I keep this app on my phone as a T2D with other medical conditions so that if anything should happen responders have access to all necessary information and persons to be notified. What's not to like about something that could save my life? It a great app and one I constantly recommend to others. Great job, keep up the good work!
I really want to like this app better, but it has one major problem. The main reason I bought this was for the lock screen widget. But even though I've turned on accessibility for the app, it keeps getting turned off. It also doesn't show up in the installed app list when I try to set it to never sleep. If the dev can fix the accessibility issue, 5 stars. But it's not much use if the widget disappears just when it's most needed.
Great App, and I used it for years on my Pixel 2. However I have just changed to an S22+ and the lock screen widget is unresponsive. You need to keep tapping it to open the app, which in an emergency is a big problem. I loaded a competitor (Emergency Medical ID) and the widget works fine. But otherwise a much inferior app... .
easy to use extremely helpful when remembering what meds you are taking and a list of health conditions so that in an emergency, the app just needs to be opened and everything is there for the attending medics to get a medical snapshot of your health.
I wish it would have your COVID vaccine results. like a picture of your vaccination card. also it doesn't show your emergency contacts like it should I. the main screen. people that don't use a smart phone would have a difficult time trying to call your emergency contacts if they don't know what to look for it should be on the screen with all your information. other then that it's ok. just needs improvement.
Provides the perfect emergency app that makes emergency information available to rescue people.
Love this app. It has a free and a paid version. Definitely worth the paid. With the paid version there are No ads and can if synced with contacts, list your emergency contacts at the bottom under medical notes. Then, First responders can call your emergency contacts straight from the app even though phones locked. You can also share your information via email or print. I emailed a copy to each of my emergency contacts just in case. It's also great to print a copy for doctors appointments. The only thing to make this better would be the ability to update it via computer. For someone like me whose meds change a lot due to a complex medical history, it is sometimes hard to make the changes on the phone...
While it's layout is exactly what I am looking for, I purchased the premium version to have the ability to send alerts to my emergency contacts. Yet, it does not appear to be able to perform that function. No SMS alert button, and no emergency call button, even though they are both checked on. If it can, there aren't instructions how to activate and use. I will use this app until I can find another that will perform that necessary function.
Almost perfect. Whenever I'm on the phone the widget turns off completely and does not come back on when I get off the phone. I've added this app to the do not kill list on my optimizer but it still has this issue. Please fix. I have a seizure disorder and this is very helpful for my family to use instead of scrambling to find my information. Please fix!
Could not love this much more than I do as is!! Easy customization. Intuitive. All the room you need to add thorough and detailed records. Easy use for rescue personal or the average stranger who may be near you in an emergency and see your phone. The HELP page is terrifically easy and thorough and PHONE BASED, so you can quickly and easily fix any things in your phone's software that might try to himder the app. Absolutely amazed by it. No I do not work for them.
A really nice App with lots of useful info for an emergency. I'm using it with a Huawei P20Pro with the Microsoft Launcher: On this phone, the persistent notification method on the lock-screen appears but won't work as tapping it will not open the App unless the phone is unlocked (which it wouldn't normally be in an emergency). Using the overlay method instead does work well provided that you go into the Settings | Battery | App Launch options and set it to manual (so that it can run in the background without being suspended by the OS). A minor point is that the overlay method uses the home screen background, not the lock screen background, which it should. More importantly, there also needs to be an option not to display the overlay when the phone is unlocked (as it is not needed). I use the phone with Face ID to automatically unlock it when you look at the screen and having to dismiss the ICE overlay manually every time is slightly irritating. Sort that out and it would get a fifth star.
I just installed today and went ahead and purchased the upgrade. Unfortunately, my phone updated an app and when it restarted, I still had to use the fingerprint or code to get into the phone before anything would show on the screen. That seems like a very bad issue if I was in a traumatic instance. I might have well spent the money on a bracelet or necklace with my medical info. EDIT: The concept is great, and except for the "restart" issue, It's exactly what I wanted. If there is way to work around this issue, someone please let me know. If it helps at all, my phone is a Motorola G Power. The restart happened after it auto-updated to Android 11. But the phone does occasionally shutdown and restart after other auto-updates and I don't know until I pull out my phone and realize it has shut down. Please find an override option for this app to work any time the phone is powered on. Thanks for the great app.
It's a great app & necessary app to have & I recommend it to all my friends! However one improvement I would like to see in the future is an option to upload & store images (such as of driver's licenses & health insurance cards) & important documents (such as advanced directives). Thank you for all your hard work on this app & keeping it up to date!
out of all other four emergency apps I have tried this is the best I have found. I have actually bought the full version twice to put on two different phones. there is one things I would change if it were me. I would have it where the sound that is heard on the receiving phone when an alert is cent could be changeable where the alert could be distinguished from others
Awesome app. I got to use it in real life recently : when the ambulance crew started asking questions, I just handed them the phone. Really appreciate the available weight and height conversions -- I was asked several times, it's really handy. One additional feature I'd like to see : attachments. If I could add PDFs of my stent placement cards I could stop stuffing my wallet with them.
Excellent app. Icon appears on lock page, double tap to open. No need to give out password or codes to unlock phone. Also once you add emergency contacts, the data will pull from your contact list for direct dialing...just tap the emergency contact name and phone dials them. Easy to use and has plenty of space in each category for allergies, med list, conditions, surgeries or other general useful information in the event of an emergency.
This app is very well thought out. So much so that I paid the slighly hefty fee to get the pro version. In the event of an emergency, medical personnel can access my pertinent medical info. The app developer was very responsive in fixing a bug I found. A note for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users: The lock screen on my phone stays on for only about 10 seconds. Someone needing to access your medical info via the lockscreen needs to be VERY fast. This is not a fault with the app as far as i can tell.
very good app, only problem is all the ads that pop up all the time, even when I'm not using the app. kind of disappointing since I paid for it. ads should be gone were I upgraded, they open and it takes time for them to go away. when you have health issues its not something you want to deal with. if it becomes to bothersome I will have to delete it,
Have been using since 2018. Best ICE app in my opinion out there. You can list all personal information needed. Sits on phone and able to open even when phone is locked.
Great app. Easy to understand. No ID/pin needed to access information from locked screen. Excellent.
This is a great app it is and I am v sure will be many times over a lifesaver. The great thing about the app is its innate simplicity and its elegant interface. You won't find a ton of junk you don't want and have no use for. This is for emergencies and at this it excels. NOTE: To devs. It may be kind of useful to tell folks that all their information will be gone when they upgrade.
I think this app is one of the best apps I found. i love the ability to customize the lock screen emergency button to call whomever I want without having to unlock the phone, this is great that my ICE contacts can be contacted This is the kind of app that should be included as part of the default software included with all new phones
As a former paramedic, I appreciate that the application is a tool to keep a patient's medical information in a handy easily accessible app
Needs options to have seperate pass codes on seperate profiles. Or one with no code for EMT; and one locked for emergency contacts to access as they'll have the code. Once you buy premium you cannot use the free app, so I can't have that as an option either. I'll have to get a secondary app to use for my in depth medical history to give the code to my emergency contacts; seems pointless to have a single pass code for all profiles, when EMT wouldn't be able to access the info anymore
