I have tried unsuccessfully since the launch to use this app. I've Uninstalled reinstalled, changed the password and still nothing. They obviously have not figured it out. This is very very frustrating. I think we have been patient and need a fix. At first I was told it was an Android issue that wojkf be fixed in 24 hours and that was a week ago.
I haven't been able to use the mobile banking app since they made whatever changes or updates to it. Very disappointing! I've been with Metro for over 10 years without issue, but since COVID19 and the updates and changes they've made, it's been nothing but disappointing! I couldn't log into online or mobile banking for over a week and therefore couldn't check balance etc., and they have charged me overdraft fees. Kind of unfair!!
I LOVE this app, it's constantly updated so the current features are always available. It's fool-proof to use, i deposit all my monthly checks via the mobile deposit feature. I can use my fingerprint to sign in so its secure, even if i don't want to fully sign in, there's an option to just see my accounts total. This app has made my banking 1 million times easier. UPDATE: the constant updates make for a modern app but gives me massive sign in problems & slow loading.
I've been so patient with Metro with an expectation that they will get things right when it comes to website and mobile app development, but it's been years and here I am still waiting. Text verifications still never make it to my Verizon phone and I can't even log in to this app anymore. Glad I haven't been holding my breath!
App literally doesn't work. It will start up but you can't select anything. Fix the app, we're in the middle of a pandemic and some people don't have a car to go use the drive through at branches. How had this not been fixed for months? This is absolutely unacceptable.
I am so disappointed. My app keeps crashing! I have uninstalled and reinstalled and the same over and over. Urrggg. Definitely not conducive to my life right now. Fix please! ~UPDATE: Issue was resolved a few weeks later and it has been a great app thus far. Thanks!
I still cannot get into the app. Can only access my account online. The old app worked great. Should have left it alone. This has been a huge cluster f$$$k. I have uninstalled and the installed the app again multiple times. Still nothing works.
It is a stable app that definitely does the work any banking app does, and it does it without crashing or ruining anyone's finances! However, their ultra secure password authentication can be very tricky even if it is you.
I like this app but there is one thing that I really dislike. The app, kicks me out, erases my log in name and finger print because it can't validate my information. I try to log back in and it won't let me. I have to uninstall the app and re-do my information just to log back in. I don't know why this keeps happening but it's stupid.
Worse experience ever for a bank application.The mobile apps is not working with the same credentials as i can use on my laptop. The recent migration to a new system has been dismal, both on line and via mobile. Very disappointed!
Excellent banking app. This has been the only bank app that has worked 100% of the time for me. No crashes, perfect online deposit transactions, improves with each update. Keep up the great work!
the check deposit functionality is much improved, and Metro has eased off on the annoying frequency of identification verifications, so this is improvement over the previous app. still would like the ability to add a memo to a bill payment made on the app, and to set travel notifications.
Surprisingly decent banking app; best I've used so far. Not over-complicated, and it supports the usual latest features. Especially happy that it has fingerprint login and instant internal transfers.
Frustrated!!! On vacation and need to see my balances so I can pay some bills while away. Can't get in. Called & was told to reinstall and sign in with temp password. Still doesn't work. Im in an rv in the middle of nowhere. I wish u hadn't made this such a drastic change.
Decent app, but I would like for the available balance to be more visually prominent than the full balance, or at least for there to be an option to make it that way.
HIGHLY DISSATISFIED!!! The mobile app keeps stopping..can't log in to view my account. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. Uninstalling and reinstalling does absolutely nothing. To be a major credit union this is UNACCEPTABLE. Please correct this program.
I can't login to mobile banking for more than a week now!!! I have never had such experience with any other banks i have used in my life. It is 10/15/2020 today, and i have not been able to log into mobile banking since over a week! I don't have access to a computer and i have been spending money blindly from my account without knowing if i have enough money in my checking to cover all those expenses. I usually just transfer money from my savings to my checking when i am running low but not now
This app is NOT working! I'm an existing customer that wanted to try to do more with Metro. So I downloaded the app. Easy right? No way. I was JUST in my account online but the app can't verify my credentials? I uninstalled, reinstalled and read the comments again. Oh! Tip on wifi? OK, Odd but let's try = nada. Maybe I need to enroll in the mobile app ( in the web version already) = Error message telling me the dates they will be down... in OCT! Is this an unlucky Friday 13th problem? Not OK
12/29/18 so I just download the app and it keeps crashing. it works on my iPad but not on my new phone for some reason. I contacted them just waiting on a response. will update when I get one.
I can navigate through the basic features of the app like depositing, making internal transfers, and quick checking my funds. My only issue so far is getting the mobile deposits to scan right
Absolutely Amazing . I love this bank. I don't even live in Boston anymore but I kept the bank because I love it so much. From my opinion this app is flawless, it works great . It does the job, easy managing your account and easy to make transfer and pay bills . I love it. no complaint here
So works well when it works but when servers are down it inevitably doesn't work which can be frustrating. But you can still access your account via desktop/online version or by phone.
App stopped responding on my Android. doesn't respond when i try to type my username or password. ive uninstalled and reinstalled it several times and it still doesn't respond. this app needs bugs fixed. please fix so i can use my app again.
Simple and straight forward banking app. Has everything I need. Haven't experienced crashing like other users. Works consistently for me. Thanks!
Been pretty reliable but sometimes it glitches/ crashes and it can be a pain to deal with as your stuck with whatever was in your checking the last time you transferred using the app
works and pretty stable too. I can pay bills, transfer funds, and (just found out) even deposit cheques. Fingerprint identification is a plus. Pretty happy, in overall
I love the app but the credit card account does not show your recent transactions it only shows the debit card accounts. It's very frustrating because you have to wait a whole month for your statement to appear in the mail to check for fraud purchases. I just noticed a fraud purchase on my credit card account that happened a whole month ago.
