MendEZ. Mendeley, Everywhere!
MendEZ is a third-part client on Android for synchronizing, sorting and downloading articles that are managed with Mendeley, and stored on either Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive , and even locally.
MendEZ aims at facilitating file management for users of Zotero that chose to store their library database on another Cloud than the default ones (Mendeley servers).
MendEZ is the "read-only" version of a bigger project (Aziz, see Aziz, Lite! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.ezbio.azizlite for more info) intended to provide editing options as well as full side note management for any of these reference management softwares: Papers (see our app EZPaperz), Zotero (see ZotEZ) and Mendeley.
Free features :
Syncing of your papers' library with Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive. Or just accessing your local Mendeley copy.
Listing of papers / books and displaying their main information (title, authors, publisher, year published, ...).
Downloading the pdf of the paper when available
Sharing the pdf of the paper when available
Searching within references
Advanced filters: favorites
Advanced settings:
- resetting library data and reference manager type
- deleting local files
- hiding advanced metadata (labels, flags, etc.)
Local libraries: if you cannot put your library in a cloud, you can copy it on your local Android storage and load it into MendEZ! Read our tutorial for more information: http://azizlite.ezbio.net/index.php?p=blog&id=7
(Beta) Secondary storage: you can choose to store the downloaded PDFs either on the internal memory or an external SD card!
(Beta) Fast Loading of papers: if you have a large number of papers, you can choose to load them at the same time as they are displayed, so that you can access them while the others are still loading.
(Beta) Altmetric scoring.

Absolute junk of an app. Impossible to get it to sync with my Mendeley library on OneDrive, and their "tutorials" are a mess of different apps. Save yourself the headache and avoid this trash. Uninstalling it right now.

Tutorials are for linking to a zoterro account not mendeley and it doesn't seem to link to your mendeley online account. Pointless.

Saves time... And reduces researchers' stress
Just wasted 20 minutes to try and get this to work. Cannot select a sync folder, the tutorial link sends you to a page for an other product and the latest update is years back. Appears to be abandonware.
