It has worked once for me. Opening to a login page is clunky. The UI for tools is extremely unfriendly to use and not very intelligent. The actual tools do not provide any useful information. The figures provided are wild estimates. Available real data is expexted, a complete opposite is what you get. It doesn't use specific account/plan parameters. The info it provides is nonspecific and nonapplicable. Does a little bit of nothing expected and not well. Website is far more capable and required
More often than not I get an unexpected error message and cannot log in using the App.
I was told I could use the app to access ID card number and group number, and the app does neither. Unlike other healthcare apps.
Terrible. Not user friendly whatsoever, and it's one of the slowest apps I've ever used. The very few features that this app offers experience malfunctions and glitches every time I try to use them. I never write bad reviews, but this review is needed. Having no app is better than having one that never works. Finding in-network providers should not be this frustrating.
The app is poorly designed. I wish I could set up my fingerprint biometric to log in with rather than have to type my password. Also, the claims list should be excel-like with sortable columns/rows for easier review of claims information. It would be really helpful, too, if you included the date the claim was processed and the doctors name. I still don't understand why you also don't provide the diagnosis/procedure codes.
First of all... FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARROWED THROUGH TO GET TO YOUR BIRTHDAY...all you needed to do was click on the Year (at the top of the pop-up box) and a wheel comes up so you can scroll to select YOUR year...lol. As for the app...poorly designed. After entering my DOB, the blue circle just spins. I Force Stopped the app and tried clearing the cache, but still no luck.

setting up APP and need to enter my DOB. there is no drop-down menu to quickly insert my DOB. I now have carpal tunnel of the pointer finger because I had to hit the "previous month arrow" 473 times. MedMutual it's 2019!!! I didn't think it would take 20 minutes to download a high tech APP.
Not saving logon info, not supporting biometric authentication. Poor design. For people having issues with the DOB, click on the year and you get a scroll down for that. Still a pathetic date picker, but that is what the kindergarten developers know today. Usability does not matter as long as they can have some fancy icons and rainbow colors.
Really, how does any developer not let you type in the date manually??? Anyone using this app more than likely at least 26 years old, which means they have to arrow over 12 months at least 26 times, and more than likely more. it shouldn't take five minutes to enter your birthday ever. Fix that before anything else!
Very easy to use. I like that everything populates on the main page and navigation is simple and fast. Luv the finger print security option.
Just downloaded this onto my HTC u11. The app opened the first time. Entering my DOB, as referenced on here by many others, is a joke. Took several minutes to toggle over to enter it. Then, it just sat there with the spinner of death, so I finally gave up and closed it. Cleared the cash, forced close, then restarted my phone. Still won't open. just sits at the entry screen with spinner of death. I'd be happy to amend my rating if a developer will help me figure this out.
I haven't run into any of the usability problems mentioned in reviews prior to August. Yeah, it's a bit slow and I REALLY wish I could view a schedule of benefits, but it gets the job done.
I used to be able to pay my premium and access my online pharmacy through this app. Since I had to get a new phone and reloaded the app it's completely different. Can't pay my bill or access my prescriptions through this app. I have to go through multiple places to get my info.
the app wants me to enter my birthdate and pops up a calendar of the current month and year. I can't scroll back month by month to get to 19** need to be very able to manually enter month/day/year so i can't even use the app because I can't get past this point. Please fix.
The only reason I have this app is to make sure I have my insurance card since there is no way to access it on the website. I've tried on two phones and 3 tablets and it never loads. I have a couple new prescriptions that aren't covered by Medicare since medical mutual is my primary. I cant access my rx number without my card so I'm currently screwed.
Foolishness of an app. There is no way to access the balance on my HSA account, even though there's an icon that says balances; it is the main item I check consistently. Very limited functionality compared to the website. And the DOB login is a joke.
Definitely an improvement over previous version. The account balance however doesn't show out of pocket max which still requires logging in to the website to find. At least they're improving the cost estimator.
Not so bad. More than anything I think people need to learn how to use their phones. If you couldn't figure out that taping the year makes it so you can select your birth year you might wanna have your grandkids help you with you new fangled telephone device.
I'm 60 years old, which means I had to tap through 720 months to get to my Birthday. That is absolutely ridiculous. Add a date wheel or allow a manual entry, you know like every other app in the world has.
I cant even log into the app, because it requires my birthdate and won't let me type the date manually. I was born in 1956 and dont want to spend an hour or more scrolling backward through the years!! Fix it so you can manually type in birthdate!
Shame there is not a zero stars. I installed before I read reviews. Reviews are accurate. The "birthday" entry is the worst ever (I'm 64). The spinning wheel of death is where I uninstalled...it spun while I took a shower!
The setup account on this app is ridiculous. I had to scroll back on my calendar from 2019 all the way back to my birth year of 1957. I think my first claim will be for carpal tunnel! LOL
It wants me to input my DOB which is fine, but then it brings up a calendar with today's date. I am not scrolling back to 30 years ago, thats ridiculous. No way to get around it.
Good organization great employee's with reasonable rates. The App and website are easy to navigate and have never had any trouble talking to someone on the phone. I Thank you Medical Mutual.
I couldn't even sign on to the app. Who has the time to scroll through 50 years worth of dates to input a birthdate??? Why am I not able to just type in my birthdate? This may be a great app otherwise, but I gave up and uninstalled it.
Nice app, but if you mess up the password twice you have to put in the card number and other information. Need to increase this to 4 tries.
The fingerprint login pops up, but doesn't work. Probably because I have an Android phone. My friend's works with her iPhone. Please fix.
Downloaded the app because I couldn't find my insurance card and when I downloaded the app and I opened it up there was no way to see my insurance card only thing I could see was claim and coinsurance logged out log back in and still nothing luckily I just found my medical insurance card
Simply can't log in, more often than not simply can't even log in. Same goes for the website as well. Saying it's a multibillion dollar industry and can't even get a simple log in right on a simple app. Had a heart attack and need to log into my account. Useless.
