This game is already hard without a slow, difficult to control port. Love this series, wish this version were better. Specifically, the game started slowing down on the very first level. Also, the joystick requires that your finger stays within a very small circle, otherwise it resets to center. Not so fun.

Multiplayer through bluetooth is a scam, my wife and I bought this game hoping that we could play the game in multiplayer mode. But we just can't. It's a scam.

Joystick doesn't operate outside of it's designated zone, there's no way to lock Vulcan cannons in place without having to adjust them constantly in order to move and fire, there's no way to customize controller enabled controls, and the game lags quite a lot of there are too many things on screen. Just like I remember. :) MUST BUY.

The game was already great but was not updated in a long time. It's now finally fixed and still as awesome as ever! A big thanks to SNK for supporting their games even after so long 🙌🏻.

An amazing game with a pretty solid experience on mobile, but I always get a "file unpacking error" error when trying to launch. This game is an arcade classic, and it's such a bummer that this port doesn't work anymore

Faithful port! But this type of game NEEDS a controller. just tried a keyboard and a controller. It only sees the arrow keys. jumping over enemies while firing down is essential in this game. Many bossfights require the player to aim up and move left and right, with absolutly zero error. devs... just copy how MAME works with keyboards and controllers. They're ripping off what ought to be YOUR audience. I'm going to go play metal slug in MAME.

Literally the worst controls on any game I've ever tried. The movement controls are basically unusable. I've installed and uninstalled the game three times over a course of months but there's never any improvements. Classic game being ruined by basic functionality problems.

Very nice! The controls are fine since i play with a Razor Kishi gamepad. The only problem is that i cant play in multiplayer ,it doesn't work, it never scanned an other device (my brother's phone) with all the options set. Pls fix this issue.

I don't see how the controls are a problem. It's fairly good for a mobile port and I experienced no problem at all. I could finish it with 5 credits previously and now I'm guaranteed to with 20 credits now given. Might as well emulate it ok bluestacks so I can play this ok my pc too.

controls are annoying. very hard to shoot on a diagonal. Also I cleared stage 3 bit still can't select stage 4. I have to replay and clear 3 again in order to progress to 4. and with annoying controls it's not that fun.

Bluetooth Connection Problem The game itself is great and the porting is good also. My only issue is the multiplayer feature. I can't seem to connect with a friend. Fix please. Thank you.

This game still is ok but the joystick its too small to be used and it makes it even harder to play

It only saves your progress up to mission 3 on mission mode despite the fact I had completed beyond mission 4

Awesome game but direction controls seriously lacking. They should have direction follow the left thumb's touch anywhere on screen. If your thumb strays a centimeter too far then you stop and die. Alot.

hello SNK Corporation? can you please update your game for optimizations, and bug fixes, its unplayable although its hard to control and it keeps crashing when i connect my ps4 controller on it, please fix gamepad support for best retro gaming experience, i bought this game since 2017 and the update version is still in 2017, i wish i could play this game smoothly with fixed and accuratr gamepad support 👍

I love this game but the controls are horrible, despite all the other bad reviews about the controls I bought it The game is good the problem is the controls the stick is very difficult to use, I hope it does get fixed because 3 dollars are 3 dollars now days

Just 2 stars not because of the game , the game is awesome , the thing is that you can't set up controls in the controller I get used to A jump X shoot and Y granades... I won't try metal slug x because should be the same sh** fu** thanks !! 🤙😔🤙

I purchased through the play store but the game is stuck in "files download failed" how is that possible that purchasing a game you can't play but using other "methods" is possible. This shows how little the company takes care of its franchise.(edited) thanks for fixing the game

Just purchased to finally finish it but when I open it says unpacking files failed. I thought I have to delete it. I got the refund and bought it again and now it says the same thing. I can't get a refund so I emailed the developer to help me out. I have a Samsung s20e.

Nice game but why sute 20 credit only it's hard to finish with 20 credit only

everything was good EXCEPT the joystick. Very hard to move left and right. That annoying hard touch joystick kills the goodness of the game.

I enjoyed the game, but the joystick is a little small. Caused me to die a lot. Other than that I don't really see a problem. It does have controller support. (Samsung S9)

It's a classic! I cannot go multiplayer though! Once I match the devices nothing happens and I go back to the main menu where there's only single player :(

I've had this game for years, but now I'm getting an "unpacking files error" and am unable to play. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the same error still occurs.

controls are absolutely horrible. cant shoot at an angle barely movement is incredibly hard. such an iconic series would thought itd be done better.
