Pretty good app. Very easy to use. Must have for parking in center city. Love not getting out of the car to find a meter. I will suggest a slight tweak to the display. On my phone (android) it only displays time remaining. Would be great to also have the actual time the session will be over. I get that in the email notification instead. Please add that to app display.

Update 5/20/20: I have since been able to get the app to work once, and then COVID-19 happened and I haven't been back to the city for work. I can never get the app to work. I choose the zone but am not able to set duration and move forward. I have sent feedback 3x with no response. It is irritating since i am trying to get to meetings for work and I don't always have enough change. Would be convenient if it did what it was supposed to.

This is a terrible app, and is designed to increase the chance that you will get a parking ticket. I'm using it in Phila. When I key in the no. of a parking kiosk, an orange warning message appears, which takes up needed space and prevents the duration numbers from showing up at the bottom of the screen. You must select the shortest duration, and then click on "change duration" to get a longer time. Then, it is not clear if the timer has started. The last time, it didn't work and I was ticketed.

Works well enough to pay for parking once you set it up. BEWARE: when you extend your meter time through the app, the rate doubles for the next two hours and triples for the next 2 hours after that. I didn't discover that until I was charged 2x what I should have been. They don't exactly advertise this. You can judge if the convenience justifies the ever-increasing costs.

If I could give this app 0 stars I would. There's a 1 in 3 chance the app won't load at all, it just sits at the splash screen and does absolutely nothing. I have to force quit the app for it to load properly. This usually works. Session ending reminders pop up for the original max time you set even if you have since stopped the session, and happen even if you have notifications turned off. I don't have enough space to write all the awful things about this app in just 500 characters.

This is a wonderful app, most of the time. It took a minute to setup, but the convenience of not running back to the meter is sweet. I just used a bonus benefit! I ended the parking session short and didn't have to pay the full amount. You can't get change from a meter or kiosk. 😁

While I find it odd that the app will let you mistakenly pay for parking on the same car in the same zone twice, and it doesn't give you any information on how to fix this, it eventually reverses the additional charge and you get your $ back. Still frustrating that you can over pay for parking due to app error, and that you can also think you paid for parking due to app error. On 2 different occasions the app froze and I had $35+ ticket on my window instead of $15 all-day parking fee.

App is trash! I've restarted my phone, updated the app, deleted the app and reinstalled it, yet it refuses to work. I can't sign into my account, or create an account. It's like the app has froze up. Meanwhile I have started a session, and need to know how much time I have left on my meter. If I get a ticket, me and PPA will get real acquainted, real quick! PS, I've deleted the app again, and will not be reinstalling.

Paying on this app costs way more than at the stations. The prices on this app change all the time for the same spot. I got curious and checked at the terminal by the spot and parking for two hours was 4.75. That's fine. Check on the app. More than 15 dollars. And that isn't even including the service charge. I figured the service charge was the difference but apparently there is a HUGE markup for no reason. Don't use this app if you have the option. Just use the terminals by the spot.

Thought it was great until I couldn't select duration, didn't get a notification that meter was ending and it freezes more times than it works. Smh. Back to the old way! as of April 2, 2019 the app still freezes and times out in certain areas especially the 34th & Spruce Area of Philly. I wish they'd fix this as the app would be useful!!

Like, it's useful, and easy to use, but there are just some things that could make it better. Most notably is having a button that automatically selects the max time allowed instead of having to scroll through the dial and do it manually. It's a decent app, just little things are stopping it from being great.

Very inconsistent. Convenient when it works but don't get too far from your car because this app only seems to work about 30% of the time. Hangs when you try to set duration and pay. Then at times it seems to work great. Really unfortunate but dont rely on this app. I'm probably going to get a ticket tonight. PS with all the complaints why aren't they fixing this thing? Last updated was april?

This app was a life saver. I was convinced I wouldn't find street parking, but I did. Only to realize that I had no quarters. That's when I saw the board for the app. I'm by the curb, near my car and in less than 5 mins, I had the app, made the account, put in my zone and voila, I was good to go. I charged for an hour first and then kept extending. This was amazing. Thank you for this convinience.

Well, it lets me pay for parking and add time. That much works which is nice. But notifications don't work at all. Only emails, and those don't seem to come in a timely fashion nor do most people see every email that comes in. I've gotten to the point where I set my own reminders on my phone so I don't forget. Could be way better, but at least I don't need to carry quarters or run 3 blocks in the rain to increase my time.

Little difficult to find the app, and selecting payment option wasn't clear. I saw the plus sign at the bottom right corner, but the rest of the screen was blank, so I went back the first time. Then when I was sent back to payment history, I guessed at the next step (pressing the plus sign. After that, the process was smooth.

Terrible app, minutes and hour numbers are so jumbled that you cannot key them in. I have to keep scrolling thru the minutes to get more time. Meanwhile the vultures are circling around your car waiting for you to stop fiddling with the app if they're in a good mood. I'm looking into other parking apps, plus it doesn't notify you when your minutes are running out even if you hit reminder. MeterUp is effed up

During the pandemic shutdown, parking in Philadelphia was free. Today the ticketing process resumed and the app wasn't working. I usually like the app, but the alert system for texts doesn't text you when your time is almost up. I've gone through the settings over and over to no avail. Please upgrade/update the notifications to your texting.

Basic functionality is ok. Performance of the app is almost non acceptable! Changing parking duration causes the app to freeze! Loading a parking meter location is slow even on wifi. The map should have enable/disable option for autoload since the map gets too heavy with markers when zooming out. Also please add filters by car or motorcycle parking! You can't charge extra 40 cents per parking and have a buggy app!

Beware! I used this app 3 times around spring garden. 2 diffrent zones on 3 diffrent days. Guess how many expired meter tickets I got? 3 !!! Currently online disputing them but that's such an inconvenience for something i did the right way. For some reason the app doesn't reflect on the kiosks so the parking authority just gives out tickets.

Used to be a good app but they removed the feature to stop your time early. So if you select 3 hours and decide to leave early, you do not get your money back. This app already charges you extra money for extending your time which I understand is for convenience and so they could make a profit. At least have the decency to let us stop the allotted time early? What a shameless money grab.

This app often seems to get stuck at 6 minutes as I try to set the duration of time. Then gives the message meter up not responding. I can't figure out why it works sometimes and not others. I hoped there was a software upgrade out there. Until then I am back to using a credit card

Almost as soon as I installed this app (about 1 week later), I got TWO notices that said my email and password were both compromised from this app. Now I have to change passwords on virtually everything I use. Not to mention, they most likely have my license number! I now have to monitor EVERYTHING to make sure nothing else is hacked as a result of this breach.

My app will not open. I was able to open it to add money for a parking session but instead of continuingly adding more money while I was away from my car, the app wouldn't open. So i had to rush back to my car to move it so i wouldn't get a ticket. Please fix this problem. You can't play around when it comes to philadelphia parking authority. They don't care about a broken app!

This app has an obvious over reliance for the OnAppearing method. It does not clear modal pages meaning when you open the app you sometimes get a slew of "fee paid" showing up, one appearing for each time you've paid for parking since the last time the app closed or crashed. I'd expect something better for all the money Philly has taken from me through this program.

Trash. Fresh install on my phone. I could create an account and add my credit card info. After that it displays a map, I pick my location and then the app either crashes altogether or it stops responding and does not do anything else, not even exit. Hope I don't get any mystery charges on my cc.

This application is definitely a time saver and very convenient to have on your device. However, there are some minor issues whenever you are in congested city areas with the app's connectivity to the net at times. Other than that it's a pretty good application to have.

The notification never works. Ive used many different phones and the app never notifies me when its set to. Sometimes I will get a notification when I open the app. I added more time, and while it showed the added time, it still ended with the original two hours. They also charge you almost double for extending your time.

App is very buggy, only a blank screen came up repeatedly when I was promoted to add a payment method. Had to go in to an appointment so had to leave the car without paying (could not find kiosk) and finish setup inside. Hopefully did not receive a ticket in the meantime.

App is trash, it doesn't work 90% of the time. Youre always left to search for change or a card to appease the meter because the app you signed up for doesn't work. I tried to update since I changed cars, still unable to. Worthless app, my suggestion is dont waste your time. The developers doesnt even respond or update regularly.

Ever since this app came back to Philly, it's been a subpar experience. The app sucks, quite frankly. The app will freeze, when trying to choose a kiosk. Then, it's a complete pain to try to set the duration, with more freezing, etc.
