App wants too many permissions and when you specifically deny something like access to making calls then it refuses to load unless you allow it full access manually in settings. WHY? I just want access my WiFi storage, not have Verbatim make calls on my phone. Not only uninstalled, won't buy Verbatim anything again!
The App now wants permissions which has nothing to do with transferring files via wifi. Now you can't use it without giving total control.
this app now makes the mediashare hardware useless. doesnt connect now. will never buy anything from verbatim again. whats the point in buying something then months later, app gets update to make device brought useless so cant return item as out of cooling days period.

Love it even more with the recent update. Looks like I now prefer this app as opposed to my native explorer to browse for files since the update. A very fresh and clean look and much more smooth to operate since the update. Thank you, was thinking this app/device had been abandoned.
I've been using this for a while, and I love the device. However, since the last update I can't access the app without needing to allow the app to access my contacts and be able to make and manage phone calls (among other things). Why does a device that allows me to stream music need to be able to make phone calls or access my contacts? Why would I want to allow an app to do that for no reason? And why can't I access the app without granting these permissions? Completely unacceptable state of affairs.
I bought the Verbatim wireless hub to use with my iPhone and iPad because you can't plug in a normal USB flash drive. As I also use a Nokia 6 Android phone I downloaded this app to use the wireless hub on that too. It is an alternative to using an adapter in the charging port. It's a neat and porable device.
No option for device settings. Therefore I cannot connect my Wi-Fi hotspot or even use it. After buying a product and it not being able to do it's job now. That's disappointing and robbery. Shame
Its time to change the user interface. Make it more user friendly and be able to read raw files ( other formats tooo)
Pants- much preferred the previous app. Unable to bridge networks as will not accept my password & can't reset !
needs permission for everything except network accces, then wont detect my wifi in any of my devices. great app concept! poor functionality and way too intrusive.
You don't need access to so many things verbatim. Update your app so it isn't so intrusive.
The old version was ok but now why in HELL would an app like this need access to contacts and phone and it days it needs the abillity to make calls screw that. Is this how all the scam calls are done now? Just take that part out at least. Also only 1 star now because you cant give negative stars.

It says it can be installed in an Android with v2.2 and higher. It won't let me install in Android 4.4. Also, I have the Verbatim Mediashare Wireless Mini. The app for that device is gone now. I'm trying this one. Thanks.
Doesn't work with latest Android software update. Also doesn't cater for selection of multiple folders, or handling of duplicate files previously copied.
The software has stopped working on samsung s6 on android 7. Annoyed as now useless and was great..
This app won't let me use it for the reason that I don't want it to access my contacts, record audio, take photos and control phone calls, which an app for external storage should NEVER need to do - I gave it control of external storage, and that's all it should need to do Whoever wrote this app clearly wants to steal your contacts, and make phone calls on your device, so that they can make money from premium rate lines, either that or they known nothing about app privileges!!!
