Meezan Mobile Banking

Have been using this application in my phone for around 7 months and it was running fine, until now when it says that my phone is rooted and the software is compromised, in that same phone. Feels like it is a bug or something and needs fixing. Kindly fix it already. It's really frustrating not being able to use the application and carry out work !

The app is awesome simple and swift. The only option that felt missing is the control over e-commerce transaction sessions of debit card. Instead of calling the helpline to turn the session on. It should be done through app (like MCB app gives the option after verification from OTP). Otherwise, the experience is way better than any other banking app. Never had any issue whatsoever.

PLEASE DO CONSIDER THIS IMPORTANT FEATURE. The app is missing the basic security frature of transaction password. An extra, different password, saved in your database and not in the app, would make it secure for the users. Right now, IF SOMEONE, SOMEHOW MAKES IT INTO MY APP THEN THEY GOT ALL THE TRANSACTION AUTHORITIES AS WELL.

The app was working fine. Out of nowhere it gives error that device is rooted. Bo device update, no app update. This has happened for the second time. Update: the issue has been resolved. 👍

I'm updating my review because something going wrong with notification. Each time I opened the app a notification banner becomes a sticky note and after that I have no option rather than clicking notification or restarting my device. Such tricks are very harmful because they ruin user experience and will lead into frustrations ultimately uninstall the app. Please urgently resolve this issue. Thanks Hopefully as issue being resolved I will must must give this app 5 stars.

When I check the statement in the app, it would not show me the opening balance. Also it would be convenien for me to understand the statement if it showed me the remaining/available balance after each transaction,but it only shows the closing balance on the top (in the end). Do you want me to calculate in my mind how much amount I had on the day I started seeing the statement to find out if the statement is okay? Checked the statement for the first time in 3 months but it ended up annoying me.

Exceptional bank in all regards. Didn't have high expectations but it definitely exceeded that. The app is great easy to navigate. The international and local transfers are quick with no issues.

Easy to use and straightforward app, but if possible kindly add the option to activate the Debit Card for a limited time, after which it will automatically deactivate, because sometimes people forget to deactivate the card, so it's better to give the option in app to activate it for like 5-10 mins after which it will shut down automatically

Very good app. Just one thing, please add rechecking option, a confirmation before sending payments, and top ups. Currently, it sends the payment directly without promoting to check and confirm payment before sending. Thank you!

The worst bank I have experienced so far. I deposited 2 million pkr and after 2 months they disable my debit card without any reason. When I contact to help line, the representative was very unprofessional and they refuse to provide any help, although I provide all the necessary information to approve my identity. Aawful experience not recommend to anyone

A user friendly and easy to use,Very good app that is also run on low coverage area and with bad signals. I think developer should add more security features.

Fixed: Bug in recent update. Asks for app to be set as default payment app every time you open the app. App keeps running in background and cant get rid of app icon in notification bar. Fix it plz, recent update destroyed this app UPDATE: THANKS FOR FIXING THE ISSUE

Seamless experience, smooth and flawless app. The only feature that is missing is to subscribe mobile bundles via app. I really need that feature. I hope you'll consider my suggestion.

We are unable to download receipt of the transactions we make. This is a very prime feature and almost all finance related apps provide this function. I will be really thankful if you guys install this feature in your app. Thanks for the great work.

Everything is perfect about the app, its simple, very easy to use, hardly encounter any problems and overall meezan banking is incredible as well. But this new notification is really bothering me. I don't use tap and go feature and I don't want to set app as default either. But this notification keeps showing app even after closing app it stays in my notifications bar unless i 'force stop' the app.

I have been using this app for past 6 to 7 months amd everything was fine till this new update .. now it says my device is rooted/jailbroken but it is not i have checked on every app and all giving the status of not rooted only rootbeer is giving the status of rooted but my device is not rooted i am sure its a glitch in this new update.. i hope it will get fixed as soon as possible

It was working but now it says service not available due to technical difficulties. I have been trying since 2 months, i reinstalld the app many times but no result. SAME ISSUE

It's an easy to use app but lacks some basic facilities like updating CNIC renewal. Though the bank says the facility is available but I couldn't find it on the app anywhere.

Hey Meezan Devs, Once again, I am getting a pop-up message at the time of starting and after entering my credentials, it says, "Device Rooted/Jail Brocken" and so on. However my device has never been jail broken. You guys already fixed this issue before, now it came back. Kindly resolve this.

This app is really secure and smart for use but the only issue that me tired after restoring android fone every application is accessing through biometric except meezan bank app that is very hurting.I tried my best to register again & again but when it demands finger print command then application don't pick finger print.Username and password using to login and its working easily.

I am unable to recover my username. I put my Debit Card and PIN in the Forget Username section and it says "Username delivered to registered email" but I didn't get any mail. I tried this a few times but I still am not receiving anything! I also could not find a contact support online feature, that'd be very helpful in such cases.

Very quick. But needs more security such as OTP before the final transaction is done. If the mobile comes in wrong hands while logged in. OTP is the only security.

Perfect, and speedy app. Though very less options as compared to other banking apps. I like it's simplicity and ease of use.

1/2 Overall app is above average. Application always take time while searching beneficiaries. I don't know why. And I have limit exceeded problem, I tried many times and register complain but no result found. 2/2 Thanks for your respond, Email Sent

Dear you did not get my point, I am not talking about login, I am talking about having OTP validation when you try to send Money to someone. Just like other banking apps, trust me customers will be happy with secure app compare to easy to use app

One immediate issue I see is that at the opening of the app it tries to replace my default payment method, everytime. Thanks for the response. Good to know that developers are actively interacting. Hopefully it is added as an option in settings rather than asking 1 to 3 times.

Overall App execution is OK but I have been facing a notification issue since 3 weeks. There is a popup "Meezan Tap & Go" in my notification bar, I have tried several times to clear it but nothing works. When I tap on the notification, it suggests me to replace default payment app from google-pay to meezan-app which i do not want. How can i rid off this notification?

Excellent bank service in Pakistan . Transection fast , UI extraordinary , user friendly . Just add a functionality that show how much limit used and how much remain .
