Loved it. I would have liked just a tad more capability to grow the company, and it's not very well explained that you can only specialize in witchery or science, so I went in thinking about a mixing science and witchery strategy and burned some important resources as a result. 6 bucks is pretty pricey for one playthrough, but I'm not unsatisfied. It was a great story, and the mechanisms of choice and investment and growth were good, but a tad unfulfilling. Overall, it was a great read and a great play.
Basic plot with a few twists and turns and an inch of depth to every character (Not a good thing) but overall a decent game. I would've gave this 4 possibly 5 stars but the "superpower" (Should've been called augmentations) and budget loop are pretty lackluster. The saving grace in this game is the opportunity to use your skillset many times through much of the story, I liked that. Overall: Up to you, I personally wouldn't have bought it again knowing what I know now.
My overall experience with this game has been fantastic, the choices actually matter and the storyline is quite good. There was a bit of repetition but at the end it turned out to be a an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended. Only reason for 4 stars is because of the intrusive ads that popped up at vital points in the game.
I've played several of these games now, but this is my favorite. Every choice has significant bearing on the gameplay. The game is rewarding and has replayability. The characters are interesting. I see side plots I have not had a chance to investigate. Have already recommended to a friend.
My first CYOA game from Choice of Games. Got me into this type of game and I have since bought several more. The plot is extremely engaging and I am still trying to get all of the achievements after multiple playthroughs. The style of the writing and the world that was created by the author is engrossing and when I pick up the story I cannot stop until I have finished. Many people who play this game will never see some of the amazing surprises coming! I highly recommend this story, thanks!
Choices Or Not- There are things that keep me captured in reading and one is to have choices of where the story goes. This one is nicely written with some interesting points. There is always room to improve though the story is fun enough to keep the interest.
This game have a great story, with interesting characters. It pushes you to play it just a little more, just a little more, and so on, for hours. It should have save/load option! Everything else is GREAT.
It was great fun, a maybe two or three hour experience, but I loved every bit of it. Character development and managing your resources is fun, and you constantly see the results of your past decisions come up
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CYOA GAMES. The lore is very intriguing and I like the amount of choices you have. I have almost no words to describe this. It's an absolute masterpiece. I normally skip through most text in CYOA books but this was amazing and I only have just finished one playthrough and restarted by looping back in time. Incredible.
Really good storytelling, setting and progression. A multitude of choices and possibilities that doesn't overwhelm. And that's just the free demo.
I love this book. Having grown up with choose your own adventures finding books its tough to find books that allow your choices to feel real but this book offers plenty of options and makes you wonder what you missed every time you make a choice
Enticing story with many different outcomes and events that make it worth playing multiple times. Buying the full game after playing through the beginning was the quickest purchase I've made.
Metahuman had me from the first page. This was the first game I played that was a story based style and I loved it! I wished it didnt end Haha. Metahuman has set a very high bar for the next ones I play. Hope they make a second book to metahuman! Great job!
This word based rpg is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST one ive ever played. The only suggestion i have, is that when ot should i say IF you pass your end kf year review with the investors/owners of the company and they say you have to continue working for them, i wish you could actually keep playing. Like the story continues on.
Loved it. Great writing, lots of choices, and a decently sized read. Just got dumber with the first playthrough and look forward to the next one!
Wow! What a story! Just finished my first playthrough, and saw so many possibilities for a second one! Totally worth the $6 they ask for. Great job!
Its really a thrilling story. Couldn't get the full version, but I would really love to see what happens after the guys head bursts
The free part has a great story, but the game is *not* free. The free part is only a demo. Once again, shame on the devs for not informing players of this.
MetaHuman Inc. has an engaging plot and is well written. Unlike many similar apps, your choices can change the direction of the story.
I give this a 3 cause at first I didn't read the very first part that says you have the first 3 or 4 chapter for free and buy the remaining chapter to finish it. So when I was soo enjoying the game and reach the end and then it says, you know the buy to unlock the other chapter, so I was so disappointed cause I don't have the money to buy, and at time like this that we are in quarantine, it's so very boring in the house, I hope it's like "Doomsday on Demand" that we only have to wait. 😒
Wowzers. This is the kind of interactive fiction gameplay I grew up on. Incredible story with replay value through the ceiling. High recommend.
I have only played the free intro and its EASILY the best written interactive story I've EVER played. I love playing the role of a CEO.
Though I rated 4, my actual rating is 4.5 for this game. The only thing that made me deduct 0.5 to make it complete 5 was the ending (spoilers ahead) where you go back to the time when you become the CEO.
Love this game, amazing story and possibilities in it. The only thing that I want right now is part 2 of MetaHuman Inc. Please tell me you are working on it.
Amazing!! The plot is great. Character development is really good. This is one game that keep you hooked. Didn't want it to end 😂
I'm liked the game but it occasionally felt my character was railroaded into being a certain way. Let me explain. During on part when I'm being asked by the vaccine guy about if I'm able to the job, there is an honest option that says I'm not sure and living option that says yes, but where the honest, confident option. another time I'm talking to the reporter about illegal activities from a corporation that she's investigating, and there's no option to go against her wishes and be honest about it
Too short, No save or checkpoints kept forcing me to start over if I left the screen
Wow. How did someone even make a great game like this? No other COG game led me to think about it for days. The plot was great(except for the slow start which was kind of understandable)! It led to heart-racing moments where I felt the pressure that I faced. The climax was just outstanding. I cannot believe how smooth the transitions are, how many conflicts there are to solve, and the timing of the plot twists which is what makes it so good! P.S. Please make a MetaHuman Inc. Part 2. Thank you!
