combining forms, and suffixes
- within that topic category. Click to reveal the definition and an example of a topic-specific medical term that uses that word part.
When you remember the definition for a word part, click "Got it!" to remove the word part from the working list. Click "Repeat" to keep the word part in the working list so it will be presented again as you continue to play.

Continue to work through the word part lists, and the app will remember your entries and help you focus your learning and review time on the word parts that you
- the user
- need to review. The app will pick up with your active word lists each time you re-enter the app, until you complete a category list and reset the category, or until you reset all categories in the main menu.

Designed to help both learning and review of word parts used in medical terminology, this app is great for studying for topic exams or the final exam in a medical terminology course.

Very very helpful and very easy to use! It has a glitch : program is freezing sometimes, especially when I am closing the phone without the exiting of the program first and then trying to come back to it. I had to restart the phone for a few times. Other than that I love it.

I would have preferred it broken down into roots, suffix, prefix... But it is a great study help. It even saves where you are when you exit the app.

The organization and content make this app a useful refresher for reinforcement or as an initial learning. Easy way to save $ on a course

Very easy to use and access on the go! Helps a lot with memorization as it provides the definition and examples! You could also review easily as you may choose to repeat the words that you missed! Great app!!! Keep it up!

I'm going through the category Human body and it is giving me suffixes(& some prefixes) as combining forms. One example is they gave me tom/o & when I flipped the card it said "to cut". -tomy means to cut, or surgical incision. Another example is crin/o. They did also have -crine, but crin/o should be a prefix crin-. It is dis-, not dist/o... etc, etc...
