Mematic - Make your own Meme

Edit: it's actually pretty good now and I use it semi frequently, I just want to keep my original, unecessarily scathing review up cuz I thought it was funny: "It's not well optimized at all. This is a very low effort meme maker and I suggest printing out and taping paper together for better results than this."

I'm still learning the software, but so far the results seem professional (and I was an ad and brochure creator for over 20 years). Are there any design or texture backgrounds somewhere? Can you please add border types, like multi-line, inverted corners, etc. These would encourage me to go pro. Also, the ability to flip the side-by-side one to black on the left, photo on the right and to adjust the width of the blackness would be helpful, as the person I'm quoting is facing to my left.

it's ok for really basic memes but you can't even upload gifts, and there's no faq for when it doesn't work. also to get support you have to go through some kind of process even though I have a small question. tldr, good for the basic memes but anything beyond that isn't there.

Completely a waste of time! When you try to make a meme, there's only like a little amount of options, the rest you have to pay for. It was just fine with ads before but now you have to pay! If you want to find a actual meme maker you need to find a one with no payments. It's to expensive I mean like 450/mo?! And only 9 formats!? I suggest you should find a free meme maker unlike this greedy app that wants to rip people off. I wish there was less then one star. This needs fixing. 😠 😡

Great app. The only problem is the Pro Version. If you remove it I will change it 5 star. Good job!

I've own this app for years, and now they need to be paid monthly... I don't like that, I paid once when this app just had the one time fee and now you pay them like child support. I want my legacy stuff I had before when it was epic and I was on it all the time, I don't got time to pay you ya know. I'd put 2 stars but I still like the app, and hopeful I will get to use it without a freaking watermark, that's why I paid before, don't do what Netflix is doing... be better lol, but I know, money.

Upgrade to pro for half the layouts and remove their watermark. I'm good. There are other editors out there. I'll use those... Or use one online... Or make one on my computer.. I'm not limited to paying for an editing app.

Good but could have a permanent membership price. Other than that the app is the best!

Straight forward app easy to use and not too bad in aize. Uderstandibly most of the nicer effects and fonts are only for paying customers bug feel very limited in the free version.

A very good app for making memes, very high quality, good formats. And unlike most apps with pro features, its still fun to use without pro. My only issue is it would be nice to change from different modes while browsing meme formats. Other than that, this is a great app!

Great app👌,the only problem I have with it is that most features are unlocked by purchasing the premium but even with the few ones, you can make incredible memes with this.edit:with the longer templates I can't hit continue making me unable to use them.please help devs

Nice app really good it's a little difficult at the start but it's still good flawless keep up and add a lot of updates and lots of features plus I advise you that in a update the additional components should be 25 mb and add more

Good, works fine, it is a little concerning how my creations come to life but that's character so 5 stars.

This is a great app. But there is so much room for improvement. I suggest that the library contains more meme images. The quantity is very underwhelming. It would be great that you keep a popular tab as well as a separate larger library. If there were a way for me to pay $2.00 to remove ads and the "made with mematic" stamp, I would do it in a heartbeat.

This app is great! It's quick to use and has an easily understandable UI. The variety of templates is great, and enough features are free that you don't need to buy Pro. Only reason I rated 4 stars and not five was the menu of templates. The search function doesn't seem to work perfectly, so navigating it is a bother, but otherwise a perfect app.

For what it is, Mematic is a pretty intuitive meme maker for the average consumer. In no time flat, you will be able to make a stellar meme to top the popularity charts. One strong criticism about the app currently is that I feel a bit too many features are locked behind a subscription pay-wall. While it does seem intuitive to remove full screen ads, having the subscription fee feels like a hinderence to the app. I'd suggest letting people access a few more fonts and colours in the free version

Android version fails to deliver. Recently upgraded from an iPhone 6 to a Samsung S20 Ultra. Of course with a change that drastic, you'd expect the apps to be just as amazing... Nope. Mematic for Android is literally the pre-alpha version of the Mematic that iOS has. It ONLY has 3 pre-made templates from where you can choose to put your text (iOS version has a "free" mode). You also CANNOT search for meme templates and have to choose from about 20 pre-selected memes. Absolutely horrible. .

Very hard to customize. It would be nice to change the text font and placement, not just the size. Adding text at the top leaves way too much white space when not writing a whole paragraph. No capability to merge images or ar least collage images together. No capability to crop or resize. Very little flexibility.

It's fine, it gets the job done, it's what everyone uses but the biggest problem I have with it is the fact that switching from an iPhone, the iOS version had a much better interface, nicer font (not that it matters), and much more customisability and what you can do with the memes. It's just not fair to Android users.

Not an easy app to use, you can only use a very basic template unless you subscribe! All it want is your money. Uninstalled.

It used to be an add could be watched to unlock colors, fonts, etc. Now the only optia a rediculously high fee. Time to look for a replacement. My time with this app has been long, with both iOS and Android. But it looks like it's time is up. Yeah, I've seen the pre-written response, but the subscription price is too high. Do a flat rate like in iOS, that might be worth it. But you've ruined a once great app.

Very Cool, Been sending memes on reddit using this. Whoever made this is the coolest person ever. Although would like more templates, might be asking too much though.

It works well, but you cant use videos or gifs. When i tried, it was only an image of the first frame.

This is a very good app if you are looking to make memes!! I downloaded it yesterday and I love it. It is great. It supports many meme templates and you can create your own! There is also no ads.

It's a great app with a good user interface and a wide selection of memes, and even without Pro, there's still a lot you can do.

Great features. Editing is easy. Free version is awesome but pro version seems worth it, I might upgrade soon.

I love this app even though it's limited (for free). The font is meme worthy, some nice templates to make it easier and if you know what you're doing you can make some dank memes here 🙏

There's this one but in the app. Everytime I select an image I get teleported back to the menu. IT'S SO FRUSTRATING.

Not too many ads. Good to make memes that you can share to your friends . It's super easy to make memes you get all the tools and templates. I can create memes in less than 1 minute using memeatic best meme making app.
