Memory Manager comes with a built in minfree tweaker and task manager. Minfree refers to the minimum free memory value, e.g. the threshold of free RAM below which idle tasks are killed. Tweaking these values can save you precious memory. There are multiple presets you can select to customize minfree to improve performance.
Memory Manager also has a Task Manager which will show you your current running apps and list them by process type, importance & oom group. There is also a built in floating task manager so you can have a task manager everywhere you go.
Other features you will find are a startup killer (kill apps that start on boot), kill all processes (autokiller optimizer), ignore list & the ability to kill apps with root. Some features are only available after a small in-app purchase.

Best root app
With Moto G running Lollipop 5.1 GPE the app correctly changes the minfree values allowing for a great multitasking. I was getting continuos background closure because I was running out of memory. With this app and the aggressive profile the device came back to life (SwiftKey got reactive and Google play music doesn't stop while playing!). I even verified it by reading the minfree file, but to do it I had to change the file permissions manually, that's why modification do not show in the app!
When I try to set a preset it reverts immediate back to default settings.
I've been running this on my Pandigital Planet tablet running OpenPDP234v2.1 by Spz0. It's a replacement app for Automemory Manager that has an auto kill, but no white list. It was even killing Superuser 3.1.3. Now I've deleted it and started using this, everything runs much smoother. The old app would read my sd card as full, then tell me to insert another as it unmounted mine!!! No more of that with this app! Thanks for making a great solution for me!
I rooted my phone and yes this app is sweet in design but in actual use its a minor drain on my system due to the fact it runs as a service in the background -1 star. Update -3 stars doesn't hold its settings
All I needed to do was select a preset. The immediate performance improvement was deeply satisfying. I like my hardware to give all it's capable of. Consistently.
Can't unlock any features using in - app purchases. Menu pops up but does nothing when I make a selection. Note 4 910G on 5.0.1

Sadly this app hasn't been updated since 2013. Doesn't work great with Android 6.0 marshmallow and beyond
by the way, please make it to light weight, i think the app is heavy, coz it consumes 40-60mb ram
Useless app, minfree keeps getting reset and task manager shows nothing except itself. Phone is rooted.
The only app in this task manager's list, is the app itself, it can't see any other running apps.

Absolute trash. The app does nothing. On the list it only shows one process, it's the app itself. Checked the filters, everything is on, even system apps, nothing on the list. Presets don't do anything either, probably all functions are paywalled or something or the app does not even work IDK. This is not even a working demo. Don't download.
