***** BUT :)- This rating is for the many years I had been using this app with my older phones (BlackBerry, then also BlackBerry android) . Now with the new pixel 5, I will see how it goes and will update this review if needed. I have also contacted the developer to understand what they recommend. Hoping to use this with my new phone as well. Thanks.
It keeps losing GPS signal. I went for a 10km walk and only 2km were captured because the other time the signal was lost. One has to keep checking if the signal is still on.
Simply the best. Works amazing offline, don't need Gapps and is lite. Also has a lot of features.
Great app but since Android 10 it needs to be active on phone screen or it will lose the GPS.
Best workout app i've ever had. The free one worked so well I changed to Pro.
Outstanding App. Been using it since the old BB10 days. Reliable, fast.
Best tracker there is!
Decent app but not nearly as many features as the BlackBerry version. The upload/sync with the Meeting server doesn't work and there's no option to do a local backup of all of your workouts the way there is on the BlackBerry. The end result was that when I changed phones I lost more than a year of workouts. I've sent more than a half a dozen emails to the developer with no response.
Its a fantastic app no doubt about it. Purchased the pro version as well. However please keep in mind as per my view the developer has abandoned it. There are no updates or features added since almost two years. Moreover the developer never responds to mail and feedback. Can't request features cause of no response.
I have been using Meerun for years on various devices. I find it is one of the best of it's kind. I find it accurate (apart from altitude) easy to use and clearly presented with a good selection of user options. There is no need to register and create a user account if you don't want to. In app export of your tracked routes as gpx files is good functionality. I'm not sure Meerun is still in active development but if it is, I would like the option to use GPS altitude instead of the phone's built in altimeter. GPS is much more accurate than an uncalibrated pressure altitude sensor.
App declares 200 yards into every run that satellite signal has been lost. Worked well on BlackBerry, but not on Samsung
Seems to have better GPS filter while mountain biking than e.g Sports Tracker. Only thing missing is category for MA training. No need to have account is also a definite plus!
I have purchased the pro version before but the app restore option doesn't work. I sent an email to the developer but he didn't answer.
Too expensive. A used the blackberry paid full version. It was great. The best sports tracker. This one seems to have a GPS problem. It is very unreliable compared to other sports trackers that I use on my Xiaomi.
It was working very well but since updating to android 7, it crashes after 2km of use.
Best running app by far on blackberry and very good on Android. I like detailed analysis of runs, like pace per half mile, etc. Would rate 5 stars with Google Fit integration.
I really enjoyed this app on my BlackBerry, I had the pro version. How can I transfer my pro version from my BlackBerry to my android with out having to purchase it again. I want to love it again but this basic version is not as slick as the pro version.
Works better and more intuitive than most other sports apps. It's simple yet packed with useful info and features.
Very good app. Avaliable for many platforms. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated for more than 4 years and its cloud syncing stopped working nearly a year ago. It's a pity, really. Still a good app, also if you're concerned about privacy issues of other such apps, and if you bought MeeRun you can import/export workouts in gpx format.
