App itself isn't too bad. However, it has very low bandwidth. Making matters worse, they blame us. It says, "Your connection is slow, but we're going to keep trying." Aww, thanks! But my connection most certainly is NOT slow. I'm on blazing fast 5G, most apps run at about 35megs/sec. I watch the connection speeds. When I connect to this, it drops to 2k/sec. So the message is a LIE & app doesn't work for your customers. Simple solution: buy some more bandwidth, its cheap. And change that message.
It was a great banking app. I was able to transfer into different accounts as needed but now there are many issues. Now it freezes on the loading screen, doubles what I am transferring into accounts incorrectly, and freezes when trying to navigate. Tried closing out and re-installing the app but it did not work. Very disappointed as I work all day and need better mobile access.
5/4/2021: Getting better. Use to have loading issues regularly. But the last update seems to have resolved that. It could use some refinement though. Looks a little bit like an "early 2000's" website. But it is pretty functional. 10/9/2021: More improvements have been made and it's definitely noticeable. Seems much more stable and consistent. Keep up the good work. If you can, in the near future, offer a dark mode/theme?
This app is mostly functional, but is full of strange behavior. I found a bad bug recently when I used the app to deposit a large check. I got a "check deposited successfully" message. However, I had to call twice to find out there is a limit on the amount you can deposit on mobile. I would have expected an message telling me this... instead the money just never appeared. For a financial app, this sort of thing is inexcusable. This is only one of many bugs I've seen.
Pretty much just as usable as the desktop website. Commercial services such as ACH setup work fine on the app. Timeout is a little short and not configurable, and Email alerts don't give amounts so you HAVE to log in. They also need to improve the commercial paper statement, but other than that the app, the desktop and the credit union is the best of the six credit unions I've dealt with. Easier to keep an eye on your money like most banks. So many great features to do without going to the bank. Just wished you had more bank out of my. Pleasant.
this app makes me change my password so often I'm going crazy. I understand it's supposed to be for security, but it will be less secure when I have to put the new password in a note on my phone because I can't use passwords I remember anymore. I shouldn't have to call the tech every time my password changes because it's so hard to keep up with which one I'm on and I can't reuse old ones. otherwise this would be a 5 star review.
Easy to maneuver through the app and I love that you can check your credit score !!!
This app, while not great, used to work with a frequency that was at least semi convenient. The most recent update has rendered this app basically useless. That may be an exaggeration, but I receive error messages more than actually being able to accomplish anything.
Works great and has everything I need on it! Any issues get fixed almost immediately.
Horrible security. Doesn't work with any modern security utilities like faceID or the Android equivalent. Fingerprint security is laughably inconsistent. Doesn't work properly with Google password manager either. Displays my password clear as day when I log in. The app still isn't as bad as the CU itself, however. Poor customer service practices, constant inconveniences, etc.
this is one of the worst apps I have on my phone not even joking half the time I can't even get into it when I can get into it it freezes and I have to restart my phone because it does nothing but sit there and think when it is working properly I have to enter information multiple times to get it to do what I want and then if I'm lucky it won't kick me out but usually it does and I have to restart all over again please fix the issues with the app or I have to go to another bank or Credit Union ty
This app crashes more times than Facebook . Unreliable bank would not recommend this bank they flag everything as fraudulent activity even payments you have been making for months .
so many glitches. getting locked out... showing incorrect balance on more than one occasion... not being able to make transfers for unexplained reasons... this app is very frustrating to me. I don't like it, it needs work.
Either the app or an employee at MFCU is holding my larger deposits when I use mobile check deposits. I've called. I've emailed. I'm about to change to another financial institution. When I called they blamed the app. But all of a sudden, just moments after I spoke to them, the deposit showed up. This time I haven't been able to call yet. But if the money "magically" shows up when I do, I'll be making a report to whoever I need to report it to and then take my business elsewhere.
Needs work. WONT LOAD AND WONT LOAD ON THE ONLINE BANKING THROUGH BROWSER EITHER. SEVERAL INSTANCES. Displays incorrect balance from time to time. Should be convenient, not frustrating. I would love to see improvement so it no longer is just a waste of time.
It takes forever for the log-in screen to load. And after I try to log-in it still won't process the action for at least a minute or two. Even in perfect cell signal.
This used to be a great app, but the last 6 months there have been too many bugs for the mobile check deposit feature. It makes it very inconvenient to drive a half hour or 45 minutes to make a deposit. It used to work great before the last few updates.
Convenient and wayyyy better than nothing. It's a decent banking app and I can say having been a user for over a year that they continually work on it. Also has a finger print unlock option, so that's sweet!
Terrible for mobile deposits. Most of the time it tells me to write "For MFCU mobile deposit only" on the check. That's what's written and it still kicks it out. If the kinks would get worked out, it may be worth it. Most of the time the app doesn't even load.
Only thing I don't like is how often you reset the password.

Member Request: Please add push notifications for everytime a debit card transaction goes through. Discover has this feature with their credit cards and it really makes me feel better when I am notified that a transaction has been processed.
Its pretty easy to navigate but im ild and i have to get help alot to do things or find things. But its nothing new lol
Everything works as advertised. The customer service is always improving in quality as well.
I guess my first question is, is this app even monitored anymore... Not a good look to have updates skip a full year (7/10/2019) (8/24/2020)The same things people have complained about for going on 2 years, seem to still be issues... (9/15/21) (5/17/22) Everything I own for this company to join us in 2022 and fix the dogshit excuse for sensing mobile checking portion. I gave it 2 stars just because the customer service is pretty prompt. It's pretty subpar for a business of any kind.
