This app is terrific. My only complaint is that if a transfer is required or if there are transit issues, one needs to be familiar with all potential routes and check each route separately to determine which trains to travel. Other than that, this app (which I learned about from a Metro employee) is so helpful!!
Excellent app. So happy for the folks that made this app possible. The only issue is that when my phone upgraded to Android 12, when you launch the app, it causes a fault in Android, which causes Android to reset.
No thanks. App shows good stats and data, but not user-friendly for trip planning. App requires you to split a trip if there's a changeover.
Great layout but app had a decent chance of not loading up-to-date data when the apps my coworkers had would. Edit: I realized it would sometimes be user error on my part or a lack of data connection leading to timetables not loading correctly while underground, not the app's fault. The app is still significantly better than the other offerings from what I tried so I'm changing the review to 5 stars. Keep it up!
Perfect for knowing when the train is coming! Very accurate and no internet needed. I recommend this app alot! 😻😻😻😍😍😍😍
App constantly crashes whole phone upon start up to where I have to restart.
Super useful and I've found it accurate so far.
So I have been using this app since about Jan or Feb and it is so great. As a daily commuter, being able to set up my dedicated route is so convenient and is super helpful because I can quickly pull up my stations on one screen instead of searching them individually. Must have if you use the metro daily like me.
Not really the best DC metro app. does not provide a straight forward trip planner and no where to actually see metro alerts. I need that more than knowing the next train. real time alerts and disruptions are most important to me. not really my commute time
I'm a commuter through downtown DC. I have to say this app is accurate, timely, user friendly, and just a necessity for anyone riding Metrorail. Keep up the great work! The only suggestion is to add a "how long until I'm there" option :)
For a relatively small team of developers, this app has been especially helpful when I catch the train and bus. However, bus times were occasionally off but currently the system for busses is being overhauled.
metro zero is a better name, not helpful AT ALL to find a route to get from my place to work, I have 4 bus stops here, and will take multiple buses and trains, this is not a planner app, it's a pick a metro station and the next on the same line then figure out your other lines type of app. worthless and record breaking uninstall. BTW, I AM "a commuting audience"
Awesome app - gives u what you need to know when u need it!
Hands down the best app for commuting via Metrorail. This app often has better and more complete information than what is available in stations and from Wmata's website. Makes delays less frustrating and planning for my commute a breeze.
Communicates everything significantly better than anything WMATA does
quick, intuitive, clear, concise, and rarely wrong... all the things you'd want. also like the bus info it has.
Fantastic app for those that rely on the Metro, real time updates and live maps are very helpful. They offer features that Metro doesn't through the site or app
This app is extremely easy to use and so helpful. I appreciate that I can add my commute and it tells me periodically when the next metro comes.
This app is terrific, amazing, sugoi!! Very informative, quick and responsive, and loaded with features. Best part? No blanket permissions!
App works well but unfortunately it's not reliable with the train timing. I'm uninstalling after the train came 5 minutes earlier than listed and made me late for work for the 3rd time.
This is one AWESOME APP. The status of train arrivals, elevator and escalator outages is truly on point. I really useful and engaging app. Easy to use.
It's very accurate and dependable unlike other DC Metro Apps I have used in the past. I'm glad I made the switch.
Stupid app ... if you have to make a transfer, it asks you to split your trip into segments to calculate the total time. I want an app that tells me how to get from point A to point B.
If you use the DC area (DMV) Metro Rail, this app will provide you with real-time intel. You can see the trains as they travel between stops. I won't be going with out this app.
Downloaded, put in my origin and destination. App responded with, 'your trip involves a transfer, please split your trip into segments'with no other option except Cancel. That's all well and good but I have no idea where the transfer point is to make 2 segments. I could look it up on a map but that sorta defeats the purpose of the app.
