The app is horrible. It wont talk to the thermostat half the time and the camera is hard to pull up. It loves to say obtaining camera image. They need to do some serious updates to this app.
first off thermostat and the app don't work together... it took over 3 minutes to shut off furnace last night and the guy was here yesterday. the app says manage key codes. that don't set up door key pad codes, just stores them more or less. he had to take from door pad apart to set up a code, then i realised later he took my master one out and put my friends in. then the system don't see the front door now. the screen is pixilated all the time . stuck paying for equipment even if don't work
Works pretty good. Logs you out automatically after 10 or 15 minutes sadly....sometimes have to reload the app to see cams. 3-22-21 Now it won't load at all and no updates available yet.
The app is too old and not compatible. I cannot even set my alarm while I'm away now.
I downloaded this app, i cant even get into this ,will someone please contact me and correct this problem. I dont know how many *s to give, i cant even get into the damn thing.
Camera image won't load. I pay good money to be able to see whether or not there's something going on!
It took 5 crew members from 9am till 6pm to get the security job done.Also me (billy davis) and roomate (neita neal).The security installers coulda been better qualified.They also did not show much of touch screen homeportal instrucrtions.The cable internet intallers just left the modem on the floor didnt bother to ask where to mount it at.My puppys had a ball tearing up the cords.(thankful i had exstra)! Also niether cable or security installers bothered to hook up the telephone to modems.
Slow and always have to back out an reload.
Works great z.I just figured out how to do alot of app's on this system.
I like the home app with the alarm.
It sucks i cant get it to upload on my phone

We have had Mediacoms home controller for over 18 months. We have never had a problem. I really like the key pad on the new app, I was tired of having to scroll up and down to enter alarm code!
My app keeps freezing up, which has been a real problem
Mediacom home controller security is the best to have for your own security I would not take no other security except for Mediacom on controller I have 100% faith in them they are there to do their job for everyone

I have had nothing but trouble with this app, my pad which I have been told is outdated and isn't sending a strong enough signal. I have had this service for about 2yrs and have had nothing but trouble from the beginning. I almost hate calling Mediacom, because its the same problem each time. Whatever the problem is fix it cause I am paying for it and I am fed up! I can't even keep an eye on my home because the app won't let me sign in most times, so what's the use? Anyway JUST FIX IT!!!!!!
