MediaHouse UPnP / DLNA Browser
Stream music, videos, movies and pictures from PC, NAS or any other device running UPnP/DLNA compliant media server. MediaHouse powers your device i.e. phone, tablets or google TVs with the following capabilities:
1. Automatic scan of your home network over Ethernet or Wifi to identify PC, NAS or any other device running UPnP/DLNA media server.2. Shows capabilities of the scanned servers by dividing them into two categories, one from which you can serve content i.e. called Play From and others to which you can play that content i.e. called Play To.3. was working great, until an update. Now it can't connect to any media files. I think I have to pay for upgrade to Pro to make it work again. Such a disappointment. I have uninstalled it now.
Does something no other program does. It will let you pick a folder and play everything in it. Mostly as a few folders fail.
I purchased the Pro version some time ago, which seems to have disappeared from the store, so I can't install it on my new phone. I want the Pro version or a refund. Rip-off!!
Won't let you transfer mare than 1 file without paying for premium, disconnects, stutters constantly while playing. Terrible app, terrible developer
Superb. I use it to play films etc. from my NAS drive and it works a treat. I can then output it to my TV or tablet. Ace.
Great app, finally found something reliable and fast to access my itunes and images stored on my Windows PC.
I use this to play movies from my video jukebox. If properly titled it provides full movie information and trailer. Works great for my need. Using pro version and tversity as my jukebox software
I like IT, but Display List based on file DATE and search function only on Film.. Would be nice.. The Rest is the best

Where is paid PRO version? Purchased it, now try to install on new phone and when I push in-app buy button it says app doesn't exist. Are you kidding?

Could not find my Synology NAS
A very nice app that has become somewhat hard to use after the latest update. Does some fancy movie listing that is very buggy, doesn't accurately list the contents of a directory and I can't disable in favor of a normal listing. Please keep it as it was before...? I never designated any folders as "Movie Source" and it's not obvious to me how to remove it. I tried poster/details view but they all had the same problems.
Well it plays files, so that's good. But there seems to be no way to tell it to play all the songs in a playlist, in order. That's why I have a playlist! A dumb design decision that makes the app worthless.
Seems to work ok with universal media server running on mint 18.2. Please add interactive zoom pan on images. There are options re resolution but output is fixed
I've used this for years and it's still the best player I've found for playing and browsing through large libraries over upnp or dlna. I ended up rolling back to an older version to get the dark theme back. I hope they bring back the dark theme. I noticed the pro version disappeared too, but I already bought it previously. It sideloads well on every device I've owned, android TV boxes included.
