Literally the ideal clipping service. Can clips videos in 1080p 60fps with ease, and uploads them so sharing wherever you'd like it one tap away. Additionally, videos can be downloaded to your computer, and easilly named whatever you'd like. The app just enhances the experience, making clips easier to share and show to whoever you'd like. I won't even get into the social media component of the app, but showing the entire community on a page of your own customization is also possible.
its honestly great. you can set the clip's length, and they recently added a way to cut them from the pc software its 5 stars as it is right now, as it is doing what it was intended to do, but i think there is a tiny room for improvement, and that is the ability to upload clips directly to youtube. However i still give it 5 stars because you can download the clip and upload it, even if not with a dingle button press
PC app is great and it's super easy to clip games and is fairly light on cpu which I would love to rate this app 5 stars for that. However this app while it looks good and has all the functions it should have, I don't know if it's me but I can only watch 2 or 3 clips before it starts endlessly buffering new videos, and if you try to trim a clip it might work but usually doesnt. Not a huge issue as the PC app is great but it would be nice for this to work well
I have ups and downs with this app. They're very close with creating a great app, but it's just not there yet. Here are some problems: - laggy and crashes when you scroll through too much at times. - There's no default page for looking at what your newsfeed is, it exists on the desktop app, but not on the mobile app. - Inconvenient filtering of videos. - Very cluttered ui.
This app works great! When it works though. on the galaxy s9+ , you can watch maybe 2 or 3 clips, then the app just freezes. You will be met with a never ending loading circle and videos that were already loaded wont play. Also, there is no option to scrub through clips, so if you have a long clip that you're watching and want to see a certain part again, you have to go all the way through the video and start it over again. There is a rewind feature, but this always freezes the app. Please fix
This app is pretty awesome. Really nice way to post your either really awesome or really stupid funny clips. When you have it on your PC all you have to do is press 1 button and you save a small clip of what just happened in your game. Really nice and easy inter face. I am new to this app and right away I understand where to go and how the app works.
As I like to game I would play on my computer and have some clutch moments when I do I want people to be able to see them, this app allows all your clips to be reachable on the go provided that you have internet. This works best when you have an account and post clips, because otherwise this app would be just for looking at some great plays 👍. This app provides the ability for showing your friends your skills 👍😁
Very easy interface to navigate, quick and easy setup, and links straight to your phone as well for quick shares to social media platforms, definitely enjoying it so far. High quality but could be changed a bit by allowing a horizontal feature to make the screen bigger and more clear to see the attentive details on screen, instead of only allowing videos to be viewed only in vertical top-down phone mode, if they did change that I would give this app a definite 5 stars and recommend it to anyone.
Fantastic idea on paper but this is not executed well at all. I'm not sure where the problem is exactly, but they are a plenty. Streamable and vimeo urls do not work when trying to submit a clip via the discord bot (if you care about that), there is no way to upload a clip via the desktop app, unsupported games are supposed to be able to record Gameplay (at the warning of the devs due to instability, fine) but they don't actually get recognized thus you cannot capture Gameplay (black ops 4 is among those unsupported games), then when you try and capture Gameplay of a supported game, it doesn't actually upload to your profile (unless it's being done in an unrealistic amount of time and I'm just not aware yet). All in all, again I think it's a really cool idea, but there are so many short comings that I would say pass on this until there is a substantial fix for just about everything.
You can see all of your published clips on the mobile app but if you want to see the clips that have been recorded but not published, I'm pretty sure you need to use the desktop app. You can control pretty much everything you need to on the mobile app. It's a little laggy with lower end devices though. Over all pretty good. You can see other people's clips on it as well.
Easily one of the worst mobile apps I've used in years. It CONSTANTLY freezes for whole minutes at a time, doesn't have any sort of intuitive GUI design (buttons all over the place, hard to find, not in usual places), although I didn't expect much considering their desktop app is almost identical. You guys either need to hire some brand new designers or actually take some real courses on how to make an efficient and professional GUI experience. (only using this until shadowplay gets fixed...)
I still use Shadowplay to make youtube because of it delivers much better quality, but medal is good enough for sharing to facebook and twitter, and i really like being able to edit my clips wherever i go. also deleting the clips off my computer saves me a lot of space so it's worth the bit quality loss. running medal and shadowplay I haven't experienced any issues. sometimes i forget its running. btw im running gtx1080+i7 6700K
Great for quick clipping editing and sharing, just as advertised. Just don't like like how they add an ad to every tweet, but they got that grind. Oh and the mic option sometiems doesn't work, some clips it'll randomly pick up what you say, other times its static, and sometimes there is no mic audio despite you picking the option to use mic.
I use this program to record gameplay on my PC, because Radeon ReLive doesn't work for me. However, this app almost never works properly. I have an up to date phone, but it almost never loads the clips I've uploaded. The app is buggy, and it also doesn't let me exit the watch window most of the time as well.
Great. Actually not just great. Really good. Unlike gifyourgame you can cut your clips shorter. The only downfall is that it records the quality of the game, while gifyourgame renders it seperately in the highest quality, even if your ingame settings are low. Otherwise, well done and the great thing is that there isnt a watermark!
Great to have a mobile app, its slightly annoying having notifications pop through for every upload on the desktop app, like i know its uploaded since I just initiated it. Only other annoyance is with the desktop app and not the mobile app but the game capture seems to be very choppy and low frame rate when the game is running above 60FPS for the recorded clips. Overall great app 4/5
For along time it been a habit of mine to clip funny or cool things that happen while I play games. The clips that I capture while playing would always just sit in a file on my computer for years until either they were taking up to much space or I transfer them elsewhere. With this app I now have not only online storage for those clips so they no longer take up space but I also get to share them with the world, and I got to say it is AMAZING. The comments are both friendly and funny. 10/10
It's a good idea and all but it's not the best. My clips take 4 hours to upload(my internet is good), a quarter of my files are corrupted or missing, really buggy, it goes on and on. I recommend you just clip stuff with game DVR and just upload it to onedrive, way easier.
Works exactly as expected. Came from console where there's a built in clip maker, so a similarly functioning app for PC was something I'd been looking for, and the ease of use is great. However maybe a small editing tutorial would be useful for some because it took me a while to realize there's a slider on each side for you to adjust where the clip starts and ends. They aren't super apparent at first.
