I used to play mega jump on iOS iPhone 4. It's sad to see this game became a shell of what it once was. There's always been micro transactions... But there used to be unlockable and selectable world's. And more power ups that had a set upgrade colour scheme. It's lost all that. It's also become more colourful and intrusive with its ads. This was one of my favorite games. It's not even worth playing anymore :/
The original is just so much better. This version has unnecessary boosts and promotions that are added to gain variety when in fact they just severely hinder the gaming process. Also, the ad videos don't play and you need them to get onto next level sometimes so it's really frustrating. You can get stuck on a level not for skillrelated issues but system technicality. Not recommended!
Like other reviews, I agree this isn't as fun as the original. Many features don't work because they are linked to videos that never play (no ad revenue lol). Severely hinders game progress. There is only a scoring point system and the levels/top height high score system has been scrapped. There is almost no reason to continue to play this game without the max height high score.
I played the original version of this game years ago and had the sudden urge to see if it was still around. Hugely disappointed in the changes made to the game. It's visually clunky and just looks like all the other garbage game apps floating around. Just give us the older version of the game, please.
It doesn't save your progress even though you are signed in into Google play games. I spent 12k coins for 12 mega starts, completed half of the challenge, came back a few hours later, I have to do it again, but coins gone. I'm deleting it.
I really missed Mega Jump. For whatever reason, it's been off the store for years. Last played it somewhere around 2012 on an iPod touch. So when I saw this a few days ago, I was excited. Playing the game now, it is very different. So different that it doesn't touch the original. I'd love to see a seperate "classic" sort of game. All the missions and stuff are cool, but it doesn't have the same feel. And I don't like these new "enemies". Still, I give 5 stars for the game itself. It's fun.
The touch screen controls don't follow your finger well at all. The controls for tilting your phone are extremely stiff and unresponsive. The pretty colors and sound effects are nice though. Ultimately I would just bring back the real Mega Jump.
Very enjoyable game. However it's not saving my coins collected after every game played. This makes it impossible to save for powerups. Everytime I close the app it resets me to 170 gold and five gems even when I play for long amounts of time. Very frustrating.
Miss the old mega jump. That one was more intense and more addicting. If you died it felt more of a lost because you where trying to get through all the different new skies. Now they are just given. It's not bad but it's deffinatlly not the same.
I used to play this year's ago & it was really good (2015ish I think) then number 2 came out and the game was ruined I feel like the tokens need to go & you need to make it easier to get to the next stages, the games are always too short now I can't last more then a minute. But in all that this is I really do love this game. Gj. 💕
I remember this being a simple, relaxing game with straight to the point smooth gameplay and nice artwork. Now there are more obstacles to kill you and sell you revives, and a very cluttered UI full of the cancerous monetization that has ruined most other mobile games as well.
I love the game but it keeps erasing my challenge history when I close the app and come back to it after a few hours. Then I have to redo the same challenges I've already beaten. Also the "watch a video for more coins" does not work... the videos never load.
I'm tired of having to restart my missions every time I exit the game. The game seems to reset itself and I lose progress each time, meaning I have to start all over collecting items...disappointing! Please fix...
Fun toilet game. Played the original in school and had the highest score amongst all my friends. something I don't like about this is that once you set your high score you can't see it again until you beat it. I simple but to see your high score would be great.
Im going to give 3 stars im sorry but the old game was more amusing and appealing i actually was excited when the intro came in but notice the stages are different . It doesn't make sense it was better to continue to outter space . And i feel like its going to be boring playing the same stages . Idk its a good game but not as good as the original.
The gameplay is the same as the original one. But the graphics, I can't say it's bad but definitely not as good as the old one. And other comments are not exaggerating, it really slows down my phone, making scrolling lag.
Doesnt save progress. Such a disappointment to spend all that time collecting coins and doing missions, just for it to revert back to previous game play.
bring back stages mode from the old one it was so fun passing a stage to a new theme , also keep the old graphics and power ups , if it aint broke dont fix it.
The game crashes my system UI when i open my recently opened apps and i have played it recently there. Not gonna play the game until that bug is fixed.
The game is very fun. Or it could be. I had been playing this game for a while (About a month) and the next time I opened it, I found that ALL the data was remover from the game and I was back to square one. Please fix this because I love the game but I can't play it as much as I would like to.
It's not as good as the Original. This version is too cartoony and is more like a fan-made game. The original by "Get Set" had better levels and animations
I like this game but old mega jump is better than this couse there are levels , more powerful power ups and after you hit an enemy there is a second chance like hit a coin and go up again. this is the new game and should be better.
5 STAR. The best and only game I play these days thank you all.........but it has been forgetting alot of my game play as in a lose in coins and eggs and more everyday.... could please fix and or fix my lose up... Cheer
Wow, did this game bring back memories of what I suppose was the original, which I remember being so much better honestly. I went to go download it again but I guess they took it off. Too bad
Played the original a long time ago. It was the first game app I ever played and I loved it. If only the patterns of traps, buffs and stars where randomized but instead you always ended up doing the same course, which made the game boring after some time. So I thought this one would fix that and then some. Which would make it one of my favorite game apps on the mobile platform. Instead I find myself stuck at the logo screen... euhm.
