Metal Detector

Yes, it really works! I think it only works with those phones whose rear primary camera has an image stabilization function because there is a coil that helps stabilizing the lens, I think this app uses this coil to detect metal. It's sensitivity is very low. It could be even better if there would have been an option to add an external coil using the 3.5mm jack to increase its sensitivity, otherwise it's a good app, you can have a try.

Works very well! It detects metal very well and vibrates when it gets close to metal however because the phone sensors are not the strongest thing ever you have to be very close to the phone with the metal object but when it gets close it really detects it! Awesome!

I downloaded the app a week ago because i was downloading random apps i could find then i got bored today so i opened it. I didnt expect it to actually work but it did. It cant detect some metal though. It can detect iron or something magnetic quite far away (10 inches or something)

It's works sometimes. Can you fix the bug sometimes if I put the phone close to the metal it's not detecting it.

This app does indeed detect metal. However, it can only detect large objects that are very close to it (about 8 cm). If you actually want to find something buried underground, get a real metal detector. This app is purely for entertainment, not actual searching

Wow 😦😮it actually works!!! I couldn't belive it at first,i thought it would be a scam or something, but it actually works! It might not work for some phones or metals. I have redmi note8 and it works really great! You have to put metal in top left corner, front of a phone works the best but back side is good as well! The way it works is by magnets,some phones have magnets and i guess this app somehow measures the magnet... Idk 🤷, but its awesome 👍

I like this app. Really detects metal inside your walls. You just need to determine where on your phone you get the highest reading. Once you determine that, you'll know exactly where the metal (nails/screws) inside your walls are located.

It doesnt work. doesnt detect gold doesnt detect coins doesnt detect most metals only detects magnet and some electronics in very short distance

This is very good but I think there's bugs 1 . If you take metal too long it will got a glitch

Ok. So I turn it on for the first time,and after calibrating, set it on the couch beside me to see if it detects the metal...which it does nicely. Then as I pick it up, it goes instantly up to 110, then just as fast falls back down to about 66. I've replicated the same movements several times, and it never goes past 70. Not sure what it picked up for those few moments, but it sure made my cat a bit nervous. I have to give 5 stars just for the weirdness, which I very much enjoyed.

Surprisingly cool! Needed to find wires in the wall - the app helped. Also, it located the pipes inside too. The only challenge was I knew the wires and pipes were somewhere in here; if not that, it would have been an issue to actually trace them. For the latter, the app needs a feature to plot high magnetic density areas on a scheme so that you could guess what looks like a wire or a plumbing.

It's terrible idk what it's even for bc I just downloaded it and it's easy to see it's a scam.

It's a really good app but it's misleading. It's not a metal detector, it shows you how strong is a magnetic field. I have encountered only one issue: When the readings are too high it drops back to 35-50 μT so you can't measure big amounts. Overall is a good app and you should try it

This application is really awesome. But the users whose app is not working, there is a problem in their phones it can happen that tere is any sensor missing from their phones.

It works perfectly!trust me it does especially on radios tvs remotes etc because of the magnetic fields they are sending out.

It's a pretty good app but the only thing that was weird about it isn't detected my clock that shouldn't happen my clock is made out of plastic but it could have detected the hands the hands are made out of metal

Definitely should be renamed as magnetic field detector instead of metal detector. It does do this job quite well, but the sensor area on my phone it uses has to be within about a half inch of ferrous metal to register anything at all. As near as I can tell it uses the compass sensor in the phone since the "calibration" is exactly the same as calibrating the compass for GPS or star tracker apps.

It's not a metal detector. Its a compass. If you tilt your mobile the reading will be change immediately

Wow! It really works. Those who say that it doesn't are wrong. You need phone/tablet with Magnetic Field sensor. Else it won't work. And make sure you are pointing that very part of device where Magnetic Field sensor is located. And if it gets higher (red color) then it means it is metal (or some material with same magnetic field which I don't think exists).

Best app hands down for metal.i use it personally to detect magnetic grave markers beneath the ground have had incredible success at this detecting metal over 14"in away from the phone, using Moto E6play. Downloaded tons and many hours wasted. (This one does work flawlessly), if u looking for silver and gold I'm not so sure you'll have to try that. As far as base metal, this thing is a marvelous charm. I even have a telescopic camera tripod attached to it to use as an actual metal detector.

Great! Used to find our property line. We had a idea of where it was located, But could not remember the exact spot the pipes are located at. I used this app and within a minute I was able to find the lines. I was a bit skeptical to use this app, but it actually worked.

IT WORKS! Believe it or not it works the only reason I did not give 5-star because it has annoying sounds so yeah that's it.

Great app well done, works good just has to be rather close by near contact to pickup an object, anyone should expect that from any small working components of sorts that a typical cellphone has. I haven't tried this theory yet but would or could there be more possibly capable for an enhanced ability of more greater distance range to detect objects by plugging in a AUX lead and larger portable speaker acting as the sensor?

It uses your phone's magnomete so if you don't have a phone that has it it won't work . It can detect magnets and metal if you bring them close to the sensor . I was pretty surprised when I measured a wirelles headset and a kitchen fork and normal earbuds the readings were 999+ and my phone vibrated as idk really vibrated. It's annoying that sometimes the readings gets sticks at around 100 or 200 so I need to calibrate again. The weird infinite logo calibration don't work so I need to do it the

This App really works, its beeps when the phone is very close to the metal. My request to the developer of this app, Please add coil option so that the user can attach the headphones and use it as a external coil for longer range metal detection.
