Widget doesn't update weather after initial install. Android reports 90 crashes since I installed it this morning. Uninstalling until there's an update...sent screenshots to the dev contact email. Blaming the weather server isn't going to cut it, this app is broken. Update: changing one star to three. This may be fixed now but I've moved on to the paid version of Avia Weather...just wanted a quick METAR widget to check weather without opening Garmin Pilot and downloading the entire planet.
Would be nice to sort saved airports. Alpha, geographic, or whatever.
Edit: dev seems to be working on it! Thank you! Suddenly stopped working. No longer seems to connect to aws or something. Doesn't pull any airports.
Incomplete: Won't get metar for my local airport, which is available from NWS. Widget flashes irritating "metar updated" over current app on each update. Why has MetarDroid regressed? It used to do everything I wanted from it.
I used the non pro version for a long time, this one is even better, thank you dev!
It was a 6 star but recently it quit finding data? What broke?

Stopped working a few days ago on everything I own.. Loved it when it worked...
Love the app but not working anymore. Tried downloading again still not working. Tried the lite version and it works. Can we expect it to work again, soon?
Back to functional again.
Fast and clear. Shows raw and translated data. Stores favourites. Only needs a real world name facility for 5 stars
Recently stopped working. Keep getting a no METAR found error. An option to create multiple widgets with different locales would be great too!
I bought the app after trying out the free version. I have bought a new phone and it no longer works.
Good app - but the desktop widget can only show a METAR and it would be great to be able to have frequently used TAFs available without having to open the app. Being able to show the latest TAF and/or METAR as a notification would also be a nice feature.
App no longer works, it used to be the only one I used I'm a bit annoyed as I have paid for it....any chance of a refund?
I like this app a lot. It lets me read the raw METAR, then check that against a decode if I need to. Plus there's something quietly attractive about the user interface, and it is efficient. One minor feature request: when Pro is installed, could it import favorites from the Lite version? I collect places with extreme weather, and sometimes places in the news. I can rebuild the list manually though. No big deal.
As an aviation student, i can atest this application has improved my ability to decode Metar and TAF. Thank you, keep up the good work.
Love the app, but the widget won't initiate... stuck on "fetching metar". Also would like to request adjustable opacity. Three stars for now... more if problem can be solved. (Skinny - OS 8.1, LG Rebel 4) 1/21/21 Update - Originally, closest station that could be added was 180 miles away. Then added a nearby airport (30 miles away) as a favorite, and that seems to work, but other airports added as favorites are not working in widget form... will add two stars, since it now works, pretty much. But would still like to request opacity control for future consideration...
