Amusing gimmick, tasty vodka. I always read up on new brands, and this vodka was well reviewed for quality. The only issue is solid waste and battery disposal. I wish the battery could be removed so.the thing could be recycled properly. I had a little problem with programming, the app kept saying there were bluetooth problems despite having actually loaded the texts. But that is minor. Will make a great gift.
I purchased a Medea bottle 3 years ago. I put a customized message on it using the application so I know it worked at 1 point however now there there is no option for Me To Modify the message. I don't know what has changed. I get a message from the application that I need to delete the bottle or get a code. I have attempted over a dozen times to request a code and it never comes through. There is no contact other than email. Very frustrating.
The bottle and app are a super cool idea BUT if you have a newer phone you may be SOL. I was NOT able to connect at all with my (SG="Samsung Galaxy") SG S21, my wife's SG Note 10, my old SG S9, my son's iPhone 12, etc. The only devices I was able to get to connect was my son's old iPhone 7 and even older SG Note 5. So, if you have a newer phone, I wouldn't count on being able to customize the bottle.(but maybe it's just something I'm doing wrong - I doubt it tho as I'd say I'm pretty tech savy)
Absolutely heartbreaking. my mother bought this for her sister, as a creative little Christmas gift. Now she isn't exactly tech-savvy, and asked me to program a phrase or two into the bottle's clip on LED. After downloading the app, I noticed it had no display. Couldnt pair to the bottle, and couldnt find any help page about the issue. finally researched the manufacturer of the LED, and it's only comparable with iOS 8.0 or higher. I own an android. There was no indication of this on the box.
Absolutely love it! I didn't realize you could download app and personalize messages til I tried it and realized it was so good , so I went to look at bottle to see the brand( bottle was given to me ) and I notice the power on button and read the label ! What a great idea , love love love it !
This thing's just a gimmick to get your money. Multiple people with some of the latest phones on the market Are all unable to connect to the Bluetooth of this device. Obviously it's an on going issue and they can care less To fix what obviously should be an easy fix.
Please save your money Bought it from a representative at Costco and was so excited to give it to my brother for his birthday. I'm able to connect, but the message flashes for like two seconds then turns off. I think we got one with a faulty battery. It's not worth the risk. Such a buzzkill; I'll see if Costco will take it back. The vodka itself isn't bad, but the whole appeal of the bottle is the custom message.
This was fun. I will save the bottle after the vodka is gone. I just bought it for the (good deal) vodka (at Grocery Outlet) and didn't see the scrolling banner part until later. A fun find. We customized messages for several occasions.
Works Great and is certainly the great entertainment talking piece! I haven't actually drunken the vodka yet, but how can someone really mess up vodka? Be sure to download the app on a decent phone with the good data to get the best experience! I'm buying more of these as gifts! 👍🏾👍🏾
The app is easy and cool I just wish the battery has a longer life or changeable I've had this bottle for over 3yrs I can't wait to taste it this Superbowl LET'S GO CHIEFS!!! but I also think you guys could and should expand on this idea I will give my updated review after I taste it
waisted my time. tried to set it up for my store so I could sell a bunch and show it off. I couldn't get it to conect. and I followed the instructions. very frustrating. sat her for an hr trying to make it work. 😑
easy to download. easy instructions. hilarious message on the bottle. I'm going to buy a whole case and use them for wedding centerpieces. love it.
Shockingly underdeveloped app. Cannot reconnect to the bottle after first time. Will have to return bottle to wholesalers.
yo man. this damn thing doesn't even work. set it up the day i bought it and aint been able to connect since. waste of time and money
This app is a complete failure. This sounded like a great feature, but it is just BAIT AND SWITCH. Bummer.
The second time I tried to connect my bottle it tells me that I already have this account and I need to get permission to use it again... from me it's very confusing.
Love the bottle and the way it looks but cant change words on the LCD screen really annoying and fustrating

3rd bottle in 7 yrs love it even amazon sells d led light insert. need to know were in Costco sell it central coast California tanks again

Awful. I'd tried this with multiple 'bottles'. It claims to connect, lets you enter a custom message, then nothing displays. The step-based instructions are terribly flawed, with every other instruction telling you to push the on/off button once, you end up just cycling it through each mode, including OFF, and none of them display any custom message. No matter what I did, I could never get any custom message to appear on any of the 'bottles'. Yes, they're all OFF except one at any time.
