Although it did not work with my DOOGEE X5, it did tell me I never had the sensor built in. I did wonder why a compass app never worked, (or other Detector programs either).
Had to put a certain part of my phone near any metal but it works great. Thank you 🖒

Using a new Moto Z2 Play. The app did detect the frame of my camping chair, and struggled to find a key I placed on the ground, but it couldn't detect my gold ring on even #9. I was able to get ghost hits on a rock and ground. Maybe it detects well for some of you, but I don't need to find my camping chair. Too many false readings and not enough positive finds.
I've just finished installation, therefore this is based in a first impression. It surely detects some pipes inside the wall (I know where they are) about 5 cm deep inside the concrete but, it also fails to detect others in the same conditions. I don't know. I won't rely to much on this, not until I get to know it better.
on 7 sensitivity if I put to 8 it founds something when I lift d phone up or vertical. Im using galaxy s4. 5 stars thank you. If the app is not working for you maybe you have very cheap phone, only high end phones will work with this software
Works better than any other similar app - we used it to find survey markers buried up to 4 inches in dense compacted soil. Anyone who couldn't get it to work either had a phone with a weak magnometer or didn't click on the simple little calibration icon. It works. Guaranteed!
This app has great functionality first short-range metal detector this is one of the few that actually detects. Great job ! It's definitely a keeper thanks a lot Oh, also an additional note, it actually does detect aluminum slightly, but not enough to set the alarm off. I waved one of those aluminum cheap Chinese LED flashlights under it with no batteries and it actually got it period just a fluke I guess
Found a buried metal stake in yard I was looking for that had become covered with sod. Found the stake by placing smart phone in a plastic bag and slowly dragging across the yard locating the stake by alarm of app going off. Fantastic app which saved me time and $$$ without having to purchase an actual metal detector.
Its weird at first it detected whenever i tilted so i opended and closed the app and then it didnt work by tilt id put my knife in front and the bar went up moved it away and it went down infront of mt metal light it turned on righr away so if it turns on by tilt try closing and opening in still have to test if it goes through anything yet. Good app though :)
All other ones giving it a5⭐ is full of themselves and probably paid. Think about it how would your phone be able to detect metal. I tested it and nope...tried all the things it said to do and put ontop of metal and just keeps saying scanning. I have an android LG stylus do don't tell me it's a crappy phone. Peace to all
I can wave it around in the middle of the room and it will go off when you go in there metal it won't go off unless you move the thing around and then it will go off but you can do that in the middle of The Room 2 it doesn't work it's crap I don't know how 5 million people downloaded this
I downloaded it for detecting my gold earring but did not work . Don't use it .
This did not work AT ALL on my phone. It couldn't detect anything medal; I tried a lot of different things. This app is POO
so far on testing it works well. Big test will be if it finds my missing wedding ring in a large overgrown garden
Says detected when there is no metal near by. Tried calibrating it. Still constantly gives false readings.
A metal detector that doesn't detect metal. Interesting creation you have here. Ok, so it will detect anything with iron in it, and any electronics, but as far as trying to find buried treasure, this app is useless. I'm keeping it just for a gag at parties.
This application worked with the included instructions. The intent was to find a proptery stake hide below ground and found it quickly with little effort. No ads, no garbage, no nonsense. Well done.
It did work,but only if I held my phone right over the metal object.

I love it, but it should have sort of an x-ray type thing so you can actually see the metal.

Looking for a ground rod at my house couldn't find one . Downloaded this app doubting it would really work . But it worked perfectly . the sensor went off and I dug it was about 8" deep underground and the app still got it /galaxy s7 edge
It was great and detected metal like a charm but I got it to look for some keys and it didn't help me find em but that's not the apps fault. It works super amazing overall.
