I remember when this app was so much easier to use back I think in 2015. You could chat with anyone around the world in seconds. Ever since the update in I think 2017, I had lost a few good friends whom sadly I have not spoken to in ages due to that very update. I highly doubt that the developers would be willing to go back to the old versions, or even remake it as a separate application.
It used to be so cute. Then they stopped fighting against pervs and bots and stripped MeowChat of nearly all its functionality. UPDATE TO DEV: Excuse me, more interesting people and a higher chance to meet new friends? 95% of your users are people trying to show privates and get it on via web cam. No way to sort by region (remember the map?), no group chat function, and on top of that you charge people for communication? No, this used to be an innovative friend-finding app and now it's trash.
There's only women that are doing inappropriate things for money. In the 3 minutes i looked at the app i couldn't find a way to preface what i was looking for. My messages was also bombed with 'let's live video chat! I'm waiting for you!' Given the money symbol around live video chat, i absolutely don't want to to see that.
The older version was my far better than this. Sure it was flooded with bugs and glitches everywhere, it was an amazingly fun app and I met some great friends on there. With this change I lost all my progress and lost the friends I made. Please bring the old version back, I'm sure everyone agrees it was so much better before
The worst app, wish I never got it. It is absolute garbage, being spammed by bots, and you can't delete your account, there is NO feature for it. Seriously? They purposefully made it so you can't deactivate the account on your own. On nowhere on the app does it it show the developer's email or how to contact them, only on the play store and some website. You have to go and directly EMAIL the developer and ASK them to delete it for you. Scammy and sketchy. I wholly do not recommend.
The platform is smooth. It works as intended, they charge for what they decide to charge and it makes sense. Keep and eye on your subscriptions, you will need to cancel them manually. The livestreams tend to be slow, but I'm sure that's mostly due to the internet connections from some people. If not, maybe Badoo should work on that.
The WORST app ever. It used to be great. You could connect to cool people in your area and it had lots of options for building a profile and making friends with the same interests as you. Now, all it is is to force you to spend money. You can only chat to "stars" who call without asking and you cannot reject the call. Awful, useless app. Money grabbing useless garbage. I'm so sad that the old app is gone.
I am really dissapointed that this app changed so much, I wanted to experience MC the way it was before, it'd he really nice if you'd make another app that'd be similar to the old version coz a ton of people seem to miss it, hence the flood of bad reviews. I can't even find an app similar to it, it was so fun, you match randomly with a person in a random chat, chat for a bit, maybe fav each other, post pics on your profile which people can like and comment on. I dont want tinder w video chatting
This software can meet the individual's spiritual needs and is cost-effective. Using the new revision, I become much stronger. I talked about several anchors in it. I can break the sense of virtuality, know a lot of friends, and can broadcast what I like. I am very happy.
There is no option to delete my chats in badoo. I think it is important to be there so that i can have an option to delete my conversations with other people. Further to this there is no option to delete a photo sent to me by a people, kindly put that option, so i can delete photos after having watched them. Thanks.
I agree with most of the other reviews. This app use to be great to make friends around the world. Some of which I am still in contact with to this day, but the developers turned this into the worst app ever. It was amazing back in 2014-2015, but now it's just utter garbage. Only downloaded it to see if they possibly went back to the better format to be disappointed that it got even worse than it was before. Developers, if you read this, please just go back to the way it was.
I like this app for meeting and chatting to people overseas. It is very good for that. Also much cheaper than tinder. The ability to see everyone in your area without having to swipe past them is great.
Normally I try to give things a chance, however, this time I just cannot find anything positive about this. There's so many things wrong with this app. First off, you can't log in no matter what you do, I tried using all of my email addresses and none worked, I couldn't find any workaround either. So to sum it up... you can't create an account, which means you can't log in, this app is useless. Second... Changing the unique, fun, great and actually usable Meowchat that existed before into YET ANOTHER random- videochat app is literally the dumbest decision you could have ever made. What was so wrong with the old Meowchat that made you decide it NEEDED to be changed into, once again, ANOTHER random-videochat app? Like, did something happen that we're not aware of? The old Meowchat was so unique and amazing, it was unlike any other social media I had seen seen at the time, it was an awesome mix of many other common features other apps shared, and THAT'S what made it so unique.
I used to use Meow years ago and I loved its design and how fun it was to use. I recently stumbled across it again today and as soon as I made a new account I'm given the opportunity to "call someone for free"? And being spammed with 5 accounts with cheesey lines like "I want to speak with you" - clearly auto generated ones. Huge, huge turn off. Used to be a great socializing app but this isn't the same as it once was, not interested.
This is the first and probably last time I ever write a review for an app as the only reason I want to write this one is to show how disappointed I am in this app in its current state. It does nothing except spam bots and try to force you to pay for said bots. The only response we see from the developers is "meowchat has many new features" or "the app needed to grow." which is odd because they didn't grow it they threw it away and there also isn't any feature anyone wants. It's over everyone.

it's obviously a good app, hence everyone having and using it, but I wish that the devs would be remotely aware of the actual chaos they cause with their updates. Just bring back the chronological order and stop trying to innovate things that are accepted as good
I love this app! My friend doesn't have an apple device so this is the second best thing! Sometimes the app does sign me out. It gets pretty annoying, and I just wish that the creates coils add more games. NO MORE FLAPPY SANTA PLEASE!! But overall, it's a great app and you should totes get it if you want!
I like fact that this works with both android and iPhone... Before I found this app I couldn't talk to all my friends and family at the same time... it was either FaceTime or android video calling... now I can talk to everyone at the same time regardless of the phone they use.. Thanks for the useful...
Not able to even sign in. Like many other people have said.. The old version is better. The biggest issue I have is that I created a lot of memories on there, and connected with so many people around the world... Some which I am still in contact to this date. I'd have liked to go back to old conversations for nostalgia sake etc.. But we cannot now because I'm sure you've wiped it off your system.
