Merge Block: Star Finders

Doesn't work at all now. Entertaining however, when trying to move a piece you want to, it doesn't always work. Ads freeze so I'm often closing out and going back in to play. It adds two lines at a time sometimes and the counter sporadically speeds up. I'm not sure if that's part of the challenge but it seems like errors. I can't get more than 12700 because the game is too sporadic. Currently wouldn't spend money on it.

Alot of fun. I really enjoy it. Only reason I didn't give a five star is the ads. I totally understand they are necessary . The game is free. But they are a bit long and they don't automatically go off. It took me 3 adds to get past the bonus screen. The game itself is great. The timer is set just right where you can play without rushing. Overall give it a try !

I play often, but it moves to fast once you get to a certain stage. You could watch loads of commercials, collecting tools and coins to stall the time, but... At the first 3 rows, you are literally waiting for more blocks to move up, then halfway through, the timer moves too quickly to slide one square across the board. Impossible, defeats the purpose of self challenge. You should also reward for returning since you punish for staying and playing, by moving so fast.

Way too many ads. Normally, I don't complain about ad's. However, this puzzle goes overboard. And, always trying to get player to spend money for coins. Normally, it would be a 5 star game. Too bad.

It would be a 5 star but the ads are ridiculous. If you want to push pause you have to see an ad. And the add has one screen for 30 seconds, then a second screen for 5 seconds and then an additional 5 seconds for another screen waiting for an X. Ridiculous!!

This game would be great if it was possible to play above the 20... The game gets harder and harder but Time stays the same and you can no longer continue playing... And its annoying... Even additional seconds you can buy for coins that you have to earn by watching adds, are not enough to help...

I enjoyed the game, but the ads got ridiculous. But by that time I was addicted, so I bought it ad free. Was working well, then it started making blank squares, and then suddenly would not move at all. I uninstalled the game, thinking I'd reinstall and it might reset. But I lost my paid game. Is there a way you can open it up for me?

It's fun but the three items to buy are so close to the game area that I often accidentally touch one and waste the coins I've collected. Also the last update introduced interruptions in the game which can break a run you're having. I tried the game again May 2022. It has gotten worse. Way too many ads. You can no longer make continuous motions for consecutive merges. You need an ad free version.

Like The Game, but too many ads. I'd pay for no ads, but as it is (ads mid game and at the beginning of each round) I probably won't play as much, and all of the ads are 30+ seconds.

I didn't play long, but it disproved my concerns in that short time. I thought it would be another cheap crappy level game only looking for cash and forcing ads after every ridiculously easy level, but it wasn't. Instead, it proved to be a game for the players with decent difficulty, rewarding gameplay, and a system that encouraged players to improve their high scores. I can't handle timed stuff, it's a bit stress-inducing, but I recommend this app if you can handle that.

Fun game, quick and easy to pick up. Ads are not too bad. Actually I have had several times it would not give an ad when I try to select a free gift. There is a time on the blocks. The 2 things I would change to make it 5 stars are not popping up with "todays high score" or other similar messages in the middle of a game, very distracting and messes up the flow. The other is add a free play no time level.

Unlike most ppl I don't find the mid game ads that bad, they only happen when you merge your first 15 than again at 20 and that's it, plus you can skip. The main problems are blocks often don't go where intended, they move through another block to end up in an impossible place. Even more frustrating is the locking system, all the blocks becoming attached to each other and creates a gridlock that you can't do anything about, it's very frustrating to lose like this when you were having a good game

This would be a good game but it keeps freezing and when it does the only option is to restart the phone and start again. Very annoying especially if you're getting towards a high score. It does it whenever an ad pops up and when it congratulates you for getting to a milestone and also just randomly as well so it's quite unplayable. Shame cos other than that it would be a good game.

It would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the inconvenient ads; I literally had to deal with one when I click on "share" to start typing this feedback. The game itself it's pretty entertaining, easy at the beginning which let you do combos to make as many points before it starts getting hard, a different way to display the ads would make it a 5 star game.

The game it self, is very good. Lots of adds tho. It stops twice (once at 15, once at 20) to play an add mid game (this is both annoying and helpful, because it gives you a chance to rest your fingers). But it has started getting glitchy while playing those adds. The game freezes just before or just after playing the add. Closing the app entirely and loading it back up usually clears the freeze.

I wish there was a leaderboard, quests objectives. Something. Other than that it's great. The daily quests take 4 hours to reset. I love the game but they are missing some of the things that make people keep returning to games. While I love it I'm already looking for a similar style but that has more feelings of reward and gains. I'm really hoping soon there is an update. Leaderboard, objectives. Something to make we want to return to it.

I love this game and can keep it going for over half an hour but it deliberately blocks you to the point it's impossible to get out. Too many blocks and the timer is set way too fast when it speeds up near the end. Slow it down a tad more and make the deliberate blocks impossible so it gives a small amount of us to get through. I understand the concept of making it more and more difficult as the game goes on but it shouldn't be impossible. Maybe make some levels and reward blocks. 😊

The game itself is appealing, but the ad placement is peculiar. I understand that free games need ads, but in the better games you watch an ad as the 'price' of getting something - currency, extra time, special moves, or whatever. In this game, you get served an ad where better games would give a reward for an achievement - for example, you reach level 15 and instead of getting something desirable, you get shown a 30 second ad. Reach level 20, and you'll get another ad. It's hardly an incentive to keep playing. After a while, I began deliberately losing at level 14 so I could start again, rather than sit through the ads.

I play this damn game all the time!! Although it does have ads, it doesn't flood you with them. The game has three levels so you can easily pick which you would like to play. You can make purchases by they are not required. You can easily play without them, which is a nice change I have to say!! The graphics are good, it behaves ( no glitches this far ), and it's a lot of fun!! Great for any age.

Like the game. I have the same issue as other reviewers with freezing and having to reboot. My other issue is when I play a regular game I never get the stars added to my total. As a result I only play the challenges every day, get my daily reward and free spin. I have contacted the developer about this issue multiple times. Their loss as playing only the challenges I have amassed a lot of points.

Do NOT like newest update 1.3.15. The game WAS great, but this latest upgrade has not made it better, in my opinion. While the concept was good, it's left a lot to be desired. Graphics are sluggish and "off" and points add up to slowly. Game play is too slow and is not as interesting and challenging before the update. Ads seem longer now also. Lost my interest after a few games... The spark is gone. 😔

Way too many ads. Imagine if you were in the middle of tetris when it starts speeding up and you're in the zone and it just cuts to an ad. It will cut to an ad for any and everything. This would be a good game if the devs weren't worried about how many ads they could force you to watch during a singular round, between rounds, for extras, etc..

One of the best merge block games because the difficulty ramps up slowly, the ads are very minimal and the movement is smooth. The only thing I do not care for is how you can spend your ingame gold to buy power ups to obtain a higher score. This makes your score very subjective based on how many power ups you have saved or bought. You never feel like your score is a good indication of your skill.

Way too many ads. The game is kinda fun, but the ads are long, unskippable, at volume even if sound is turned off, and appear any time you start a game, stop a game, pause, and randomly during the game. That kills any interest in playing. Would give 4 stars if the ads were better placed, quiet, and skippable, and am only giving 2 stars because the gameplay itself is fun.

I love the concept of this game. I love the mechanics of this game. I could see this becoming one of my favourite games and spending hours on it... Except that the third game I played had an ad at the start, an ad at the end, and THREE unwanted (with no opt out) ads in middle. Even more annoying is that the first ad popped up just after I spent game coins to play it. That's just rude Normally I just pay to block ads, but not everyone can. I'm not okay with you treating free users like that.

The ads are a bit overwhelming. Each time it scrolls up my anxiety does too. The timing is moving faster to soon, to short a game. Maybe give more options as far as a pace of choice. I know you already have one but it's still stressful and frustrating because there aren't any other choices. Then only twenty numbers, which is why there doesn't leave room for time or a reason to continue playing. For me that's what's frustrating. And why I already wanna uninstall even tho I 💛 it so much... sorry.

Really enjoyed this game for a few days. Then it randomly froze before loading blocks and I've tried force stopping and clearing the cache but nothing fixes it. My only option left is to uninstall and reinstall which will delete my progress, and if it's just going to keep doing this every few days there's no point.

Updating this original review dated 10/19/19. Well it's almost 2 years later Bitmango hasnt addressed any of the glitches. (I think it's well accepted that commercials will occur at the start and finish of play but then you have to watch another round on both level ups which frequently get stuck and never shut off. The only way to deal with the glitch is to end the game, lose your progress, and restart. Don't know their cause, lazy or lack of knowledge to correct game glitches.
