This app is horrible! It takes several minutes to load, and really, once it does load, the matches it sends don't come close to what I set my wants as. UPDATE: Now it tells me I need to verify my email (which I've already done) but when I click on the link in the email, it dies absolutely nothing! So Meet Mindful can suck it! It wasn't worth the time in the first place, add frustration to it and it's worth even less.

The dating service is great. The kind of people I'm looking for, and more of them than I expected for a specialized service in my medium sized town. However, the Android app is really buggy. I just got 13 notifications for a message I received 12 hours ago. regularly lose the navigation bar and have to backpedal or restart the app to fix it. Still more convenient than having to go through Facebook to access the service, but just barely.

So far, a waste of time. Push notifications don't work at all. Contacted support. Uninstall and reinstall was their fix. Still doesn't work. App is glitchy and you have to exit and go back in to do the simplest things. Also, I'm located adjacent to NYC, but I live in a different state altogether. All my matches are in NYC? Why? I asked if there was a way to filter to fix that. The answer is no. I'll edit if my experience improves, but so far this app doesn't deserve one star.

I cannot upload pictures and it's almost impossible to contact support for help. When I try to upload a picture, it shows a "working" icon for a while and then that goes away and nothing happens. No picture shows. I have tried this on Firefox, Edge, and the app. I have tried uploading a pic through both options "My Device" and Facebook. On the app, when I try the Facebook route, none of my pictures from FB show up. With the free version, there is no link to contact support, only a link to a "Help Center" that has generic answers to generic questions. So, I upgraded to a premium membership in order to contact support. When I clicked on the "Contact support" link on the webpage, nothing happens. (I don't have any adblock plugins installed.) In the premium membership confirmation email they sent, the link to the "Support Team" pulls up an email with no email address. The link doesn't even have an address included, only "mailto:%23." This is the second time I've paid for premium and it's clear it's not worth it. Uploading photos should be one of the most basic functions of the app and website, and shouldn't require jumping through a bunch of hoops to figure out what's wrong.

Seems to be on its last legs. I paid for 3 months of premium and it worked ok at first, but now the search feature barely functions. It gets stuck on your past search parameters even after they have been cleared. I was stuck only seeing vegans for a few days even after I logged out and back in. That could be a minor glitch with an easy fix if I could contact support, BUT THERE IS NO LONGER ANY SUPPORT AT ALL!!!!! There is no chat feature or any way to contact anyone that I can see.

The cost of being a premium user is outrageous considering one's actual experience. I was a premium user for nearly a year and during that time I had only two matches--one of which was a friend (we were testing the app). My profile was 100% complete with 5 photos, I live in a large city within 2hrs driving distance of even larger cities (Seattle and Portland), and a subscription to this service was still a bust. The concept is great, but the actual experience is a waste of time and money.

Super expensive for a subscription (which seems to be the only way to get ANY value), tons of inactive profiles, and... had their (our) data lost in a hack (oh and they didn't notify their users). Great idea, but I think the business management team needs to be replaced... really, who'd pay so much for such a poorly managed (great) idea with so little in return.

The concept is beautiful. It's just what a dating app should be - deep and meaningful. The execution, however, is not. A week on the app, and literally zero messages from anyone. You can only see 10 potential matches per day, and they're picked for you. If you're an atheist & say it's a dealbreaker, they'll provide you with Christians to choose from anyway (and vice versa. And you can only choose 3 of the 10. It just doesn't work.

Won't let me verify my email. I went through the trouble of setting up an account. But when I go to use the app, it asks me to verify my email address. I click resend multiple times, but the email never comes through. I receive password reset emails but not account verification emails. So annoying since this means I can't actually use the app.

I was active on the app for more than a year and updated several iterations of my profile (adding various "depth" as they call it,) and didn't have a single match. Even after trying premium, none of my messages sent got a reply. Tinder was at least marginally better in this regard. Great idea for a service, the execution didn't work at all for me.

Beautiiful they designed this app to return sincere depth in the more freely expressive & connection-developing format of old. If the superficial, judgemental, swipe left/right format doesn't seem right for you, this is worth a few months effort. It seemed at first to be highly inactive, yet gradually messages were read, likes were matched & the inbox began lighting up. Even the process is a mindful, patient practice. Developers have stayed on top of glitches & done very well. Much Thanks

Just got it. I see why it has only 1.9. as a rating. It hasnt been updated in 2 years, plus, the sight has about 14 filters for premium and non paying members get 3! Most sites make the filters free! Add that with what the others are saying .. you get 1.9 . Not to mention how they babysit us on the feed. They have to 'approve it' first. 😏

Sigh, easily one of the worst dating apps around. Constantly glitching, signing me out, not saving preferences, randomly changing preferences it seems, and the lack of members is pretty bad too. I was really hopeful and liked the idea behind it and tried a paid membership but it was so disappointing. I wouldn't bother with this.

1) INTENTIONAL delays in the name of mindfulness (the "Take a moment" page) that show up between every action you take on the app are not just pretentious n total sham, but also a detriment to the UX. There's probably not enough members so that could be part of the reason for the above, the other in my guess being that they're trying to avoid making it Tinder-like. But adding this annoying delay is the worst way to go. 2) You CANNOT upload photos in the app n have to go to the website for that. Pitiable.

I was unable to upload a profile picture. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times and restarted my phone. It continued to crash the app each time I tried. I could not move past this step in the set up process. However, otherwise I was very intrigued by this app. I will check back soon in hopes the but was fixed.

I think the intention of the app is great. I love the Profile Questions as well. BUT The app has bugs that have had me locked out for two+ weeks saying I need to confirm my email, which I have at least 10 times now. There's definitely not enough people on this app. You can only message if you've liked each other, and you can only like up to three people from the list of 10 it gives you every day. You can't search outside of the daily list of ten people without paying. Disappointing.

I really wish the makers would take all of these complaints into consideration and make some changes so the app could actually be useful. It's such a good idea but the restrictions for the free version are SO rigid (only 10 matches per day and can only like 3 of them, and so many of them are repeats I've seen and disliked over and over again). You can't see whose liked you, and you can only message someone unless you both have liked each other. So then you pay and discover no one is on anyway.

I tried it out with a free subscription for the first week. I emailed them with a request for an extension on the price. All I wanted was an extension to make sure that I liked it and I was refused. they told me to keep an eye out because there would be bargains coming up during February for Valentine's I assume but that never happened. I really like the app I love the concept. But I am hesitant.

I love the concept but this is one of the buggiest apps I've ever used. It glitches when I try to pick photos from my phone so I'm stuck with ancient FB photos, it doesn't save my answers to questions to my profile in the "surface" section so my profile is anemic, I had to force a workaround when I was trying to link my FB account, it won't save my work and education selections, etc. Don't ship this stuff guys until it works! I want to love this app but just can't. I'm on a Pixel 3 Android 9

cannot add photos. adding this - I appreciate the response from the team. I was interested in the concept of using this service, but apparently few others in my city were. I understand that there is a challenge to overcome when building a user base. The premium is costly so the app doesnt get over-run with sex-hungry men and turn into another okcupid or tinder. Plus a "mindful" audience is hard to find. There were very few women on here, most of which didnt actually seem "mindful"

It feels like walking around in a huge empty cave yelling, "Is anyone else in here?" I purchased one month to see if that made a difference but none of the messages I have sent have even been read. I think most people give up on this app because of this lack of interaction and that it has a lot of dormant profiles. It would be great if you could see when the person last logged on so you dont waste time messaging people who don't use the app anymore.

I get maybe 1 person to "swipe" on a week. App randomly makes me sign in again. Passwords I use don't work when this happens. Reset password button never sends email to reset password. After ignoring app for days, it'll log me in again automatically... Don't get notifications when I match or message with people, even though the options are enabled so I have to randomly check messages to see if people responded. I'm not going to send a support ticket. Read all the 1 star reviews and fix the app

Not even worth the free option. I had the free version for 3 months, never got anyone to meet in person, then paid for 3 months. It did not open more options, most on there don't respond which makes me think they are all empty profiles. I cancelled after a month and the closed my whole profile even though I paid for 3 full months. Very disappointed 😞

That this would be a really fun way to meet new like minded people. Nope, the absolutely worst and flawed. The concept is really cool and different but the execution in a money grab. You have to have a monthly plan which is expensive for there being little users otherwise your only option is to like three people a day and that's it. You can't see or do anything else. On top of that very shady people on here and poor systems in place to filter out.

Crickets and trouble uploading photos. Now I am trying to update my password to log in so I can cancel it. It keeps telling me an email has been sent so I can reset it, but there is no email. Tried several times. The cancellation FAQ gives info on how to stop payments through apple products only. I don't want to pay for this anymore. I want to cancel. Let me out!

The app is unstable and features appear and disappear at random. Trying to send a question crashes the app, and email to the address from the Play store has so far gone unanswered. Great concept, hope they start responding to the problems.

It's honestly astounding how poorly the app is made. A small part of my job is designing websites and the mistakes made in this app are inexcusable. Like having a banner telling you your premium membership is going to end on a certain date, which then covers up the text of a message when you try to type so you can't see what you're writing. This isn't a bug, it's just incredibly poor design. And there are many, many bugs as well. But at least those aren't blatantly obvious mistakes.

Absolutely a waste of time. Super expensive, but free version is worthless so there is hardly anyone using it. Profiles load slowly, and they even make you wait to consider a "mindful moment" about the person you just already decided to swipe left on. This app is a painful waste of time.

It unfortunate, i think this app has been abandoned. The people and connections are spot on however it is super slow and won't allow you to ad/change pictures & info. Great idea poor execution. I wouldn't pay to upgrade

I will not be renewing and honestly wish I could get my money back. Whatever you do, do not sign up for this terrible service. There is glitches with adding photos and although I live near a very large metropolis I am seeing the same people even with wide parameters set. It feels.... Empty. Like maybe those profiles are fake. No messages or matches. Sometimes the app doesn't even load. I would give this 0 stars if I could.
