Update: I'm lowering it to one star now since I'm getting more frustrated. I got my paper bill today and said it was past due, even though the app always said I didn't owe anything. I reinstalled the app again, hoping it might reset, but it didn't. I'd be glad to go to paperless billing, but if I didn't, I'd never know what was actually happening with my bills.//First Comment: It is rather confusing when it keeps saying I don't owe anything but I get a bill in the mail saying I still owe some.
Excellent way to reset your router wirelessly, and manage all of your devises. It shows the speeds your getting, and the amount used to date. It's also super easy to pay your bill. It's super user friendly, and helps you troubleshoot as well. It's better than waiting on the phone for someone to answer for several minutes, when you can do it all yourself. 👌Supurb.
The app I s functional, that's all I can say. I went from Comcast to Mediacom and the difference in apps and functionality is night and day. The biggest issue I have is that the layout is below standards of other apps in our modern times. I deli like I'm using a 2012 app. You have to tap 3-4 times to get something to open up. They really need to work on their app.
The app is basic yet gives you a few options to monitor and pay your bill. For me it sends me to eero app to deal with all of my wireless routing information and my two WiFi extenders. This gives me my status for all devices, their speeds, what's allowed to be connected, when a new device joins I get a text, etc. I think this boils down to how upgraded mediacom is in your area. We have 1Gbs and they're laying down lines for fiber optic. We live in the start of the rural life so I'm excited!
Easy to navigate. No unnecessary bells and whistles. UPDATE: Not sure what I was referring to a year ago, because the app definitely has its issues. Such as the advance billing and the statement that I'm past due!? I'll be glad when I'm done with Mediacom!
The app has potential and is quick and convenient. I recently moved and instead of transferring my account to the new address, mediacom decided to create a whole new one. Now the app constantly switches between the old account and the new one. I have to log out and log back in each time.
Having the app definitely makes paying your bill much easier. No long hold times or worried about having checks. Every experience has been phenomenal. I give it 4 stars because there is always room for improvement.
The text in for help option so broken and the agents never see me responding until way later so they always disconnect connection due "to lack of response" even when I'm responding. And when I try and use the trounleahoot option on the app, it says it's unavailable...
Unable to use the app without user name and password from MediaMonkey, but they don't send it to you, and you can't set it up yourself. You have to go through customer no-service, which usually includes 30 minutes of time on hold.
EXPENSIVE RATES!!! However, this App is great for everything I need it for. Super easy to pay my bill. What would be awesome is if they had a part of the app that would lower thier ridiculous costs for cable television.
App is slow to load, and autopay for bills fail allot, resulting in fees. It needs a major overhaul. Also can't see outage reports or maps, only a vague "an outage has been reported in your area" then a ruff estimate of fix time that is often off by 24 hours or more.
Other than pay your bill the app is a sham. It even says in the fine print it's for entertainment only. You can't change any settings, connected device list is wrong and disconnecting one from router/modem doesny really. The only "advanced" option is port forwarding which only changes what you see it doesn't change any actual modem/router settings. So yea, basically a fancy billing app that lets people who know nothing about managing a modem/router at home feel like they have some control
Reading I would increase my star rating if it wasn't for the fact of the matter is I can't even see what devices are connected to my Wi-Fi the internet connection keeps cutting in and out continuously I really think this app needs updated.
It never remembers its password, when I click the link for "Register" or "Forgot" the app hangs in a white screen. Clearing data and cache did nothing to help. App is useless if you can't register or reset your password.
No issues with the app so far. The cable and internet service is way over priced, extremely slow all the time, no service constantly. The apl gets 5 stars the service gets -5.
Most of the time I log into this app it doesn't work. It won't let me view my bill or pay it. The outage mail doesn't give me reliable information. Overall for a company that advertises 99.9 percent up time this all is down way too often.
Connected wifi devices never refresh, same phones that have been in the dumpster for over a year, show they are still hooked up to the wifi.
I'm trying to figure out why I pay Comcast Xfinity prices for internet services that aren't near fast as Xfinity and TV service that is also premium price but definitely not premium. every time I have a guest they ask What is wrong with my high definition. streaming from prime or any other services look great but my Mc cable looks like s#¦+. & I had a new cable dropped from the pole and replaced everything else outside
The app was much easier to use with a screen reader before you "updated" it. I can no longer use it to pay my bill unassisted. Being blind, it would be nice to have an app be accessible to screen readers in bill paying section.
Terrible functionality and navigation, limited information and bugs out frequently. Pretty terrible.
Worthless. The tools needed are *unavailable* and I can't actually connect with anything to solve the endless problems we have with this company.
This app needs work. It took me three tries before my payment was accepted. And I am expecting all three payments to show up on my bank statement. I can actually see it happening with this app.
Helps keep good track of my data usage and is easily helpful with making bill payments. Nice looking, simple and to the point.
Don't forget your password!!! Update deleted my log in, saved pw and sign in not working. So try Forgot Pw... Links to broken blank screen ... Just trash. Does no one test this app before release . And log in is your email not log in name.
This app is awesome! It keep you from standing in long lines at the store to pay your bill. Very, very Convenient for customers 👏
Not just the app but the useless company who will give deals to new customers but sod off If you've been with them for any amount of time. Customer service sucks and so does their service!!!!!!
I thought this would make paying my bill easier. I went to register and all I got was a blank screen. After 5 times I decided I'll just use the customer service #.
Cumbersome App, can't scan CC cards, CANNOT change primary email address ever. Confusing terms for paperless billing. Redesign this APP.
App does not show breakdown of billing, so I can't see why my bill is higher than what I signed up for. Customer service is also terrible.
Good company to be with but honestly after your time is up they make your stuff slower on purpose... as well as increasing the bill as stated in the contract. However it's a ploy to get you to upgrade for a cheaper yet better plan. Making you wonder how and why you had the previous plan before.... once that time is up boom regular price kicks in. Which is almost double the cost. The app is definitely great and easy to use and see what's going on in your plan and has everything you will need..
