The eighth edition of the T-N-M classification of the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) entered into force in 2018, aimed at improving the prognostic stratification of melanoma.
The calculation of the melanoma stage may not be simple. MelApp is a support app that helps to orient quickly and precisely between the complex tables of the AJCC.
By simply selecting the items from a drop-down menu, set according to the criteria of the AJCC tables, MelApp also allows you to identify the three T-N-M parameters.
By crossing the three values obtained, the final result, parameter S, will be a contribution to determine the stage of the lesion as identified by the AJCC tables suggesting the possible follow-up indications.
