I've purchased vouchers here from MJDC Travel and Tours a year ago. They allowed extension because of the pandemic outbreak however I tried to reach out to them for 4 months but we were going in circles in terms of asking questions and support. I finally decided to cancel and request for a refund. Metrodeal says it will be from their merchant but now the merchant is saying it should be from Metrodeal. It makes me feel like they are delaying the refund process.

The app takes too long to load! For every click I make, it will probably take 5 to 10 seconds to load the view. Also, when I tried to checkout, I used online payment but it encountered errors. I did it twice, now I'm not sure if my card was charged or not but it makes me worry about my card credentials. The metrodeal website in chrome is much faster.

The update didn't make the app any better. Now I can't even buy anything at all. Whenever I try to checkout, I always get a message saying it has failed due to "No Transaction ID". Customer service isn't very helpful also. They just advised me to use the browser rather than providing a fix in order for me to use the app with no issues.

This app takes too long to load. My phone just goes into sleep mode while waiting... Also, my favorite merchants are no longer posting deals (did their business close down because of the pandemic?). Still trying to find something to help the businesses, but too much time is wasted just waiting for this app to load.

It may appear that the app is giving discount. But in reality they are just geeting money away from you. I had a transaction for 1204 pesos and the voucher was never purchases. They said that there has been a system error but they never reverted my money back. So instead of me having a discount, I spent 1204 pese for nothing!

TLDR; lacks enough customer feedback. you may be at risk of losing money. An ASAP order for food had to be scheduled for a minimum of 2hrs with 30 mins interval for time of choice. And so I did wait, but they were not able to fulfill the order. Until i found it cold at the guardhouse. The timestamps on the time of order was modified. There's also no reference number for your order. The chat feature for customer service are bots. And the in-app email feature to request for assistance is broken.

Removal of credit card details is very difficult. I was able to removed it via desktop view in my mobile app. If customers are not techsavvy they will email/call your support for sure, which will cause more delay and nuisance on customer's side. May I suggest to add the option to remove the card info in normal view mode(browser) or in Metrodeal App, or maybe just ask the customer if they want 1 time use of their credit card and not save the details at all, upon payment.

I'm infuriated with this app! There's no option in their account settings where I can turn off their push notifications or promotions on my email! I even tried with the browser option and to no avail! My inbox spam is flooded with useless promotions everyday! I wish I never signed up!!

The app no longer works after the update. It stays on logo screen and won't proceed to the offers. It says "No Internet Connection" even when my internet is working fine. Uninstalled and re-installed it, but it still won't work.

Congrats to the new look of the app. It is now user friendly and easy to navigate. All access are visible and no need to call hotline for assistance. Also i can see now my pic on my profile and im looking forward to see new and exciting deals. 5stars to that!

They charged even when transaction was unsuccessful. I was charged 2999 without getting anything. Their CSRs are rude. They don't take responsibility of what's happening within this platform. Very dissapointing. They don't answer emails. They were rude during calls. They seen messages on social media. Deserve no star at all. Unsecure. You might lose money in this app. Very risky.

After entering the registered user email address: "Unable to subscribe the email address. Check your network connection and try again". I suppose you know that your app is very buggy, right? Metrodeal will not make money this way.

This app forces the user to save your credit card details before you can successfully purchase an item. You should have a tick box below if the user wants these details to be saved for future use, NOT force them. This is dangerous specially if your account gets hacked. I won't change the rating until this concern is addressed.

It's very frustrating as to how they ask for a verification if you are using your credit card. I mean what's the deal of asking a government ID and a statement of my credit card before approving my purchases when I've used the same card before without any problem. Don't you know OTP? Another thing, you indicated status of my purchases as "for review" but you are already deducting my account. . I used another alternative, GCAsh, still I got the same email and all as mentioned above.
