I installed the app & purchased the add free version. It is super easy to use & takes no more than five minutes to set it up. I tried 3-4 other recommended app lockers & did not need all the extras, plus they were complicated. Just wanted some of my apps to have a password, nothing more. So far, sometimes it puts a lock on an app & sometimes it doesn't. Is there a way to make the app more stable? I am using Pie 9.0 on Pixel 2 XL.
this app does not completely lock the messages. if I receive a message and click on it you can see the message, then it locks and I have to unlock the app after I've already seen the message. what good is it If the point of me getting message lock is to hide my messages. As soon as I click on the message it should be locked and not showing anything but it does.
USELESS NOT SECURE AT ALL. If you are in the lock pin/pattern screen, all you have to do is press and hold the recents button on your phone. Then your sms app goes into split screen mode and you can read ANYTHING and even reply WITHOUT EVER ENTERING THE PIN OR PATTERN. USELESS!
not consistent with locking the apps selected so it's not any good. I selected text,email, photos to be password protected. like you have to reset everytime after you use it.
doesn't lock messages until after I had a chance to read everything and then some. It use to work perfectly! please fix or I guess it's time to find something else.
It is working fine but while opening message app,there is a delay which makes you able to click on any conversation very quickly then Message Locker locks but you may see some of this conversation if you open background apps..so it not 100 % secure.
Sometime it works and sometime it does. Also you still can quickly preview messages before it prompts for password. App needs some improvements and will be perfect.
Excellent app, it works just fine without any error . This app has the capacity to lock all app installed in the android phone. Only if the developer can also add an option to lock a particular chat on WhatsApp. Great thanks to the developer.
I actually like this app & needed something like it but sometimes it doesn't work properly allowing access to the apps I've chosen. if that could be fixed it'll be perfect.
Freezes and locks up requiring reboot of phone. ive uninstalled and reinstalled app but it will only work for a short time before it starts freezing up again.
App i wnt Locked do not stay Locked. I can click on App & it Opens. If i click Message Locker,it prompts me 2 enter security code than i am able 2 Open Locked App. If i go back 2 that same intended App without clicking Message Locker,it opens without any Security Code.Message Locker is not doing what i thought it was intended or designed 2 do!
nice but it is not automatically unlock again after some time, if i open my screen once means all apps are opening directly without asking my password to that exact app and i locked nearly 8 apps, if i wish to open one app means asking password, sometimes not asking password to open.
It worked for a while, but now it's not working. I went back and checked it to see why it no longer locked my messaging app, and it wasn't there. I put it back. It's still not working.
The app is good but sometimes it is not asking password for apps you have already locked, you can read the message then ask for password after you are through of which privacy is not enhanced
if you unlocked one of your application it will automatically unlock all the applications and will not lock over again. I been sending emails and no one reply to them
It doesn't work. When the phone is switched off and switched on again, it doesn't keep the apps locked. I don't know why.
Does not work!This app used to work great but now it doesn't lock anything except the app itself. I don't know what happened but please fix it.
paid for the extra features and they don't even work 🤬 app doesn't always lock totally useless. only gave it a star because I had to
It's okay, the app an doesn't work 24/7 like it should.... Looked to freeze on my when entering my password.... Can't customize themes either ...
The App does not auto activate after start-up. You need to manually activate before it can protect apps.
It locks your personal notes?? I don't see the option for it... It will only lock the app.. Not the messages
App is terrible! Only locks the apps you've selected to be locked when it wants to.
doesn't work consistently very unreliable. always have to open app for it to re-work
it is not working.. even though i added apps to lock it.. it is still opening without even asking for my password
was great until the recent android update. now only asks for password sometimes to get in my texts.
This not providing facility of lock the chats it is working like app lock. So it is helpful but not provides facility those I want
When I go into my app the lock keeps appearing even if I didn't go out of the app.
Does not work have to click on it's a cpl times then will ask for code can still see messages *uninstalling
So far this app works wonderfully. Able to keep the things I want to be private; private. Additional layer of security. Would absolutely recommend. Only complaint I have is that there is a split second where you can see the content of any particular application that is being protected by this one before the security kicks in. Only a marginal gripe.
