Meteogram widget is a meteogram weather app showing the weather in a very detailed way at a glance on your home screen. The app comes in a free and a donate version (Google Play: http://goo.gl/HbxHGx). Support us by buying the donate version, offering some extra features (e.g. 10 day long term forecast, sunrise and sunset indication, show moon phase...). Besides those extra features, the app is more regularly updated.
The app: the weather at a glance on your home screen
Meteogram widget is a weather app showing the weather in a very detailed way at a glance on your home screen. While a lot of weather apps are showing the weather forecast in a rather basic way, this app does that by visualizing the forecast in a so-called meteogram. Doing so gives the user a much better idea of when exactly rain will fall, the sun will be shining, when it will become cloudy...
The main focus of the app consists in showing the meteogram on a small home screen widget (e.g. a 4X1 widget). Even while the widget does not occupy that much space on the home screen, it still manages showing the forecast in a very clear way. Simply add a widget on your home screen, specify your location (or let the widget automatically determine your location) and the weather forecast appears on your home screen.
The meteogram shows the temperature and expected precipitation for the whole forecast period. Besides those typical weather elements, the wind speed, wind direction and air pressure can also be visualized. The user has all freedom to determine how the meteogram should look like: a great set of configuration settings allows the user to customize the widget completely to his own needs.

Weather forecast data
All thanks to MET.NO (The Norwegian Meteorological Institute) for offering the weather forecast data. For a lot of European countries hourly forecast data is available, while for other countries 3 hourly data is available. For the long term forecast period, one of the best weather models
- ECMWF
- is used.

So far I like it but I would like to see one change. When the temperature line is below freezing it should be blue and when above it should be red. Then you can get a good sense of the temp at a glance.
It looks nice (attractive). But i want more than two days (five is best) and do not need hourly on the chart. Five days rather than so many hourly would also allow for bigger symbols. Moreover, your own promo shows five days. But not found in the app.
This app works perfectly for me. I can see everything I want at a glance. It's brilliant. I'm in Cape Town and all the forecasts are spot on. Just fiddle around with the settings until you get what you want. *Dev feedback - Perhaps you can highlight the Save Settings part a bit better, it's easy to forget/miss after you've just spent 10mins setting it up and then you lose everything. :)
Almost perfect. Can you please add day night cycles? The best way I think will be background fading. The higher the sun over horizon then the brighter is background. Day and night color should be adjustable so it can be changed based on background. P.S. I used AIX Weather previously, that feature was there. Edit: Bought it, not exactly as I described, but it works for me. Thank you for awesome widget.
Great, configurable widget! I'd like options to show 3 days. Also, it'd be nice to see a few hours (to a whole day) back so we could compare the weather to what we experienced during the day; that, or just an option to show the whole day until it passes at 00:00.
Hi, This is one of the best meteogram weather widget over thousands of widgets available. A few suggestions, before I consider buying the full version: Can you please make us select to add the "Feels like temperature" line also? apart from actual temperature? Also, precipitation: it would be amazing if it shows the amount of precipitation (as text) that follows the blue bars (like the weather symbol following the temperature line), as an option. Pls let me know if you can add these features?
Good replacement for AIX but I would like to have option to have big 4x2 meteogram only. It would be much easier to see temperature change during the day. AIX had perfect flexibility for creating custom size of widget. Edit: very quick respond from developer. There is really scaling option which I haven't seen.
Widget не работает. Бесконечно Loading... After cash clear and reboot it updates weather, but only once Then it again stops and does not react to tapping the widget. "No restrictions" option in Battery Saver deliberately set for this app. Still, it reacts to tapping on the widget only after freshly putting it on screen. Then stops reacting.
This is a nice replacement for the AIX weather widget. But I have es problem: on my Oneplus 6 it does not update (scroll) as the daytime advances. It stays stuck at the time when I hit save in the settings. I already disabled any energy saving for the widget but it does not help. I this a known problem? Edit: Cache reset and reboot helped.
I don't normally leave written feedback, but i read a review by someone who had experienced the same issue with AIX, which I've used and liked for years, where it stopped working after a recent update. Found this alternative, liked what i saw, and had bought the full version by the end of the day
I like the app very much. It's neat, friendly with every possible info squashed in a small widget and quite impressively accurate. Update: I had issues with placing the widget on the home screen on my device but with the latest update this has been fixed. Thank you :)
Very useful app, have been using for a few years already. However, recent updates have caused the app not to refresh - I've noticed that this tends to happen every other update. Can the developers look into this please? Many thanks. Otherwise its a five star app Edit - I've removed the widget and added it again which seems to solved the issue. I've made a donation so thanks for the work!
oops. i thought i was reviewing another weather app and not this one. nice widget. is quite a bit fidility and takes a bit of trial and error to make it the correct size. good customising options. no battery drain. v happy.
Simple chart displaying the temperature and rain predictions. Exactly what I needed. I did have to play around with the scaling settings to make the display full the 4x1 shape. Otherwise simple to install
This is a great widget, beautiful, clean and customizable. Although I had a small issue earlier, this was quickly resolved by the developer. Thank you for the great support. :)
Best replacement for AIX that I've found so far, but the widget isn't updating. I have to go in to the settings and save settings again to get it to do anything. Pixel 3a
Very good replacement for AIX weather. Shows hourly forecasts. Very configurable. I bought the donate version. I do not want that this disappears like AIX did.
Very good (excellent). I use it on my tablet all the time for the 2-3 years. Now I installed it on my phone because it is not battery hungry. The developer takes care of the app! We're grateful to him for that! The last correction yesterday is to make it true! 😜
This is really good. Moved from YR as they stopped supporting their old style widget. Love how much more info a graph can give than a normal "user friendly" weather forecast.
This app was too 'involved'. I tried to configure it to my liking but it couldn't even give me the current days forecast. It's okay, though. There's not much else out there to compete with. Apps just aren't what they used to be... or perhaps they never were.
Benny - the developer - is VERY helpful and very quick to help . This app is the perfect replacement for Aix - which I have relied on for years for my only quick glance , straight forward weather app . Thank you Benny for your hard work and patience !

Another former user of Aix Weather here. It has finally stopped working for me in Android 11. Long live. Tried this one, read the reviews and got the donate version pretty much immediately. It's a very good replacement for Aix, in some ways even better. Great job there!
Could not get widget to save. positioning seems to be limited accuracy - ie suburb. I live in a very large suburb.
Where are the units for humidity on the graph? When I check the box to show humidity, I see a new line on the graph for it, but there are no numbers to tell me what the actual indicated % of humidity is.
total weather widget - would like to have one button to make everything the same matching colour, so each line and text doesnt have to be changed manually
Only walkthrough option or "buy donate version". Buying and donating at the same time, curious definition only a thief would use. Apparently it can't be used without paying so I don't know about the performance
If there's a Benny Wydooghe fan club, sign me up. Meteogram is very cool. Elegantly customizable, it offers multiple weather sources for high accuracy, intuitive feature selection, and an insanely clean data presentation. Ten on a Five-Star scale from me, BW!
