If you can't deliver on commitments, then don't committ. Booked a rental cab for 12 hours. They cancelled the cab just 15 mins from pickup time. No call or anything, just a sms to inform this as well. Really bad service. Its raining outside and it will be very difficult to book any other service now. Thanks for the pathetic experience!
Really bad experience with Meru. I had booked an outstation cab well 2 days in advance and at the last moment, received a call from their Customer Care telling that they are unable to find a cab for me. So, they are cancelling the trip. They are sorry for the inconvenience. This happened after paying advance for the trip. Just not done.
Very bad service. They cancelled my cab 30minutes before departure to airport. If you can't honor your book later option then remove it from the app. I had to go through lot of hoops to get another cab and get to airport. Deleting the app.
I had paid 30% Advanced And at the near to Pickup timing they just Cancelled the booking by saying that cab couldn't assigned. Very Bad experience with meru cab and never book from this application, the number they provide will Never connect to their customers support. Overall experience PATHETIC.
Useless service by meru... Booked 1 day before just for a local city drop in bangalore. They debited the amount very cleverly immediately but when the time reaches got a message that no cab available. If no cab then why you have reserve option. Atleast amount should be reserved and released immediately when no cab is available (this is how the other cabs ola and uber does) but i didnt get money also back. The reputation of Meru is gone.
Not not a good app. Always waiting for a cab/ auto but the driver is always rejecting the confirmation. So Uber has to give some features,so if as a customer we are booking, the driver cannot rejected once it is confirmed
Absolutely Pathetic!! Booked a cab a day before to get to the station, and they're informing about the unavailability just 20 min before. Atleast inform few hours before, so other arrangements can be made. I'll never ever suggest anyone this app.
Not reliable at all. I booked the cab for 4 am on a previous day. Did not receive cab info by till 3:45am, so called their customer service. After over 5 min of waiting they say cannot provide cab... Poor service, atleast inform before, so that other arrangements are done.
Useless App. No option to change destination after trip started. You need to get paid extra amount without bill..
Highly unreliable. They cancel your scheduled ride in last minute also. Would advise never opt for it.
Service is very good. Little things add to details, like when we are about to cross the toll plaza, we are notified via audio about the toll payment status for the unsuspecting. Ola or uber is very nasty. However, the biggest downside - the app needs lot of work, and don't get me started on the website
Poor service. The app is in total disconnect with reality. The drivers are shown on app but in actual you are only made to wait
Didn't receieve the confirmartion from MERU till the booking time. I could have missed the flight if i rely on this. Please treat customer as god and provide timely updates on cab booking..
Unreliable service. Booking accepted for outstation trip and was canceled 1 hour before the trip. Not recommended.
App works smoothly. It's integrated with in-taxi announcement that Toll charges are included - excellent - no confusion!
Updated on 3rd April 2022 Worst cab booking app No service at all And customer care don't pick up the phone call, I tried to call them for 4 times at a duration of 5 mins per call.
Pick up from customer place to airport time and service is good. But, from airport to customer's places there is no even single vehicle on Sunday's.
In four month 2nd time cancelled trip by company. Very very unreliable cab. Can't trust. I suggest the company to get exist.
Worst app cab was not assigned at time cant even cancel the ride it was an emergency and cant book ot on time. I think you just shut down the company
Recently while going in Ola, the driver (ex-driver of Meru) has told me that Meru was and even now a good organization and follow professionalism. To test this, I tried Meru and fully satisfied. Thanks.
used meru for first time..surprised with the good service i got.. better than Uber and Ola when compared to current level of services those provides have.
Whenever I am trying to schedule a ride for tomorrow morning, it says booking failed. If I don't get to use it tomorrow (1st time for me), then I will uninstall it.
Highly unprofessional. They don't value customer's bookings. They assign a cab that doesn't report at pickup point even after 10mins of scheduled time. You call Meru office, waiting time is 10 to 15mins to get answered. The person there coolly says I'm sorry there are no alternative cabs available at the moment in your area. And this is not the first time they are doing this to their customers. Horrible service.

Traveled to hyd from Bangalore and back. Both the times, the drivers refused to recognise the advance payments made to Meru. So I ended up paying 10% extra. Seems like the app and the driver coordination is lacking. Also there is no support. The distance difference between Google maps and the drivers meter seems widely off.
Pathetic experience last minute the cab driver cancelled the cab....Not recommended n past 15days no refund has been initiated..!!
Worst service. They accept booking without any assurance and cancel at the last moment. Highly unreliable and pathetic service. The customer care will not pick your call and you will just receive a message stating booking is canceled just 5 mins before scheduled departure. Don't waste your time, effort and money on them and better to look for alternate options for booking cab specifically to time critical destinations like airport.
