Very good app. However the one thing that bothers me is that the app doesn't seem to keep all thumbnails once they've been loaded. Everytime I open an album and start scrolling, the app has to regenerate the thumbnails and this slows down the experience. Edit 4 Aug: Swipe up gesture for details is awesome. The thumbnail reloading is still preventing me from giving 5 stars though.
Imo Memoria is the best photo gallery. The UI is nice, lots of features, but the animations are a little bit slow. It takes like 1 second to finish the animation when you swipe left or right on a photo, when opening an album or a photo. This is annoying, and the only reason why I'm not use Memoria. Just look at Google Photos or Sinple Gallery and make the animations a little bit faster and Memoria would be almost perfect.
This app gets slower with every version. After taking a picture, it used to take 5-10 seconds for the app to open. It now takes 45-60 seconds to open, which is unacceptable. Also the latest version crashes 2-3 times a day! Paid for Pro, but don't want to use it any more. UPDATE: Reduced my rating to 1 star because the app doesn't work at all on my Fire 8. It opens, but freezes and crashes shortly thereafter.
Seemed to work fine the first time I opened the app. The second time and every subsequent time I tried to open the app it froze at different points of opening. It also seemed to slow down my gallery app and phone in general. I had to uninstall . I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge on Oreo U.S. version. Updated on the 27th, photo gallery is working flawlessly and no phone slowdowns anymore. Thanks for fixing the app. Update: 02/02/19 back to freezing up my phone when I open the app. Had to uninstall.
Very nice! My only concern is not being able to choose theme by hex color. I came really close to my overall system theme but I'm being nitpicky. I could just switch all my themes to the hex code provided and I think I could deal. Otherwise, I love the many options you've thrown in here. Being able to relentlessly customize the drawer is a nice touch. Less is more sometimes, and for 99ยข, definitely a steal.
It is sleak and clean looking, and has a number of customisability if you want it, in the settings. things like album viewing style, label styles, base app colours, ascent colours, number of albums per row, ability to favourite photos, a vault that can be fingerprint sensor locked, and so much more.... as customisable and feature rich as the app is, all of it gets out of your way so you don't lose sight of what you want a gallery app for ... viewing and managing your media. It also has album hide and exclude features, and I could go on. Worth checking out for yourself. It will get Google Photos and other cloud service integration in the coming future too. Again, I enjoy customisability and feature rich apps, but ones that don't compromise the experience, and this app really does that. I have quickly become quite the advocate for it, as I have long been searching for a good gallery app, and finally Memoria arrived. My feature requests: (1) google photos integration should in-app login, as opposed to device google account login (2) smb support (3) ability to save memoria settings to the cloud
Great app for organizing photos with some nice features. Nice to be able to customize and personalize app appearance. Support people very prompt to respond to questions, and development people open to requests for added features. I started with the free version but purchased the pro version within days. Looking forward to seeing if my requested features are added as I think many would switch to this app if they were.
Purchased the pro version. Sadly it's all just an illusion. There really isn't any TRUE customization controls, only the childs play of limited color preferences and similar features all worthless because the valued features do not exist. Cannot drag and reorder your image folders. Cannot add images or folders to a private vault. Cannot simply choose to rotate images in the gallery. And many more disappointments including the 576mg of space it takes up on your device! It doesn't play slideshows
I've been searching for a replacement gallery app for my default one. After trying almost all gallery apps in market this was my best. It has all features needed for a actual gallery app, with pleasant user interface. The only issue is that there's an photo copress folder won't show up, even after press refreshing the media button. Please fix with updates as soon as possible :( Thanks for your great application, hope that you keep it up! ๐ฅ
Good features. A little slower than my go to photo app and missing two features that it keep it from being my daily driver, but it does have a favorites option (love) and has a lot of potential. Will definitely revisit as more features are added. Can't wait to see how this terrific app develops.
Found Memoria as an alternative to QuickPic. It has a ton of customizations for look and feel, layout and security. Also has the functionality to hide specific folders with password protection and delete conformation. Hoping to see Google Photo integration and photo editing included in the future. So far I am really happy with this app.
Wonderful gallery app. Easy to use and many, many options. Theres nothing quite like it and i can only highly recommend !! Constantly in development and many more features to come. For instance, for me very important, RAW comparability. Making this a 5 star rating when this feature is implemented ๐ Keep up the great work, devs !
It's fine and have a nice look, but need a lot to improve. Other gallery apps brings the same but more easy to use, and with more efficient results. Has a lot of potential, but have to improve more. The costume service with the Dev Team is excellent, that is something I can't deny. Hope you keep going well.
Like the look of the app. Having 2 issues on my Oneplus 6T. When i crop a photo it leaves a broken file image when trying to share the photo on Facebook and other social media. Also, when deleting a picture it lives a blank image file. Having to edit and delete pictures in another app. Not a huge issue but would be nice to do it all in one app
First time in the market for a gallery app since I bought Pixel 3 xl. Tried about 4 gallery apps but this one is excellent. It is able to catch all the pictures including the portrait mode pictures, which takes 2 pictures at a time. Features of album creation and vault are definite plus. I think ability to edit pictures and create videos from pictures would be nice. Also future addition of cloud integration would be wonderful like the original gallery on Motorola and some other apps.
The way gifs play in the gallery is a beautiful effect. The long press to see a larger thumbnail could become a great feature, however currently it is not implemented as well as in Instagram, often cropping the expanded preview. I wish the mini-editor let me mirror images, but the pinch to zoom works better than QuickPic's did.
Great app. Lots of options to customize to make it look and work as you like, but swiping between images could be a lot faster. One feature request would be to show the whole image when using zoom in. Twitter client Owly does that very nice by auto scrolling the image. Also would be a good idea to put some warning that excluding folders will also hide them in other gallery/media apps. Edit: No notch support either.
I simply love it. It's fast and clean. Only problem I'm having so far is that I can't set a default player instead of the existing one. Keep up the amazing work. Edit: photos are not sorted by date take only in this app while in other apps it's working although I changed the order to date
The copy to and move to functions just pull up a blank white box. The cropping system seems to be one of two ways that these gallery apps use, which happens to be the way that I do NOT prefer. There is also no way to change the theme or remove the media count without paying for the PRO version. 1 star for the app itself & 1 star being that the developer actually responds to comments, and HOPEFULLY suggestions too. We will see.
i really enjoy the app, it has pretty much all i need for what i use on a regular basis. cant wait for them to hopefully implement a feature for scanning for duplicates then itll be perfect for me. Since the company hasnt been around too long its great to see that they try and get as much of it right as possible in less attempts. we all have to remember when looking for an app no matter what it is everyones likes and dislikes are very different so it may not be good for one, its perfect for me
Memoria is a good photo gallery and a good replacement for Quickpic that use to be the best photo gallery app. I like the fact that I can change the number of column for my pictures inside the album. I like that change that I make inside one album like sort by name, ascending can be carry to all the albums if i choose. Memoria need to add a last modified option in the Sort of setting. The Memoria app is freezing to much, it need to be updated.
Initially I gave it 10 stars! Beautiful looking, functional and the promise of more to come. That's what I paid for! Well, last update September 2019! Still no online storage support, no way to disable the tabs nor to get rid of that stupid splash screen, etc. I'm also tired of his whining when the reviews are bad (Hoo Hoo Hoo, my motivation is down the drain...). Then fix the problems and improve the app!
Edit: You can rotate pictures now; updated to 5 ๐ The app is generally very good. However, the lack of a rotation function is simply annoying. I have the pro version and although I'm generally satisfied it's a shame that a feature that can be found literally in every other gallery app is missing from Memoria.
I have to say, nice to know dev team keeps improving this app, and they are glad to hear feedback from users. Loading pics is much more faster than before, especially for camera folder, maybe my phone's folders are too much, it still takes some time to load from other folder like Twitter's saved pics. Still need to pause another music player manually before watching video in Memoria, or you will hear they are mixing together.
Tried it for a few months after QuickPic went all kaputt - I was not convinced at all. Poor performance on my XZ1 Compact, no dark mode in the free version and a terrible cropping tool - I mean, how can you mess that up and dare to have a paid version of your app. Went back to an older version of QuickPic, all of those points are not an issue there.
