It seems like a great game. I hope it works, I seem to have a problem remembering certain things I should. An that's not a good thing in the line of work I'm in. Also I would suggest after each workout or so you'd get prompts on how to improve on what you're currently working on

You get better memory from challenging your brain to remember things. This is what this games does. I recommend it after playing this game for about a month I realized I memorize things to do and vocabulary words much faster. It teaches you that the best way to learn is with pictures.but these short term memory game helps improve long term memory too.

I have read a few reviews about having trouble with N-Back. I was having trouble too, until I started getting it right out of nowhere. For me, N-Back is quite the opposite when it comes to difficulty. The trick is to not try to think about when to click the button. Just know how many letters or images that need to pass before the duplicate and press it when it feels like you should. It's the only challenge where I felt I had to think the least. I don't know why, but it worked for me.

Last year I started noticing my mind wasn't remembering like it once did. It was scary. First, I took nutrition which helped within three days. Then I began using this game with others. Immediately, I began to notice a difference. What I noticed is after about 6 months of use is my command of life has improved. On another program that competes world wide, I am 26th of the top 200. My life has greatly improved. For me, this covers a broader spectrum to help my brain than the others. Droid Bionic, and Xyboard

It's a great idea, but the individual that wrote the summary needs to be fired. The grammar, in the summary for this so called "memory game" is horrible and a major deterrent. I found at least five gramatical and spelling errors within the first two paragraphs. I'm not to sure about this "memory game" any longer.

N-back (particularly going up to 3 back) is preposterously difficult for me to do.. I can feel mental exertion after trying to do it. It's a good trainer! Would be nice if there were more settings for controlling the speed and options.

I noticed i was not as "sharp" as i used to be and tended to forget to finish tasks in a timely manner or forget about it completely until after hours at work. This app is great and im seeing an slow but progressive improvement in my concentration and working intelligence after 2 wks. ( playing 2x a day) give it a try!

I used to be easily to remember things when i was young. Now i'm 25 but due to my relaxed study and laziness since college, i was hardly to remember things and easily forgotten :'( I do three lessons a day and it works after a week! This memory trainer really brings my memory back like it used to be. Thank you Urbian, definitely support this apps for Plus version :)

Very well presented and developed! I had trouble at first, but learned how to do the exercises in no time. Particularly the sequencer, I memorized the shapes and colors as a sequence on the 4 tiles below (sort of like how you'd memorize Simon says). I hope that's how you're supposed to do it and I'm not short changing myself, but it worked well for me. N-back was easy enough; just figuring out how many spaces back to remember.

This app seems very well-rounded. As much as I like it and use it, I've gotta say the graph is weak. It lacks meaningful info. An actual score on the "y" axis and units of time on the "x" axis would allow users to get a better sense of their progress.

Great fun, can really see the benefit this game will provide. However, being colour blind I am unable to plays games remembering the order of colours since some look too similar. Please enable settings to be adjusted for colourblind people thanks.

I love these types of exercises but some of them just start with no clue to what you are supposed to do or what it is asking. The tile one is the easiest but they never say what they want. I just got it from trial and error. N back is crazy fun/horrible tho :)

Neat brain trainer, simple and friendly user. But should be updated now and again. Pictures are too few, repeating themselves, makes you think your doing better when in fact your brain just got used to the same old pictures making it easier for you to remember. Otherwise effective.

This app has really brought my memory full circle. No one likes forgetting things, and I am always forgetting simple names, movie actors and phone numbers. after trying this app I remember numbers i've only heard about twice. N-back is kind of confusing and I've certainly not mastered it, but overall a really remarkable app!

The concept is very good however while I'll admit this is app is hard to program for, there are multiple bugs such as, buttons to begin game popping up during an active game, non-native resolution etc. A few minor tweaks and this app has serious potential and something I would pay for. PS: N-back is awesome for your brain!

Great for memory! Took me a little while to figure out the N-back game though. To those lost: 2-back (the first level) is when the same square is lit after another one. For example, if the middle was lit, then the left, then the middle, you'd press the arrow. Not if it went middle, left, right, middle. That'd be a 3-back. The in-game instructions could be clearer by demonstrating what was NOT a two-back, as it would have saved this blonde some frustrations. Still it's the best brain trainer on the market :)

This has been a pretty good app so far. Not quite fun enough to motivate you to use it without having to force yourself but am seeing definite and measurable improvements. One complaint is that isolating number and position exercises for Nback makes it really difficult to make the transition to doing both at once in the harder modes. Also other Nback games verbally announce the letters which not only makes it easier for auditory learners but also adds another pathway to the exercise. (Auditory pathways)

I think these are good workouts. I only have complaints about one of them: Numberz. My complaint is that hitting the "replay animation" button changes the difficulty of the game; it makes it a LOT easier, because, upon repeat, you already know which person you are going to be asked about. This really annoys me, because it interrupts my training, forcing me back to a significantly less challenging level. I would find Numberz more valuable if, after replaying the animation, it gave a *random* prompt. :)

Recently the app started giving me the best possible ending score no matter how many mistakes I made. I know it's glitching because I just now purposefully chose every wrong answer and still got the highest score at the end.

I discovered accidentally that I was recalling phone numbers, account numbers to phone companies, credit card numbers, and able to recall phone number that someone rattles off to me without having to ask them to repeat it. I haven't Never been able to remember my credit card number, even when I was young and in my early twenties. My grocery list I could recall without even looking at it. This game is absolutely phenomenal in helping you to recall many things, sequences of events, details, whether minor her major; so forth and so on; its a keeper!

I just started this and havent gone a week yet. The only thing I can't get pass through is the freaking n-back. I understand the information alright, but there is no information on what you will do on the GUI once you started. Please fix it. Thanks!

Pretty good app would be amazing though if it recorded personal scores so you could challenge yourself and see improvements. The improvement charts are actually a joke and don't reveal an absolute thing

Still dont know what im doing in this excersize. So i just click the yellow button everytime the blue block moves. Eventually it says 'Good job' and i can move on. The other games i can complete just fine.

I like this game better than any other memory game. It really helps to make you learn and work on your memory.

BRI. C. Feb 9, 2013

I would rate 5 stars but my brain hurts when I use it but oh well that means it's working I have ADD so it could help but it's not too bad though neither is the app so 5 stars anyway.

Har. F. Dec 8, 2012

Love this app overall. It has a nice look and functions smoothly. I just don't like the letter n-back exercises. The 3 back just throws me off and doesn't help. And competing with the world would better motivate us.

The. H. Aug 26, 2014

One problem, every time I try downloading it says error "919" whatever that means :/ I'd really love to try this app but something is preventing it from being download.

A. G. u. Feb 4, 2012

If I could rate this 100 or more stars, I would. This has a lot of content to it ( specially for being free ^_^ .) It challenges you but not to the point where you feel discouraged. It also explains how things work in detail; the whats & whys are answered. You're not left wondering " why am I doing this?" I have already seen an improvement in my memory. All & all this is must have for anyone who wants to up their game intellectually. On a side note; working great on HTC Thunderbolt on Verizon. :)
