Do not purchase this game or Snake Eater (MGS 3). The drm servers must have been shut off recently because neither game will validate their license check. I have tried to load both games and they refuse to do so. I’ll be seeing if I can request a refund. Shield 2019 can indeed play the game I’m sure, but I wouldn’t know since I’m unable to play them now.

I am currently unable to play this due to DRM, servers are not validating and so the game is not even launching. I have played this game on PS2 PS3 and PS Vita, I have never experienced any DRM issues with those versions. Do not buy a Shield if you are expecting to play any of the Metal Gear games.

The game stared to have very noticeable frame drops and slow downs after the Oreo update. I wish if they can fix and not leave it like this.

Am Loving it playing the classics Metal Gear Solid 2 in HD at full 60fps on the Shield TV (Wish it was on the Shield Tablet as well) am Loving it, there was a little bug on the activation but it sorted it self out, after playing this am hoping KONAMI will also port Metal Gear Solid 4 and 3 to the Shield Tablet and TV. Unlikely they would port Phantom Pain XD. Never the less awesome job guys.

I'm laughing at the fact that there isn't a HD release on PC? - SO lucky i have a Nvidia Shield TV to enjoy this (regardless of already owning a console also).
