Memo Widget (Note Widget)

I was so looking forward to testing Memo Widget further. It seemed just just what I needed, but sadly the Widget just freezes as soon as it is placed on screen (every widget size does the same thing and every home screen). Such a shame. Oh, this is an Honor 20 running Magic UI 4.0.0, ie Android 10.

It's incredibly helpful having a "To Do List" widget on your screen. The app works very well, much better than others I've tried. Makes it easy to edit and organize multiple notes.

Easy to use, loved it until I switched phones and lost a year's research on lists on two major travel and business projects.

This is by far the best app I have found to create nice, clean message widgets for my phone's desktop. It's easy to use and seems to have zero problems. Highly recommend.

This one was exactly what I was looking for! I love that this one has no background, the words just float on my screen. It's very seamless and allows me to scroll through my list right on my home screen. There is an annoying glitch that's been going on for a few weeks. When I erase words it randomly jumps to different lines, erases the wrong words and adds random words. It's really weird! Hopefully this will get fixed soon.

love it. So far, it's what I was looking for forever. thank you! gonna test it out more:) only thing I would love to see added would be the ability to change the color of a specific line of text within a note. Sometimes I want specific items or lines of text to stand out beyond the others. And/or the ability to maybe add or attach a picture maybe. Thanks again!!!

I am giving g Memo Widget four out of five due to the fact that the app itself is difficult to navigate through. I would find myself time and time again going all the way out and of the app and starting over to try and reach a setting to reset something for the widget and/or to personalize it. Besides the setting aspect being difficult, taking notes is easy and fantastic and you are given lots of personalization options without having to upgrade to pro to get any of the bells and whistles.

I enjoy your app very much. It's great for keeping a lot of different types of notes, reminders, checklists, to do list, etc. The different widget options & further personalization are much appreciated. QUESTION: Is there a way to transfer/send notes to another program to work with them? Thank you. UPDATE FROM A DAILY USER: I continue to use this app every day & Love it. Those of you who may find it difficult to navigate? I've found with regular use, it becomes very easy & simple.Thank you.

The app used to work perfectly well and fit for purpose. However suddenly it started bugging. The notes appear as white boxes, and when clicking to open them, the app keeps on crashing. 1st can you help in order to be able to use your app again, 2nd and most importantly for me to trust using the app again, please advise how I can retrieve in parallel my precious notes blocked in your app, while you work on resolving the bug. Thanks

Great little widget, I use it for so many things. A few tweaks would make it 5*: • The ability to change text alignment and spacing on lists. • Being able to change the bullets next to items on a list, so it could be an arrow, tick or box instead of a bullet point. • Making the lists interactive so you can swipe items off when completed, instead of having to go in the app. • Maybe even adding capability to add reminders to list items.

Fantastic widget! Love all the options! Works really well! If I could add anything it would be the ability to rotate the note on the screen, some optional backgrounds other than just color and to be able to check an item off on the homescreen instead of having to open the widget. Having said that.. it is a great widget!

Just an idea improvement if you're still doing updates for the app. I think it's better to replace "Backup in Google Drive" with "Backup to Google Drive" and replace "Restore in Google Drive" with "Restore from Google Drive". It just help makes it more clearer at first glance. Restore in Google Drive sounds like the recovery is being sent to the drive and not the actual widget itself.

This is a great app, but the latest update activates an extra lock screen without asking the user. Very confusing for someone like me with dementia, who really needs a memo app. I finally figured out what the screen was for, and how to turn it off, but please, next time, make the default OFF with the option to turn on.

I have been using this app for many years; however, with the latest update, I have been unable to locate the design settings. Will contact dev and edit this at a later date. UPDATE 11/01/2020 - The problem was me! I had forgotten that a widget needs to be placed on the screen before creating the actual memo. It is still the best memo-on-screen app.

I'm close to giving this a 5-star rating, it's fast becoming my go-to notes app, mostly bc of the amazing customizable widgets. Other pros include: simple&easy--no compicated litany of features; option for checklist or plain notes; customize color of notes; LOVE THE WIDGETS-flexible sizing, color, text, border...and THEY SCROLL! You can add text directly to the widget! Plus a homescreen feature to display notes&reminders. Only con: organizing notes within the app could offer more options.

I've been using this app for years now and I didn't encounter any problems until now. I'm trying to backup my notes to Google Drive, I get the notification that all my notes are backed up, but when I go to Google Drive I can't seem to find any of them, I've searched into Drive and also into Backups and they're nowhere to be found. Where can I find them? Can someone help me, please? Also another option that might've been useful now, to be able to select all my notes and upload them somewhere.

Works really well, no complaints in four years of using this app. Reliable, no crashes, no freezing. Plenty of versatility in usage. Overall very good, easy to use app.

Has nearly all the features I was looking for plus the screensaver widget saves extra time. The app I was using before had thin horizontal lines between tasks (which make the list llook better). Maybe you could also add a due date/set reminder and a recurring task options. Thank you for this great app !

I don't want to pay every month. There should be an option for lifetime subscription. Also, I can't see what the difference between wigets are, because all of them called the same. Can't change app background to just plain white. I life options being black, but for apps white. Need support for markdown in widgets for H1 H2 tags so I could note it clearer. Done button should be at the bottom, not the top. There could be option for notification menu for quick note. There should a scratchpad

I love the ability to customize how the widgets look. Would be great to have a Create Note widget that can automatically place the note on the homescreen instead of having to take the extra steps of adding the note widget for each note. That would an AWESOME feature! Also, widget design settings dont seem to apply to new note widget created even though I have the "save currently design settings as default" checked.

Flawless. Allows variable transparency (so you can keep your nifty backgrounds), allows multiple font sizes, allows multiple background colors, and can be placed as a widget of any size on your homepage! You can also limit the height of your widget and turn on the scrolling function to allow more text or just hide some of your textbox's contents. Overall great app.

I have tried many memo/sticky widgets trying to find the right one for me. This is it! It is very attractive and clean looking. It is so so easy to use and to reconfigure the widget. I really appreciate that the memos that I have written are stored until I delete them. Great app!

~Favorite "Post-It" Type Note App~ I have tried many memo apps over the years, & this one is by far my favorite for sticky/post-it type notes. Great for shopping lists. IMO, this app's best qualities are: ▪the ability to see the entire note from the widget (w/o opening the note/app) via the flexible widget sizing & scrolling options & ▪the ability to customize each note & widget -- widget sizing, widget background color/transparency, widget scrolling, word alignment, font size, font color, etc.

Been using this for years but the latest update ruined it. Now every time I unlock my phone have to dismiss a really ugly fullscreen notification. Uninstalling and looking for a new memo widget. Edit: I did try to turn off this "feature", 3 times. It kept turning back on. After the 3rd time I left a salty review and switched to another widget. Problem solved.

Update 2: I did as the developer suggested (uninstalled 'Android System WebView' update) and it works perfectly again. 5 stars. Update 1: I love this app; it unfortunately randomly stopped working because of a Google update error (03/22/21). I will see if I can delete the Google update and continue to use the app; I appreciate the fast response from the developer.

I loved this widget until today when it stopped opening. Everytime I click on it it closes itself before anything loads. I have tried multiple ways to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: Thank you for your reply, deleting the update did work. I have changed my review to 5 stars

I've only used Memo Widget for a very short time, but so far, its been really useful, whenever I have an assignment or homework to do or finish I always just look at my homescreen or lockscreen to remind me what I need to finish! You can choose the background either from the app or a photo from your phone!

Very nice but... Would be great if you could add the option to change the thickness of the frame widget, the colour background + transparency index (ei 30%), different colour text per line or words... Thank you. Keep it up!! Update 18/9/2020: Transparency+color done!! Now please the setup thickness frame!! Very nice...

Easy to use with great customization! I use transparency background so I can see my wallpaper and list at the same time. Change the font color to flow with the wallpaper and leave it on a main screen as a constant but subtle 'to do' list reminder.
