Fun to play but there isnt enough freedom with the targeting. Commercials are also something you have to watch out for the sneak them in every other minute. Ive just started but it seems like this game arent giving equipment or items. This is definetly a grasp for money. I like the graphics alot. Theres a bunch of stuff going on, on screen and its running smoothly. Need to fix the controls and let some of those items, even character editing. Let them loose.

This arcade seems like a blast from the past video game with badass graphics, cool sounds, and definitely worth $10 to $20 bucks to me. This game is very addictive also, but best to use the two button on right hand holding style, to jump and shoot at the same time, which can get hard for long durations, but it helps to add a feel to the game! This applies to tablet only gamers. Anyways, Great fun!!!

overly intrusive ads, uses enormous amount of mobile data for the ads ( play only on wifi), stops the music you are listening to constantly, even if not watching ad - just even upon starting the game. turrets don't count to your combo - and even if you loose much more time to kill them, you just end up losing the combo score - and cannot beat the stage requrements. and finally - the controls are stupid - always shooting at the nearest enemy, and even if you give direction - it shoots at empty,.

Good game, except the controls. I can't separate the buttons when it comes to remapping them in the screen. Pls make them able to be separated when it comes to customizing the controls.

Too many ads. An ad for every end of a stage. These are skippable, but it's annoying. You already have the ad-watching offer for the players, a "five step offer", and still do this. If it's once every three or four stage, it would be much less annoying.

fun game, very interesting. in terms of design, very simplistic allowing the device to process the graphics very smoothly. I like the fact that you simply just have to level up to remove the ads permanently rather than buying the ad removal.

The game is alright, but when is comes to the controls the lay out is awful, the buttons aren't close to the edge of the screen but more like to the centre. it could be done better by putting it to the edges.

a lot of long adds, but the overall the game makes up for it. Reminds me of the good old days of Contra Force. Good work on the game, but the directional and jump/fire buttons need a bit of tweaking, they could be a little more responsive.

Great game. I really liked it and suggested to my friends as well. Even purchased a VIP pack as well. Only problem is that it only supports facebook for account backup. Kindly support google play games as well for users who don't have or don't like to have facebook account. Kindly support those as well. Thanks for the great game.

The only issue I've had has been when it's been updated sorts out one glinch but replaces it with another, it froze after I died I touched the money button, took my money but didn't play which wasn't needed has it takes awhile too gain money on the game. Apart from that the game reminds me of my childhood gaming lol

This game is great. It really has me on a nostalgia trip. Makes me remember how much fun I used to have as a kid playing Metal Slug at this old Pizzeria I used to go to. The controls are fluid. The UI is great. The graphics are pretty good. I give it 5 Stars! 😊👏

Pls Fix the save data (save game option) i dunno if i saved my data or not..no confirmation like "data save succesfull" i always tap and hold the save data for so long feels like nothing happening.. other games i have is just one tap on save data after some loading then "data save in server or cloud" confirmation so easily while this game sometimes i get connection error but my other games saved succesfull

game looks awesome download with hope wait excited to start up game game crashes on loading screen at 2% try a few more times no success turn off phone try again this time it is more hopeful as I get to the start screen. awesome music start campaign. crashes in loading screen at home screen wondering why god hates me uninstalled game broken hearted all hope gone questioning what's the point of living I'll always be left wondering how great you and I could have been together

Bluntly ... this is a 'CONTRA' RipOff, and a Average One at that. It is NOWHERE Near or Close to 'CONTRA' But, it makes a Good Effort, Overall. Mediocre GamePlay as well. VERY Limited Range of Firing & Weak Controls don't make for a FUN Gaming Experience ... Regards..

it was really good until the ads became overbearing and the "video ad is not ready" message became more and more frequent. I don't recommend this as there are others that provide the same fun factor with less advertising.

I really like the game when it works properly, and it seems like the developers are really paying attention these reviews, so i just bumped my review up to 4 stars because the recent uodate fixed a major bug. Waiting to see if the other 2 bugs have been fixed, if so I'll bump up my review to 5 stars and highly recommend!

Fantastic game, easy and fun to play, but my game crashes every time an ad pops up. Could use a little touch up but other than that I like it.
