MegaCast Roku

Good app, now I can stream my videos to my tv in a easy way and enjoy them whith a large view.

Today was my daughter's birthday. She wanted us all to be able to watch a movie together on the tv that I had downloaded on my phone. It would work for awhile, then just stop responding. Every time it stopped responding, we had to reload the app and either rewatch what we had watched or wait for it to take forever to convert it to the point past where we were so we could fast forward. I have to give credit where credit is due though.... This is the only app like this that got to the 1 hour 8 minute mark in the movie. A lot were trying to force upgrades at 10 minutes or wouldn't even find the roku. We are going to have to wait to finish the movie till tomorrow now since it is so late. If you fix the app so you can convert your downloaded videos and them stay converted till the movie is finished or fix the bugs that make it quit responding and I will give you a 5.

Effortless media conversion - AWESOME! Only app I found that does that, isn't restricted to specific media folders, and was totally hassle-free using with Roku. I am very glad I finally found this - 2 days of installing, testing, and uninstalling other apps. Worth it! Hope this saves someone else that effort!

It seemed great and played my downloaded videos pretty quickly but after about 15-20 min into the video it would drop completely. We couldn't get back to our spot, it would only restart to the beginning every time we tried to fast forward. Gave up after this happened 3 times in a row. Very disappointed!!

Great potential. Still working out some bugs for stability issues it seems. Using LG v10. App works fairly well. Streams perfectly, however will often drop out of movie to load and crashes eventually. Trying to use the Roku remote to fast forward never works and results in "video failed to play" message. So I'm left with the option to rewatch an entire movie from the beginning multiple times during viewing. Have not made it through a whole movie yet with it as this glitch is a hard one to be patient with. This app does, however play seemingly any video file type. Now if it were only stable for longer than 5 to 15 minutes at a time...good look Dev team. It needs some work but the potential is definitely there.

Ended up paying for the premium version so it wouldn't shut down after so many minutes into a movie but the paid version does the same thing after 45 minutes to an hour in and you can't fast forward to the part where it stopped,you have to start from the beginning.I should of stuck with the free version and saved my money

Confusing to hook up then there is so much lag I'll stick with Netflix and other websites that are free unless I'm doing it wrong my android wouldn't hook up but the iPhone did but it stops and lags all the time lol just start selling HDMI too micro usb nd problem solved

It does work. It randomly pops up which is kind of odd. I think it would be good to load up an old phone with tons of movies. I'm not sure i want it on my main phone anymore. But it's definitely convenient.

Downloaded, looked promising (hoped to cast videos from another player), purchased premium Roku, keeps disengaging from Roku Express 3700 and app crashes. Would like a refund please!

I have a Roku Express, needed an app that would allow me to Cast downloaded files from my Android Phone. I eventually found this app. AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

I give up. Just installed latest update today. The app is worse. Now videos take forever to process and only play for 2 minutes before the app freezes. I am done. Good luck with this one.

I used to love this app, but all of a sudden every video I try to cast to my Roku it will try and load and then just go back to the main Roku menu. Using same Roku, phone and videos. Please fix

Loved this until I started playing longer videos. App just quits working, and then you have to start from the beginning again. Was going to purchase the premium version but not now.

Works good unless you fast forward, it keeps saying playback failed or video failed to play. Then you have to start it all the way from the beginning!

Useless does not work.using it on samsung J5 v6.0.1 on latest ROKU streaming stick 3800X. Apps couldn't detect the Roku.

Only works for one minute then stops playing completely. What a huge DISAPPOINTMENT!!

Save your money, just cast from your phone to the display or use a smart link view button in your drop down menu.

Roku Stick returns to home screen immediately when transcoding begins. Can't cast anything. =(

I was very skeptical but it worked! I was actually able to stream an .avi from my phone to a Roku TV! I have yet to find an app that can do that. I just hope it keeps working

Doesn't work. Every video on my phone says unable to play. Can't even cast internet.

I payed for the app then it stopped working.. Refund my money please..

TRASH!!! Doesn't work properly it won't start up half the time and it won't work when it opens and it makes my device freeze..

I have a new Roku box and it doesn't even find it on same network absolutely rubbish it should say cast to NOTHING!!! Thank God I didn't purchase it
