Not a huge fan of the app style. It does the job and it is very simple....I just think the design, style, and layout could be improved and modernized/updated. I recommend this credit union is you are local and especially for the loan offers, however ifnoll you are put of town often and need more flexibility/options for your banking experience, I recommend an online bank like Ally, or another larger nationwide institution. The new balance and pending transactions need to be updated faster!
Since the update on 3/16/22, the app won't work on my android s7.
EDIT 2: Now the app won't even launch. << Lowering to 1 star as this issue STILL hasn't been fixed and it is now almost impossible to log in or deposits checks with the app. >> App CONSTANTLY kicks me out and restarts due to "lost network connectivity." I have Comcast 55 Mbps+ Internet -- there is NO connectivity issue. This is just poorly built. If it wasn't for that, I would give it a much higher rating. 😒
Since last update this month app won't launch anymore
Why do I always have to update this it seems like every few months it does this and I really don't understand why, then it goes on to ask me to delete other apps before I can update 🤔🙄 I really don't like this at all. Just to much of having to go and delete other important apps just to update . So I wait to see if it will go back to normal, now I can't see my balance nor my accounts 🤔🙄 to complicated 🤔. It should be an optional or skip if not interested in the update, allow me back in.
The MERCO app is fabulous - I have the ability to do my banking with my cell phone - how great is that!!!🙂👍🖐👌💪😊🙂😀 I've been a longtime customer (1992). Opened a variety of accounts. Staff has always been helpful and pleasant.
This would be nice if there are options of text notifications money coming in and out. This app could use some streamlining. Hope they take something from other banks app.
Fine app. Superior to ATMs. Instant Balance feature means two buttons, way better than dialing in.
App doesn't open all the time. Keep getting error call for assistance. Very frustrating. But when it does work very easy to use.
so far so good with options. looking forward to more options in the future. love the convenience of the app compared to logging in and wait time of the website on the mobile device.
The app is simple and intuitive and does everything I need for checking balances, cleared debits, transfers, etc.
I am unfamiliar with online banking. The teller at Merced took the time to patiently instruct me and encouraged me to utilize e-banking. I am grateful they did, and am relieved at how well the system works! Thanks for the personal concern for me to understand this method of banking.
The app is very easy to use, read and understand. I truly like Merco's phone banking app.

It's a good app. However, it would be nice to see a running balance after each posted transaction. Also, be consistent with pending transactions. Some pending transactions are deducted from your balance and other pending transactions do not get deducted until they actually post. All pending trans should always be deducted from your balance. Also, fix the bugs that prevent being able to log in... this happens a lot. Other than that, the app is good. Great credit union.
