Life is easier with this app you dont have to do anything. You have everything on app and its so helpful. Only one little dislike for app is that you can not change language i think to eng it would be helpful for guys like me, guys who have just came to Germany.
I am trying to log in on the my account thru the app but it is always crushing. I have already updated it, log out and log in but it I can't still open the app.
Update 11/01/2022: same error as last year (1/1/21) keeps happening. Impossible to login, as I'm asked to accept some info, which brings me back to the login page, and then starts the same loop. Solution: uninstalled and installed the app again. Which now I need to wait for a letter (ever heard about sms codes?) with an activation code to log into the app. Sooo waiting/waisting time to use an app.
In order to just register you have to go through awefull web id process, using WebID - which doesn't work. I had to in the end finish process via mail. Which lasted good 2 weeks (even they said it will takr couplenof workdays). Finally when I was able to login, app crashed on load. 9 TIMES I tried. Basically Im thinking of chanching the whole health insurance of how bad the process have been!
Unfortunately, I couldn't register. For more than a week, it keeps saying an internal error occurs. Or that the code received by sms is not correctly written. Which is annoying and false. Can not use it. Waste of time.
I find it convenient to be able to hand in all of my documents instead of having to go to the business office. I do wish that electronic prescriptions would hurry up and get here

To my surprise, the app is very nice and the response time from AOK team is amazing!
Very fast and easy to understand the feature. I like it.
UX is so bad for password reset there's 4 input. You just need one email id or a id number for it. What if somone forgot username? How to retrieve?
Simple and practical. It would be nice to merge the functionality of all AOK apps in 1 app. Nobody wants multiple AOK apps.
Would be nice if had English language option too.
Edit: The reply to my review shows an immense lack of cryptographic understanding. Reduced rating to 1. Password and user creation is a nightmare. Even from an entropy point of view password guidelines are simply nonsensical. Application login does not save typed in data when switching the app, which is especially annoying combined with nonsensical password restrictions, that don't even allow high entropy due to the length restriction. In the end I still prefer the app over Deutsche Post.
Easy and uncomplicated.
One installs an app in order to avoid paperwork, to be able to quickly solve issues etc. This app doesn't launch until YOU GET A CODE PER POST!!!! One inserts all personal data, including own email but this is not enough...one must wait 3-4 days to get access code PER POST!!! typically slow German service :( :( ...no wonder people don't download & use mobile apps around here 😏
It's quite simple and straightforward to use. Takes some time to register but very useful
If there were a -5 star option, i would have chosen that. This app is literally a piece of junk. It has no option for changing the language from German to English. No hint is given that how can i link Google fit to this app and also the registration process is such difficult like if you are registering for some NASA project. This app is a Complete failure. The older AOK app was perfectly good and easy to use but this new meine Aok is a complete nonsense.
Can't believe how much security steps are behind this app and the most ironic thing about it is that they allow only 12 letters for password?! Using the app you are constantly interuppted with verification. Banks have less complicated security measures than this app. This looks to me like IT department wanting to flex their "skills" without considering the end user of the app. I'm pretty sure that a person with average IT skills is not even gonna be able to setup the app.
The app is good and helpful, but since you are having a lot of expat clients, its makes sense to have English option also of the menu. Cheers!

Takes some time to sign up but once in use, managing and using the app is quite simple and everything gets explained. It makes a lot so much easier.
It is quite good, but if you also had few information in english (in the app), it would be very helpful for the people like me. It is very hard for the people who started new in germany. Few important information in english (app) is not a big ask.
I haven't been able to log into the app, Called and was told the site is under maintenance, low and behold everyone else's app seems to be not under maintenance. This company seems to not be foreigner friendly. I've Called them when trying to see about my krankinshine and had the workers hang up on me 25 times while writing down all the names of the staff who hung up on me because i am not very good at the German language. Was never paid for my kinderkranenshine. Wouldn't recommend.
Very good app, yuo can send and receive all your messages immediately. Iam very satisfied
It seems good! all necessary options are available to do digitally. Still few things can be better.
Impossible to log-in. I receive a pop-up, that there have been an internet error. However my internet connection is working without any issues.
1. I think that would be great if we had English language for this application, because most of the users are international students and it's really hard to work with it when do not know German yet. 2. It's really necessary to provide the possibility of online payment of balances via Meine AOK and also see the status of the contribution in the case of debts. Regards
