Mein ELBA-App

The app runs stable on my (2020) Android tablet. PUSH TAN works ok. IBAN scan and transfers are quick to do. However there are so many things missing. For example you can't copy nor can you see the IBAN of old transactions. Also the app knows ONLY contacts and data you entered on this exact device and with you account. (sharing my bank account with my wife means the transaction contacts she sends to are not known nor saved on my app and i have to manually enter these informations myself).

the app does not allow for notification settings. there are too many notifications. the interface is very poor, no options, not many settings, menu is extremely non intuitive. if the app is open, and i am doing a transfer on my pc, the app does not receive the tan conformation code, i have to close it, cancel the transfer and do it again.... many more issues, the app is genuinely poor, and does not reflect modern banking, and options that an app should have

Not very happy with the new features. If before i was easily able to do all necessary payments from my phone, because of push tan I cannot do that anymore. No transfers are possible from the phone, i need my PC. I find it very inconvenient as normally the phone is all you have on the go. Now for me this is useless. Dissapointed...

did not work, all I got was the picture of a landscape with no functionality, no response to my E-mail from developer.***update*** i received feedback after 8 weeks from Raika, the error is fixed and it is possible to see the acount balance BUT i attempted to transfer money and although I went thru the process twice (including push tan) no transfer was done. i had to use the old app and it worked without any problem

After the last update it is asking me to enter my push tan code without displaying the keyboard. This completely locks me out of using online banking. Apart from that I am very unhappy with the app. That it is not working on rooted devices is one big issue and there are missing features that are only available through a browser. As others have mentioned as well, this app is really making me think about changing my bank.

Easy to use, its a useful app to have. Customer service very flexible and helpful

Update: for two days the App has shown wrong figures by credit card. Many phone calls to clarify. Raiffeisen never apologized. In genersl the new Elba App is a nightmare. My phone failed to pass the safety check. Has taken time to prepare the phone. Raiffeisen phone support is harsh. They communicate upside down. The old App has been much more better...

Does not want to work on rooted phones, this is on purpose, but still stupid (every other app solves this by displaying a warning, instead of crashing). EDIT: in response to the official answer: you seem to mix up the users and the banks security. Rooting a phone isn't something done by just some button-pushes.

Works on 5 year old phones that never get updates and are horribly insecure, but if I install the latest lineageos with newest security fixes, I can't use the app because "custom rom's are insecure? What a poor excuse. Custom rom's are the only way to keep old phones secure because phone vendors don't provide updates. Update: It works when I install Magisk. So I have to install a shady app to trick ELBA to work on my secure lineageos phone. So much for caring about security. What a joke

The update only made it worse. I can understand for sake of security you now need a push tan for each login. This is ok, but what's the point when the app only works 2 out of 10 times. It also made the login on the website very difficult, as it has a dependency on the app.

Doesn't work on rooted phones/custom roms. It's trivial to make it believe it's not rooted (Magisk Hide), but the overstepping of boundaries is not something I'm willing to tolerate. I'm considering to switch to a bank that doesn't presume to police what OS I have running on my own phone. Update: 3 months later, situation remains unchanged. Update, since the developer responded, acknowleding the app is garbage and won't get better any time soon: lel

yeah ... still waiting for that sms tan to actually use that thing.... tried 3 times but it simply does not work. never had a problem with receiving the smstan doing it via normal elba. are you serious dear raiffeisenbank to first force this thing down our throats and then not even having it functionial? edit: ok... the sms-problem was another problem... i give you a pass on that one. if it is true that it does not work on rooted devices it is still a desaster personally since i heavily rely on rooted devices and so do many others.

awful experience, half from the time the service is not available due to unknown reasons, once enter the Pin says it is incorrect, twice entering the same pin it is correct, and this one star is too much..

It seems like the app is only working at business hours. Whenever I try to login at night, it won't work. Just add a cronjob which restarts the services and let the intern do something more useful.

Is it possible to mask the disposer value in a future version of this app in the login screen? If someone watches (or films) the login (incl PIN entry) the unmasked display of the disposer only gives out information without it being necessary. The fact that disposer+PIN can be leaked through observation of a simple login is not necessary and might be security relevant.

App is horrible, cant access at all to it even do my bank is telling me that everything is correct with my account and my ELBA ,you are sending me TAN but I can't do anything with it . Second app doesn't have English version, and it is useless if you don't speak German. And dear Raiffeisen bank if you are answering on reviews please be kind and answer on English

After the new update i cannot access my account. When I am asked to enter my push tan I can't enter anything. There is no num-pad... just the button with "I forgot the number" Thank you for the Help. It worked. Now I can't log in again.

Quite a bit of work left. The app makes me double sign everything. Why do I need to sign again if 30s ago I just signed for the login? Also app incorrectly claims that jailbroken OS is unsafe and then goes on to incorrectly recognise my vanilla android as unsafe. Get rid of that junk feature.

This is a disaster....can no longer access account from laptop and the message for this hopeless ap tells me it needs updating...although only installed two days ago! No reaction when attempting to "update" ... no longer able to follow my account nor make transfers. Also told by young arrogant "adviser" that the law does not allow "old people" to overdraw their accounts, even for a week ( obvious lie as a friend 5 years senior was given an overdraft on asking) I am ready to close account.

It's getting logged out itself and not only that after that push tan only works if I uninstall and reinstall app. I mean this is ridiculous. Wastage of time and I ain't even getting notified about it. I mean if I won't check I won't even know that I have to again uninstall and reinstall.

Way too basic functionalities. Compared to the predecessor I can't filter within the account movements. Plz bring this back, it is a pain to scroll trhough all the account movements, if i want to find a certain withdrawal/income.

I need to sign up (account number, region etc) from the begining each time I start app. Is this normal? Beside that, it seem that there are no major issues so far. Updating did not help.

Very very bad app and Raiffeisenbank is more or less forcing you to use the app if you want to manage your money outside the banks physical building. Time to switch to another bank.

Little bit slow but otherwise works. Edit: A function to quickly delete or "mark as read" your mailbox messages is missing.

Worst banking app ever! Lack of mandatory and needed features, poor User Interface and worst security system ever (pushTan). Thinking about quiting this bank, Raiffeisen IT infrastructure is becoming worse and worse!

Is there no widget for the new app? I liked with the old one that I could always see my account balance without having to log in. Can this be included please? Otherwise, a very functional app. Easier to use than the old one.
