this app is running ok before the last update, the setting feature is gone, you cannot set the garage to close at a certain time anymore, on top of that, the history of the garage door event also disappeared, this is a very good feature to keep a log of when do the garage door open or close. now the only function left is to open and close the door. Fix it ASAP!!!! Thanks for the respond, it is hard for someone to figure out to tap on the blank area to get to the setting, anyway, it works as good as before now. I had revised to rating to 5 stars, keep up the good work!

My already configured mini smart-plug disappeared from my account and can't be re-added. this app is supposed to do one thing and it can't anymore. Then to top it off, when I tried to submit feedback through the app it kept telling me there was a network error. Could saved a 1 star on here by at least having the feedback feature working. Update: not getting any better. I need to reinstall this app everytime I want to use it. Update2: issues appear to be fixed!

Absolutely hate the newest update to android app. Now the thermostat icon is tiny, along wry writing. It wasn't broken, so why fix it? I won't be the only one who hates it. I'd rather go back and use older apk than this version. Please change the icons and colour as well for thermostat/ temperature readings. It's the biggest letdown with meross, I've bought a lot of snart products from you. Feedback needs to change user experience, get things working as they should.

I've found these plugs and this app to work well. The widget is very handy for turning lights or outlets on and off without having to go into the app. The only thing I would like them to improve would be how to set the the programs. It is a bit cumbersome and confusing. BTW, although it's only cosmetic, the newly updated icons are clunky and unrefined. Not an improvement IMHO.

The last update completely ruined this app. They made the button to open/close the garage door the smallest icon on the screen. It's literally the only thing on the screen that's important, and they just made it the hardest thing to tap. Instead of focusing so much on adding tabs for "Hot Deals", maybe focus on making it easier to actually do the one thing we bought your device to do.

The app works ok but it does lack functionality. Example, a routine to turn on/off, requires TWO routines to be set; one for ON and another for OFF. For multiple switching, this is tedious. You can't edit the app either, I don't want a page for sales, forum etc., to modify for specific devices would be great. Final gripe, no shared access .. come on Meross, that's pretty basic stuff ! So, reasonable hardware (so far) but clunky and tedious software.

Improved app by removing device label graphic?..... The plugs are great & the app has always been easy enough to use, one of the better app features, was a small catalogue of icon images that allowed you to indicate what sort of device the plugs were connected to. This was handy in the app, as the picture was also the button to cycle the device on or off, it was an necessity in the widget however due to how small it is & which is now useless due to everything looking like a US style plug.

WIFI link setup and voice command linking is the easiest of any product I've ever had to connect too. Independent outlet control or the two combined is another great feature. Have 4 for roof heaters, will get more for Christmas lights. One voice command to control one outlet or another command to control both was easy to setup as well. (Made a group voice command to control all 8 outlets on 4 devices at once)

The new UI is a downgrade. The old version of the garage door widget made it very easy to identify if the door was opened or closed. The new UI has me constantly guessing the status of the door. Overall I love the product, but the UI change was not well thought out and I'm guessing not properly vetted.

TINY little icons after update. The home screen on this app used to be nice and clear and easy to use on a phone screen. Its been re-written and rather than auto scaling to suit the screen size it now has tiny text tiny icons and a tiny on off buttom squeezed into the same space. I need a magnifying glass to see something that used to be nice and clear. Who you designing this for? Watchmakers? Connectivity for Meross devices remains flaky with periodic restarts needed to reconnect

My brother wanted to use a photocell to turn on the exterior lights. However he forgot a smart switch. I downloaded the app which is user friendly and it just works. I like the switches and most likely will be the only brand I buy from now on.

New update has a terrible UI. The sensors have also stopped registering correctly, so the door always shows as open even when it isn't. Has caused issues where the door goes to "close" on the nightly alarm and opens itself, staying open all night.

Simple and intuitive app and lights that don't require to buy any extra platform (like Phillips), response well to voice assistance (Alexa and Google in my case) even from my watchm pretty happy. The only negative issue is that they don't have decorative bulbs and it would be nice if they have that product line

Why does my app show there are no devices???? When I have 2 devices set for over a year and have accessed them plenty of times trhough the app to change their times. The plugs are still working and are following the on/off times I have set for them but the app is empty? Please help I can't see how to fix this on Internet

I have the garage door interface. I can open the door and close it at will from anywhere. Handy when a tradesman wants to get something from inside for instance. Plus, I'm never hunting for the remote like I used to.

Amazing IOT device. Completely changed how my 1974 original Garage works. Works flawlessly and has a lot of bells and whistles in the app. Biggest thing being the auto close due to overtime open function.

This is one of my favorites apps and gadgets. I installed at my home and my parent's house, and I looked for something easy to use and reliable for my parents. I recommend it to every body. After about 2 years using meross smart gdo, mini plugs and temperature & humid sensors, I'm pleased the way they still work and update once in awhile. Thank you so much to create something 99% free of troubles for my family. I'm very happy!!!

Using Meross in Sweden and I am having constant issues. Devices cannot be reached and the app randomly logs out. When trying to login, the service is not avaliable "try again later" is often presented. Not sure what is going on but I do not recommend this company nor its products. 5 stars if it was just working since the hardware is very decent.

I am using this app with a meross msg200 garage door opener. It is annoying and confusing that the app open/close icon does not update (change) status when the door is operated manually. The sensor sends a notification to your phone when the open/close status of the door changes, but the app's icon does not update that status unless the app is turned off then back on. Looking at your phone, the icon makes it appear as if your door is open when in fact it is really closed. Pressing the icon will of course open the door when your intention is to close it. This appears to be a glitch in the app itself rather than a hardware or firmware problem because the sensors and opener are doing their job sending change of status notifications to the app.

Why on earth does setting up a new scene not use "no action" as a default for all devices. I'm setting up a scene to turn three of my bulbs on and I need to tap through all my 20+ other devices as well to set it up so that they don't turn off while selecting the scene. And then I need to do it again for another scene that turns off the three bulbs. This is pretty tedious.

I've installed single pole, 3-way, dimmer and wall switches. All were easy to install and communicate with the app flawlessly. I like the scenes and routine functions. Would be great if I could capture my own images for the icons

Work OK... Pairing is a bit complicated but is okay with the fallback method. What I find lacking ia the color effects. When you pair them you can see that they could support colora fading and changing but there no option in the app as with competitors like dals by example. I find the white and yellow sastifactory. I would revise my review if color fading effects were possible.

Hate the new update. It made all the buttons for each device super tiny so you have to pay more attention to the app to turn devices off and on. I don't want forums or hot deals, I want the app to do its core function well and this update doesn't.

Latest update rendered my garage door opener useless. You can't open the door when you get home. I use to be able to open and close the door from anywhere. Now my phone MUST be connected to my home wifi for the app to work. Don' t buy the Google assistant Amazon Alexa compatability. They can't open the door either without being on your home wifi.

Update has made widget unusable on Samsung Galaxy. Since the last update, the widget no longer depicts garage door, but rather some fanciful arrows. Unable to tell looking at widget, whether door open or shut! If it ain't broke, don't fix it! However now you've broken it, fix it quickly.

I loved the app yesterday, but it updated overnight and now the open close button is to small to use when driving up or down the driveway. I want the old interface back. I mean it still does the job but the button is way too small now.

For the most part this app works as intended for my garage door opener. The notifications are slow to make it to my phone (sometimes 3 min sometimes 30 min.). And, they don't group like all the other apps' notifications on my android lock screen. For the love of all that's holy, please get off your chineese buts and group notifications on my lock screen.

I use this app for my garage door and it's wonderful! This product allowed me to install a device on my older garage door opener for a fraction of what a whole new smart unit would be. I've had it for 3 months, and the app has worked flawlessly so far.

Unlike other 3rd party smart apps even those by multi national companies, this meross app works really well, controls devices as required and synchronises with samsung smartthings as well as Alexa. Their products are very very reliable especially their wifi chipsets and i have more than 10 different meross devices bought over time that i am using. Well worth the money !

The mini plugs work great. However, the widget is absolute rubbish on a Samsung tablet. Once you load all the sockets/plugs, it works for a while. Then after some time the individual plugs disappear and all you are left with is a blank white empty square. If you restart the device, all the plugs re-appear. However, after a few hours, nothing again. Absolute rubbish!!
