Megaplex Mobile

Had a little stretch of trouble with the app working for a time, which I discovered wasn't at all theaters, but it's working perfectly now and better than ever. Can easily order tickets and choose seats in advance, and have a concession order ready to go. My only problems aren't the app itself, but individual theaters' use of it. One forgets the app line sometime, and another won't let you order concessions before a particular time even if there are movies starting before then. But love the app!

⭐ Simply just the worst app. It auto-logs me out. Password recovery feature (in-app) does not work because while the app does not recognize my phone number and email, the website via computer (only) does. I do not carry my laptop with me at all times and the entire purpose for having an app is for "on-the-go". The app will auto-log me out by the time I next decide to visit the theater. Gross incompetancy!!!

Terrible app! It is basically a website inside an app. Selecting my seat was far too difficult just to select your seat. Regale app is far better than this one. I'm always disappointed in anything LHM does. Service and the customer are always last. Money and cheap product prevail! Regal here I come!

I love being able to order food and tickets but twice now I have requested the food be prepped and arrived only to arrive and have to wait for them to look it up and prepare it. If they don't want to do that, it's fine but don't make it an option if your not going to do it.

It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work . this is the first time the app has ever given me problems and doesn't wanna regonized my password at all, it took me like five passowords to get back on my app. You really need to fix the login problem.

App is really spotty, not the most reliable or dependable to work when you need it. Very low functionality and basic, seems that's by design, if so then it's just an ok app. Would be nice to see more features added so you didn't have to go to the megaplex website for certain things. 2 stars for now, would be happy to up my stars tally when some upgrades and updates happen. Thank you!

In the months I've had the new Megaplex app, I have yet to get it to work at all. First I couldn't even log in...tech support even had trouble getting it to. Since then, everytime I try to use it, it tells me to check my internet connection. Doesn't matter if I'm connected to wifi or just using phone data, it simply doesn't work. So frustrating!

I have used this app for a while now. It was pretty good, except for the lack of ability to use points to pay for stuff, but I used it regularly to buy tickets without a "convenience" fee. Sadly, it hasn't worked since the recent updates. I even reinstalled it to see if that would fix the issue. It opens, but says it can't connect and no showings are visible. I hope it gets fixed soon. Until then, 1 star.

This is the worst app for movie ticketing. I have multiple apps for movies on my phone and this is by far the most finicky, gives the most errors, and gives the least amount of helpful text when there are issues. I've also called different when the app wasn't being cooperative with issues like my tickets not showing up in the purchased area or the app continually saying that it can't can't reach the movie theater and they said "the app is hard go-to the website". Skip this one.

Usually great, occasionally gets stuck and the Google pay sometimes errors out. If they fixed these bugs, would be perfect!

Quick and easy way to check shows and book your ticket. Not intrusive. One of the few app that remains on my phone.

If you are having issues with the app after the last update, clear the app data and cache and sign in again. After doing this the app started working just fine for me. Only giving 4 stars since it looks like it's still a work in progress. I mean there is a reward option labeled "TEST" on the list.

Update 10/6/18 They finally got the login issue fixed and so I am able to log in and the app is very nice. however, the gift card system still is not able to work. the message that I was getting from the app was that the gift card number was not in the system and so I thought that it was because the card I have been using is over two years old I went and swapped it for a brand-new gift card. I still get the same error. The only reason that I bought a gift card was so that I could buy tickets without a convenience online fee. 9/21/18 Newest update still doesn't fully link the login account to the reward number. If it does, it doesn't act like it. Also, it won't accept ANY gift card, new or old. "Can't find the number" is what I get. Frustrating is the word that describes this app. I bet you've lost thousands and thousands in revenue because of it.

This is the most pointless app. There is no reason to purchase movie tickets in it because it will never load the tickets. Every time we have tried to use the app to purchase tickets. When we click on purchases, it just tells us we do not have an internet connection. If we click the link in the email, it just buffers and never loads the tickets or QR code. Avoid the app.

Suggestion: the old app had an option to add to calendar when I bought tickets. The new one doesn't. I'd like that feature back. Update: login is working now. Thanks! (Upgraded to 3 stars) Petty bare bones. Wish I could redeem my points from the app instead of having to go to a separate website. Original: C'mon Megaplex, get it together! Tired of not being able to log in. (1star)

This app was fine until they decided to go and overhaul the damn thing. I reset my password on the website and verified that my login was correct. Well for some reason I cannot log into the app for the life of me. I like going to Cinemark, but megaplex is more convenient.

Does exactly what I want it to. Easy to order food and select seats and use points.

Great app! It would be even better if they would have descriptions of the different seating types in the app and on the website. I find it hilarious that they treat each of their seat types as important trademarked brands, but yet have nowhere where they describe the difference between them.

i enjoy the app, but the last update completely broke the only things that worked well. After the developer response, I cleared my data and now the app works fantastically. Just bought a ticket and everything seems hunky dory. I like the new way of handling reward points, but I think the app really needs to show the points exchange values somewhere.

Needs work. Has potential. The latest edition keeps erroring out on Google Pixel 3 when we try to login. It gives an erroneous message about the phone # and password that works fine their website being wrong. Lacks ability to send feedback and support requests from the app.

Had a bit of an issue getting to load theater & show listings when app was 1st updated. After uninstalling & reinstalling several times & nothing worked I left it uninstalled. I got a msg from the developer & I reinstalled it. After I logged in, it finally loaded & everything seems to be working okay now.

Update needs major improvement. The birthday calendar starts in 1894 and you can only move forward month to month. You cant sign out and there needs to be a way to combine previous mobile and web accounts. App now correctly syncs with edited info on the web. Theater information now shows. And the new reward redemption is now easier to redeem.

Update! Figured out the password issue. Can't change my phone number on app, so if that's wrong or home phone number used for previous rewards, password change only works if that old phone number is used. Dumb system, it's like not being able to change a username. App works fine if you can log in.

This app is STILL a complete failure. I was forced to update to continue using the app and now, after the update, purchases that I made in the app for upcoming shows no longer show up under purchases. Clearly a huge problem. Waiting to hear back after submitting the issue to guest services.

This app always signs me out. And freezes saying my "session is expired" even if I have just signed in ... and redirects me to "sign back in" but then wont let me sign back in. It just spins and loads. So I am redirected back to the website anyway. Lame . I have tried uninstalling it reinstalling too.

Love the new app! Love that I can select my favorite local theaters and it will show me showtimes just for those theaters but all at the same time so I don't have to look up each theater one by one. Love that it links automatically to my mega rewards account! Great improvements!! Thank you!!!
