Left your printed tickets at home?
The app stores all your ticket barcodes on your device regardless of how you purchased (web, phone or in-person). Door staff can scan your ticket right from your device's screen.

This app is a mess. Frequent logouts and no way to remove things from the wishlist meaning that i have to scroll through every session of a VR thing. (Please tag VR and shorts on the main program list). No confirmation that something has been added to the wishlist and the instructions about the wishlist have wrong information. (Last year's?) Havent even tried the ticketing yet but this doesnt bode well
Still pretty clunky and not entirely user friendly. Certainly still more convenient though and when some issues have been fixed, should be most popular during the festival. Only a shame that the new design and features still feel a little rough.
Intuitive, clear, flexible - the only issue is the filters. I had trouble filtering by genre or category, and ended up either searching for keywords or filtering by strand (which worked very well).
Absolutely terrible😈 the choice of classification was appalling compared to previous years. The cart and wishlist weren't working. And the webpage was just add bad. Why change something that worked😈😈😈😈 As a result i will not be attending this year
Barely useful. Wishlist contains every film in the festival! No way to add tickets to calendar (serious problem). No way to share entire booking.
The clock time display is ridiculous. Either use a 24-hour clock or don't. In Australia the correct way to display time is with a full stop not a colon UNLESS you are writing in actual 24-hour time mode. Your "06:00pm" is nonsensical. And confusing. also searching by date is hopeless in this app. One has to scroll through EVERY FILM LISTING FROM THE FIRST DATE OF THE FESTIVAL EACH TIME. Ridiculous.
Great informational app that allows you to find films, read details, watch trailers, book, exchange and show tickets, and then rate films. Fantastic!
Terrible app. The search function is ineffective and browsing by date is really scrolling just scrolling by date. Use the website instead.
The app is like being trapped in a horror film, using it is like being stuck in the shower scene from Phsyco and the only way I survive is by describing how confusing it is to the killer and they instead start screaming uncontrollably and kill themselves instead.😵
Such an amateur app: not only is it not optimised for Android devices ( text lines merging in shopping carts make ticketing a challenge ) And the wishlist function is unusable! Mobile access is pivotal to 21C business ...So find a better developer who understands UI or lose a lot of potential customers MIFF!
basic functionality, does the job but can be clunky in the search function and when looking at film times.
OK for buying tickets and consulting the agenda. But impossible to add tickets to "My Tickets" which were not bought through the app but at the cinema => impossible to vote! No technical service available.
5 stars? what was i thinking? i admit reviewing rashly before really testing e.g. search function does not work, "heart" system to mark films of interest before booking is gone, replaced with far less useful tool. A fix would be good.
If there's a sensible way to find a movie and when it's on, I can't find it. The most essential function you would expect this app to have, just doesn't work.
really poor design very unintuitive and extremely frustrating to use. you'd think after so many years of this festival they could get this app right

too many failings in search and purchasing routines. youve had years to refine this get it right and lock it down
Fix the search function. Can't search by country. There are too many movies to sift though
If it had a way of sharing your entire list with your friends it would be perfect
Why can't we search via country of origin this year? Instead of improving on last year, this app has become less user friendly!
Unstable, crashes a bit and not always easy to use.

Why isn't this app better after so many years to get it right? Here are a few annoying issues. No link to My Tickets on home page. It embarrassed me on first use at cinema, by making me log in when supposed to be always logged in, also happened to friends. Search by film name (using search icon) just doesn't work. And finding a film by name in the program list requires a lot of scrolling. Actually 3 stars is generous! UPDATE logged-in on website on ipad, much better than Android phone app.
